My husband is 92 years old. Between both of us, we have had quite a few physical therapy experiences. Carling Physical therapy's treatment process is different from all of our other experiences and is by far the best for us. My husband had a fall a little more than a month ago. He was not able to raise his arms and shoulders to perform the smallest daily task such as picking up his glass to drink water, and he was in pain constantly. Now, he is free to move his arms and shoulders without discomfort. He still has a little way to go but the improvement was stunning. And that is without having to take any medication because Steve, the owner, doesn't encourage his patients to take pain pills. Also, he and his team focus on hands-on therapy. I went there on the first day, but the pt room was dusty and I lay down and received pt, but the body I lay on was my clothes with white dust, and the black clothes I put on were also covered with white dust. I think that the pt place that is used for the next all patient . I have been going to therapy for moderate hip arthritis which can be pretty painful at times. Therapists are excellent and are with you through it all explaining everything you are asked to do. My 15-year-old daughter is very involved with soccer. While we were on vacation in Texas, she was doing some training and rolled her ankle resulting in a moderate ankle sprain. As soon as we returned to AZ, we took her to Carling Physical Therapy for their evaluation and recommendations to strengthen her ankle. We were pleasantly surprised when she began some physical therapy treatments and laser treatments that very day. The sooner, the better, as far as we were concerned. My daughter's recovery was quite remarkable! We were all amazed that in the span on one week-just three physical therapy sessions later- she was so much better. We continued therapy for another 3 weeks to continue to strengthen and stabilize her ankle to prevent re-injury. After those 3 weeks, she was released with their urging to return if her ankle worsened at all. She has been playing soccer back at an intense level for several weeks now and I am fully confident that she is 100% completely recovered. I love this office, I wasn't happy doing physical therapy before but when I started going here I end up finding that is not bad at all, the staff are fun and great helping me to feel better. I had a full shoulder replacement and needed to have PT and was a bit apprehensive about it. Years back on the same shoulder I had a labrum repair and the PT after was excruciating and I ended up not having functional mobility back. Steve and crew have already got mobility back better than before surgery and I expect to gain most of the mobility back like i has before both surgeries. They know exactly what to do and how far to challenge me. I already have made leaps and bounds in my mobility and I expect to gain most of it back.
