STOP do not go!! Due to the fact they did not read my medical records like my doctor told them too. So in surgery for cat removal and the head Optometrist was doing the surgery and he yelled at me to stop it. when my legs started con·vulsing !!! Like I could stop it, if he had read the record he would of known I had to be put out completely So we are waiting for them to put me under as they should of done in the first place. Then on top of all of that now I have to go to some one else to try and SAVE my eye site!!!! As my pupils as two different sizes, I am now getting head aches behind my eyes, both eyes are so DRY i am miserable. (when I told him about all of this he to ld me to go get some visine!! And come back in a month !!!!) He never even bothered to look at my eyes!!! And the staff they are the worst!! They talk bad about patients, right in the lobby, publicly saying rude and hurtful things to and about people. And some one might want to tell them COVID is over NO more masks, but you go there and that is the first thing they hand you even before they speak to you!! read more

I have been going to the Eye Center for around 6 years. I think the staff is really helpful and Dr. Sayegh is so kind and patient with all of his clients. He has a lot of experience and can explain hard concepts to make sure you know what's going on with your eyes. When I was ordering contacts, the assistant let me try a couple of samples to see which one I liked most. After a couple of days, I went ahead and ordered which pair that was most comfortable. To address the waiting concern: If you are in a hurry, I would suggest making an appointment at the end of the day or very early in the morning. 5 stars! The Eye Center rocks, I'm so grateful this place was recommended by my optometrist. I had cataract surgery, not realizing how blind I was, I can see clearly and color is fabulous. The process was simple and easy thanks to the staff and Dr. Samir I Sayegh. They put any worries or concerns I had rest. Yes, I had to wait longer then some places but, the pay off is perfect vision. This is my very first negative Yelp review, as I usually refrain from posting them because I know that everyone/every business has off days, but this facility just needs a little bit of a wake-up call and they've definitely lost me as a client. I've been to the EyeCenter twice now. The first time I went, I literally waited for two hours before the doctor saw me. He was nice enough, and I don't have any issues with him directly. I had noticed at that time how much the place looked like it was in shambles, which was bothersome. People who are taking care of your health should look and actually be somewhat put together. In addition, I had some issues with billing and the people were completely not helpful in that regard. I kind of just forgot about, and moved on with my life. I had scheduled another yearly visit for contacts, but did have to reschedule. I called multiple times and no one answered, so I finally left a message. The day of my appointment that I left a message to cancel, someone called me to ask if I was still planning on coming. Again, complete lack of organization. My last appointment was similar to the first. I had a very early appointment (8:15), I think it was the second of the day. Despite that, it still took an hour to see the doctor, and I actually saw him walk in the door at 8:25, so that was a little annoying. In addition, the technician who helps with with the contact ordering/glasses fitting was so incredibly rude. I'm not an easy person to get upset, but she really pushed my limits and made me super defensive. My eye insurance was new, the wording on the insurance in regard to what they covered was a little confusing, and I needed some guidance. She asked me three times "have you never bought glasses before?!". Instead of questioning, how about you just help the client? I ended up not buying glasses there and instead went elsewhere, simply because I didn't want to deal with her. Also, the receptionist at the front desk was also loudly speaking to a client about her health conditions and what medications she is on - what ever happened to preserving privacy?! I wouldn't want a room full of people to know about my health issues. Overall, I would suggest taking your eye concerns elsewhere, especially if you just need someone for contacts/glasses. I know the other doctor that works there is pretty fancy and well known for his LASIK procedure and cataract surgery, so maybe he is worth the slew of other issues. read more

If you have time to spend 2-4 hours at an eye doctors appointment, go ahead and go here. If you don't care about your doctors name, go ahead and go here (because they won't introduce themselves). If you don't care about them having problems with contacting your insurance company but not letting you know, this is your place. Never will I go here again. It is absolutely absurd to have one doctor and one tech working, yet schedule 2 or more appointments at one time slot. Extremely disappointed. read more

I was experiencing horrible eye pain and was able to get in an appointment the day I called in. I had to wait quite some time before I was seen, but this was most likely due to the fact that there was a specialist in for the day. I was successfully treated for my eye, and the technician and doctor both made sure I wasn't in any pain. The rest of my appointments weren't that long of a wait. Good service, for they made sure that my eye was okay and didn't have to hear a lecture. read more

I don't know if these doctors are any good because after waiting for forty minutes, I knew they couldn't possibly fit me in the twenty minutes I had left before my next appointment. I had the second appointment after lunch, yet there were 8 people waiting, some for more than an hour. The waiting room was huge, with 25 chairs or so, just for two doctors. So, they know they have too many people waiting at a time. The waiting room was filthy. The carpet was filthy, room was cluttered, kids' table was covers in visible grime. I am so pissed I woke a baby up from a nap and had three bigger kids struggling to behave for that long, for nothing. Now we will see if they try to bill me for it. I recorded myself telling the receptionist that time was up, in case I need to deal with a billing sh*tstorm from these incompetents. Will update if there is any fallout. read more

I visit the Danville location and it's always a long wait whether the waiting are is full or half empty. The staff is always friendly and very respectful. I also like the fact that the bathroom is clean read more

I scheduled an eye exam (covered by insurance) with Evelynn Moore at the Eye Center. She apparently performed a contact exam without informing me this was an additional charge (it involved asking me if my current contacts worked and then samples of contacts on the way out, which I was explicitly told I would not be charged for). My insurance does not cover contact exams so without me knowing we apparently proceeded with a procedure that I would then be charged $45 for later. Then when I called to question the billing someone very curtly told me I must have been told about the exam and since a procedure was done I would be charged for it. Even when expressed I just wish I had been better informed so I could have opted out of the contact exam, the person on the phone said there was no way they didn't tell me before proceeding. All around a terrible experience that will cost me $45. read more

they try to take your money even if the stuff is covered by insurance. just got a statement saying i owe for a box of contacts from 2 years ago. theyre always very disorganised and you can understand any of them on the phone. Laura is the rudest person ever. not to mention you usually have to wait 2 hours to get in to the doc for a 5 minute check. NEVER GOING BACK! read more
