We love Cari's. We go every Saturday and we know all the staff by name. When a table leaves, it's cleaned up quickly and made ready for the next people in line. The staff is attentive and coffee cup is always filled. The owner, Marvin, is willing to pitch in and makes sure everyone is satisfied. read more

Second time we've eaten here the 1st time was breakfast before Covid and this time lunch takeout! Just slipped our mind they serve lunch bc we always think of them for breakfast.The CFS sandwich was the best I've had way better than DQ and the onion rings are also fantastic, so so so delicious! Hubby really liked the Sourdough Bacon Burger with cheese! I was so happy they offer the CFS sandwich bc it's rare to find places around here that does. You gotta eat here if you haven't already! Came here with friend we were visiting in Glen Rose. Place was packed, which is always a good sign. I had the Ultimate omelet with coffee and friend had the breakfast special. Food was wonderful, service was great and the entire staff is very friendly and checked back with us frequently. Plus they are a good Christian restaurant so everyone in there was super nice. Loved this place. Will definitely visit it again when we return. read more

Had breakfast here and it was great. Friendly staff and a lot of options from classic eggs and bacon to loaded French toast dishes! I had one of the omelets and a pancake, very good and filling. We went during a Saturday brunch time and it was packed, but the servers and staff were doing their best to accommodate all of their customers. I will definitely eat there again. Just remember that it's not your waiters fault if you go into a packed restaurant while starving and expect food to appear before your very eyes. read more

We went here for breakfast a few days ago as we were passing through Granbury. With six of us we tried a little of everything. I personally had the short stack of buttermilk pancakes, they were super fluffy but to me totally passed as a pre-packaged pancake mix, but I could be completely wrong. The other members of my party ordered from banana nut pancakes to the fruit topped waffles which by the way were absolutely NOT Belgian like described on the menu. Service was friendly but there was a super impolite lady that went to every table in the diner and kept asking if anyone wanted to split a cinna-bun. We eat here fairly regularly and the food is good which is what the 3 stars is for. However, we just tried to go there for breakfast and walked up to a full restaurant with the door locked. Several of us walked up at the same time and they were clearly open so I pulled again. Some man unlocks the door, sticks his head out and hollers "we are not seating tables right now! Our just Chen is overloaded and we are not seating right now" then slammed the door in my face and locked it. It's cool they're busy but a sign on the door would have been nice or he could have been less hostile in his delivery. Plus, I'm pretty sure they're breaking all kinds of fire codes by locking the front door during business hours with customers inside but what do I know? We just headed down the street to Firehouse and had a great breakfast there. They were also very busy btw. read more

Dropped by for late breakfast after church. Crowded so we got seated at a dirty table. Yuck. I didn't want to sit and stare at left overs and dirty dishes. Took awhile before someone acknowledged us took even longer to get the table cleared and cleaned. The young lady who cleaned it seemed put out by having to clean it after waiting awhile we had to flag a cashier to have someone clear & clean out table. Rushing thru it, the young lady e didnt clean it well enough . After bringing us menus I asked her if she could wipe the table some more for left over food scraps still on the table. She was really irritated by this. If we do it right the first time no need to clean it again. Right? We waited again and another server was finally assigned to us. She was fine, did a good job and got our order right. It was somewhat enjoyable although it was really warm in the restaurant. Caris has curbside (still need to go in to get it and pay) amazing Cinnabon's that they package in carry outs. The restaurant looked to be 25-50 capacity with tables separating. The staff are wearing gloves and have sanitizer and using frequently. No masks. I was the only mask. Please support Cari's. Side note: there is a man standing at the front of the restaurant inside with arms crossed not so happy giving me the stare down. Have NO IDEA what that is about but just giving the mask wearers a warning to be prepared. Please support Cari's and small businesses read more

We walked in and the place was busy. But we were greeted and told the next table was ours. They got a table cleaned fast and took care of us. A man walking around ( I assume was the owner) checking on everyone. He made sure tables were cleared and ready for the next person. The food was good coffee was good. People were friendly.
