I was able to recover from the surgery quickly because of the amazing work they did here. And, the PT after the surgery was so effective that I was stronger than ever afterward. A lot has changed in the last 20 years, but one thing that hasn't is the effectiveness of the treatments at HealthQuest. This time, I injured my neck slipping on ice in February. Being a typical guy, I didn't do anything about it until just now. Make no mistake: the staff here will put you to work with stretches and exercises, some of which might not make sense at the time. But, they also do localized massages of affected muscle groups. The heating pad at the end of the PT is also a real treat. The point of all this is to get you back to normal without medication. I am already seeing progress after only a few treatments. It's also worth mentioning how COVID-19 has changed things. They take your temperature with a non-touch thermometer. Everyone wears masks. Equipment is wiped down frequently. And, the clientele has been thinned out so you're never right next to someone else. However, the patients are not employees. They don't get paid to provide a service. Staff should not match negative energy, not provoke up. A nurse yelling at a patient to "shut- up" should call under a zero tolerance policy. Employees should not be using profanity. Employees using profanity toward, with, or within ear shot of patients should be prohibited. Profanity is offensive and should not be the "normal" behavior within any place of business, especially where children are present, and people are ill. I've never been a part of an organization with this level of unprofessionalism.

The staff that was there was wonderful. Had an attendant named Dre take care of me while I was there (the ice had to be constantly changed in the back cooler). Anyone afraid of having the surgery, know that Dr. Sidhu and staff did an amazing job. I can walk 5 miles without any issues. I am noticing that with my back fixed, my gate has changed. My biggest suggestion pre-op. Focus on developing your core muscles, go for walks (if you can) and do multiple sets of squats a day. Your core and leg strength is huge in recovery.
