STOP do not go!! Due to the fact they did not read my medical records like my doctor told them…read moretoo. So in surgery for cat removal and the head Optometrist was doing the surgery and he yelled at me to stop it. when my legs started con·vulsing !!! Like I could stop it, if he had read the record he would of known I had to be put out completely So we are waiting for them to put me under as they should of done in the first place. Then on top of all of that now I have to go to some one else to try and SAVE my eye site!!!! As my pupils as two different sizes, I am now getting head aches behind my eyes, both eyes are so DRY i am miserable. (when I told him about all of this he to ld me to go get some visine!! And come back in a month !!!!) He never even bothered to look at my eyes!!! And the staff they are the worst!! They talk bad about patients, right in the lobby, publicly saying rude and hurtful things to and about people. And some one might want to tell them COVID is over NO more masks, but you go there and that is the first thing they hand you even before they speak to you!!

I did not have a good time at this place. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff were…read moretrying to squeeze every last dollar out of me. At the start of my appointment, a technician persistently brought up Lasik surgery, despite my disinterest. When I said "No, thank you," the receptionist gave a speech about how Lasik is actually cheaper than buying contacts. Interesting take. She also told me that it's a "one-and-done" fix, and thus, much more economically efficient than contacts. I have never once in my life been harassed like this, nor recommended Lasik. Clearly Chittick has some contract with an off-facility surgery site. My recommendation: make that a little less obvious. Next, I attempted to buy contacts through them. Big mistake. Chittick charged me almost double what my old optometrist charged me. At first I thought it was an insurance issue, but then I pulled up the contacts price with NO insurance, and was baffled. Chittick inflates their contacts prices by at least 200%. You are better off ordering your contacts through 1800-contacts or a different site, as Chittick would like to squeeze many extra dollars out of your pocket. This practice is especially hurtful for graduate students. I am making only 2k/month over the summer, and with rent taking about 50% of my paycheck, I do not have time for Chittick's games. If you visit this place, I am sorry. Best of luck.

While I haven't been a patient of Dr Hsu's for almost two years, now, and ohhhh how deeply I miss…read moreher!, I felt that I needed to come here and write a review for her for the following reasons: 1) She deserves it! And I'm shocked to see that I'm the first person to review her! Good gracious, Dr Hsu is like... she's like the kind of doctor you pray you'll find. Warm, compassionate, understanding. She listens like no other. She spends time with her patients, doesn't rush them, takes thorough notes, thorough histories, and sets comprehensive plans! If you're not seeing Dr. Hsu, the only question you need to ask yourself (besides, "Did I fall on my head?") is, "Why not??!" 2) Having moved to Texas, I am deeply pained by how difficult it is to find an excellent GP. These doctors have more mood swings than all the cast for the entirety of the TV show Dallas! And that's saying... A LOT! What I wouldn't give for a doctor like Dr Hsu. What I wouldn't give for half a doctor like Dr. Hsu! Whether it's the bottom or the top, she's still running circles around these fools. =P 3) I don't know if I expressed it clearly enough, how much I appreciated her as my primary, before we moved away. For months after we left, she continued to prescribe a certain medication for me, a med that was difficult to find the right doctors for. Even though I'm sure it put her in a bit of a spot, she did it without hesitation or complaint. She did it because she wanted me to be okay. Because, as her patient, I came first. It's more than just an oath with Dr Hsu... which isn't to say that that's not enough or important to her, but it's just...she's more giving than she probably should be. That's no weakness, trust me. It's just that she's such an amazing person, it's really hard to put it all into words. If I had two hands full of sparklers, a line of fan dancers, an acoustic amphitheatre filled with rockin' classical, and a blimp overhead with a sign that read, "Dr. Jennie Hsu-Lumetta is the bestest doctor EVER," I still don't think I could do her justice.
