This store hates veterans and the manager is very disrespectful of memorials of two long standing veteran customers that had been going to that store longer than they had been employed. We come here quite a bit. My wife is the crazy coffee/caffeine nut. I am usually the chauffeur. I will get something more refreshing usually. My wife likes their coffee and I like some of the cold drinks like the cold coffees and fruit fusion drinks. The staff are normally fast, friendly and helpful. I also like to get some of their small sandwiches when in a hurry. They aren't bad,but not great either. Fair prices on the food. I think the coffee is over priced. read more

I love Caribou! I'm in the South metro for a baseball tournament and I need coffee! I don't even have to think because I know my order. Same great stuff, good quality. Busy spot between the drive through and even inside. Two of the employees were super sweet and efficient. The manager (I assume) has one of those gruff voices so I thought I was in trouble, but she was just asking if it was for here or to go. What is with all the high top chairs in here? It's not a bar. They really aren't that comfortable. I'm sure couches aren't fun to clean, but the new Bou by me has them and they are awesome and comfy! I was also confused and couldn't find the accoutrements. You know, where the cream, sugar, napkins, etc. are. I looked and looked and had to end up asking for napkins to go with my egg sammie. The other odd thing with this location is the drive through window is on one wall and the drink making area is on the other wall. So to walk to the bathrooms/back of the space you walk between where they grab the to go stuff to take to the drive through window. It's also where you pick up your drink order. So watch it! It's an extra busy area! It is Caribou, so if ever I'm in this neck of the woods again I'll probably swing through the drive through. Bou baby! read more

I frequent Caribou quite a bit at many of their locations. This location in particular is one of my favorites as it is easily accessible and the staff has ALWAYS been super friendly. Other locations are friendly, but there is something about this location that just is a notch above the others. Either way, no matter which location you visit/frequent, beats the hell out of any other "coffee shop" that isn't your local "mom & pop" shop. We love our neighborhood Caribou. It is so nice it's a couple of blocks from our house. We frequent this Caribou. Today they were very busy. We ordered 2 nitros and 2 breakfast sandwiches. My sausage was still cold. Cold sausage did not taste good. Maybe they heated the 2 sandwiches to save time and my sandwich didn't heat through because the other sandwich was just fine. read more

I came to this Caribou looking for a coffee and a place to work for a little bit. I was a bit nervous as I never have worked from a coffee shop before. So it was more than comforting when the cashier said amongst taking my order "You're here to do a little work today?" I replied hesitantly "Yes, for a little bit." She jokes "Well don't work too hard. You gotta play a little too." This place has a great atmosphere and a welcoming vibe. I've been to the Starbucks in this city also and would easily come back here over there. As for my coffee they made it to order. They made it quickly and correctly. The online hours say that it is open until 10pm. I tried to go inside since I saw a woman sitting in there, but it was locked. I figured that it may have just been drive thru hours, so we went through the drive thru. No response, no one there. It was 8:45 pm so I didn't understand why the hours didn't correlate. I saw girls leaving there with drinks at about that same time. Like I said, it was locked so I assume they were the ones working that night. I ordered 3 drinks... The first one came out fine, nothing wrong. The second 2 were made completely wrong and when I came back around to get them remade I had to sit in-front of the drive thru window for ten minutes! They proceeded to take back the drinks and give me new ones without any accommodations. Will be sticking to Starbucks! read more

Rosemount Caribou Coffee is my absolute favorite place to get coffee. When you walk in the door you are promptly greeted,after a few times by name. I never feel rushed as they ask my order. I get a complicated coffee order and the ladies always get it right. Their baked goods are tasty and fresh. They warm them up for you which is a nice touch:) The bathrooms are clean and tables are not sticky or dirty. No other caribou gets my coffee just right like rosemount! This is my boyfriend and I's favorite Caribou. We love the drive-thru that they put in within the last year. They are always super friendly, fast, and nice. Inside is super cozy... is a little smaller since they put drive-thru in but that just makes it cozier. This location needs a refresher on ADA rights. Service dogs are not required to wear vests. The employee was a tad bit rude.

