Carlisle Flooring referred Royal Oaks Flooring from Maryland to install their very expensive floors, they said they would do an amazing job and we would be very happy with their work. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We have huge gaps in the flooring, mismatched boards, unfinished flooring and squeaky flooring throughout the house. Carlisle said it requires a professional installation team for their wideplank flooring one that they recommend. We are trying to file an liability insurance claim but the CEO Chris Sy is refusing to provide his companies insurance information. As you can see from the few photos below we have a AWFUL project that Carlisle will not stand by. Further the floors were unfinished because Roland the owner of Royal Oaks Flooring stated that Carlisle shorted us 100 sq feet of flooring, the project was 950 sq feet 1200 were ordered and we were short 100. Unsure how this happened Roland claims Carlisle shorted us 100+ square feet of flooring. The project was stopped until new flooring could be delivered. Royal Oaks Flooring kept find excuses for not returning to finish the project. Royal Oaks Flooring was highly recommend by Carlisle and stated on numerous occasions how happy we would be with them. Roland was on site for 1 hour max every other day the other foreman Otto was off site more then on, leaving this very expensive flooring to be installed by inexperienced labors. We are looking into an liability insurance claim for negligent referral due to Carlisle poor referral and the disaster in this project. Carlisle is refusing to provide their insurance company information.

Abel Hardwood Flooring - polished and new varnish

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE I hired Edgar from Abel wood floors to…read moreseal floors at my new location. I had no problem giving him $2500 of the $3300 we agreed to do the job, materials and labor because I had used him once before. He came down, looked at the space and gave me a price. The only stipulation was that he had to get the complete job done in 5 days, starting on a Monday so I could be back working that following Saturday. He agreed. Monday he never showed. Tuesday he never showed. He finally showed Wednesday night, still saying it would be done Friday by doing 2 coats a day. He said like my old location I would need 5-7 coats. He did 1 coat Wednesday, 1 coat Thursday and on Friday he only coated about 60% of the floor and that was the last time he's been in. He told me that I need to give him more money or he's not finishing. I explained that as a business owner, if he quotes a job too low he's gotta still complete the job but learn from it. He called me screaming at me telling me I took advantage of him but he physically came to the building just days prior to give me a quote. A quote that I didn't even talk him down in. I just agreed even though it was quite a bit higher than the exact same job that was 500sqft smaller than he did prior for me. Larger building overall but his job was much smaller.

He did custom work around the fireplace hearth and transitions into the adjoining rooms. From start to finish it was a great experience with minimal cleanup on our part due to his dustless system. I would recommend his services for all of your hardwood needs.

We recently bought an older Colonial home in Salem, NH that has your typical mid nineties orangey…read morered oak flooring that neither one of us likes! We were thinking of replacing the flooring with new engineered hardwood or having the flooring professionally refinished. After weighing both options we decided to have the floors refinished, ripping up the existing flooring and replacing it ended up being much too costly! We started looking for floor refinishing companies and one company stood out among all the ones that we checked out and it was "Grgurovic Hardwood Floors"!We were impressed with their Hepa Filtration Refinishing process and after watching a short YouTube clip on their website, we were sold! Paul the owner was great at scheduling the job and communicating via text messages and phone calls! Paul, Ivan and his crew arrived on time to start the job on the scheduled morning! We also had Grgurovic Hardwood Floors replace all the carpeting in our bedrooms with matching red oak flooring and it flowed seamlessly throughout the house and was stained to look like white oak flooring and then finished with two coats of matte sealer! Paul and Ivan were also very detail oriented and respectful of our home! We were extremely happy with the results, so if you're looking to have your hardwood floors refinished look no further than Grgurovic Hardwood Floors!

We absolutely love our new hardwood floors. Paul and his crew did an exceptional job. We couldn't…read morehave asked for more. We had the original 24 year old vinyl flooring in the open kitchen and bathroom/laundry (including the 1/4" underlayment). We also had carpet in a sitting room. Total area for new flooring was about 560 sq. ft. All of that was removed without any damage at all. We went with white oak to match what we already had in the foyer/hallway and adjacent dining room. Our existing hardwood was 2.25" wide (we kept that as is; didn't replace it), but we wanted wider 3.25" for the new hardwood. There were a lot of cuts to be made in the kitchen, but the workmanship was so good that you can't see any seams/gaps. A nice tight installation. Every room and closet was perfect. The new hardwood was snugly fit along every inch of all baseboards and under all door casings. The old/existing hardwood floors were refinished to perfectly match the new floors. Paul applied samples of four Bona stains that we selected to the new floor and then sealed them with Bona Intense sealer so that we could visualize the true colors in the room. We opted for Bona Nutmeg stain. The Bona Intense sealer makes the color of the stain come out more...richer tone. Then he applied Bona Traffic HD water-based finish, satin sheen. The job took 5-6 days. Paul also asked if we wanted to replace the dark brown metal floor registers with white oak registers that sit flush with the floor. That was a great idea that we had not even considered. Makes a big difference in the appearance. Paul provided the estimates mid-November, but we didn't want to have the job done until February. During that time, we exchanged numerous emails. Paul was very responsive each and every time and communication was clear. He and his crew are very professional and friendly. They are also very neat...never a mess or any debris left behind. It's a messy job, but the air filters really minimize any dust issues. We chose Paul over another person due to the great reviews he had and he seemed to be more personable and easier to work with. He seemed to be more of a craftsman and not just an installer. Great attention to detail. We definitely chose the right person for the job. We will definitely use him for any future flooring needs and would strongly recommend him to family and friends.