The barista here named Maddie, is amazing! Very friendly and ensured me that my almond milk latte was made with totally clean utensils, as I shared with her that I'm a strict vegan. I received the W O R S T customer service EVER here by a young female. Wish I would of asked for her name. I went in an hour and a half before closing. (I didn't want to be that customer who comes in during closing because I think that's rude, so I made SURE I had at least an hour before they closed.) when I walked in I was the only one there, and I could tell she was upset with me coming in. She stood at the back counter leaning on it and continued to stare at me blank faced. Didn't move an inch to the register. Or even great me. I was somewhat confused so I asked if they were closed. Her response "no." And she moved to the register and continued to stare at me. I told her what I wanted. She continued staring blank faced and said "were out of cold drinks." WHAT?! How can you be out of every single cold drink? What'd you do run out of ice?!? I was in shock by how rude she was and said "okay, uh well I guess I won't get anything then" and her response was "okay, bye" and she walked back to the back counter. I ended up emailing Caribou about the situation and never heard back. I went to Starbucks down the road after this and they were more than happy to make me my drink. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN! Ordered a medium cold press without ice and I got half a cup. Can't believe it when they handed it to me

I had been a die hard caribou fan for years. I don't know if it's just rosemount or if they have all gone down hill. I live really close to both caribou and Starbucks. Was never a Starbucks fan until I experienced the not so good service from caribou on almost every occasion I went there and the phenomenal service at Starbucks. I go to caribou in rosemount now only because they are never too busy and seating is comfortable. However, I go less and less. Usually not very friendly and seem to be out of things frequently. In the evenings the employees spend more time with friends that come in. Today was the topper when I tried to purchase a gift for a friend and she told me as policy, they don't accept 100.00 bills?!Seriously?? Lol!! They do a really great job at this caribou! The baristas are always pretty friendly and I get my drink FAST. I love the cute employee info cards taped to the outside of the bar, they're fun to read while you're waiting and you get to (stealthily) find out about who's making your coffee. Perhaps Christian should work in a job that doesn't deal with people since he was clearly unhappy and had poor customer service. I used to stop here years ago many, many times on the way to and from Rosemount High School. Although its location could be better--it is sandwhiched in a little strip mall complex and adjacent to a tremendously busy Cub Foods parking lot and other stores--the atmosphere and service was always excellent. On almost any day, you can usually find High School kids in there with their friends, as well as older people sipping mochas and the very popular Cooler drinks. This Caribou is roomy, but not as spacious as the others nearby in Apple Valley or Burnsville. On the other hand, I always found the staff above average, even with a relatively high turnover of workers, since they had no trouble customizing drinks to my liking and even added little extras like free flavor shots once in awhile when I was a regular there. I found Caribou's hot drinks to be the best--the Turtle Mocha, Carmel High Rise, and Mint Condition. The Cooler iced frappe drinks cannot really be knocked, especially in the hot summer, but sometimes failed to have the right balance of ice and flavor and came out a little watery, depending on who was working and how busy it was (quality tended to degrade with large amounts of customers). Still, not to be missed if you're looking for a pick me up or just a nice place to relax and sip coffee or tea in Rosemount. read more

Rosemount Caribou Coffee is my go to spot whether it is for a study session or just a place for catching up with friends. The staff for the most part is very helpful. They are very cautious when you are ordering your drink. They are sure to read your order back to you in order for them to catch any mistakes before preparing your drinks. Minimally, I hear them ask me to clarify my drink order, but most of the time, they catch every single part of my order with no hesitation. There have been a few times where the baristas have made my drink incorrect which happens mostly when they make it hot when I asked for it iced. One specific time, they were hesitant to make my drink over because they said that I ordered it hot, when I am positive I didn't since I never order them hot. "The customer is always right" and in this example, that mindset and notion wasn't shown. In the end, they did remake my drink, but they seemed to be very pessimistic about it which was not the customer service that the Rosemount Caribou has provided to me in the past. At this location, the drive thru window is located on the opposite side of the bar so the baristas are running back and forth which creates an atmosphere of commotion on their busy days. The drive thru window was installed much later than the business itself and they didn't have any option to locate it somewhere else. With that being said, I suggest to visit this location any other day besides Saturday mornings when that commotion is much more prevalent. Overall, the atmosphere of Caribou is very relaxing. I usually go to Caribou to study and work on homework and because of that, I am always in need of an outlet. If you are in the same situation as me, make sure to snag a spot in the back or by the windows in the front where the outlets are mostly located.
