Excellent Service Still Exist!!! When I called Alex was nice enough to give me an approximate quote after asking just a few details. Not to mention she was price better than 6 others companies. Upon dropping off my chair cushions to be upholstery along with my own fabric the cost was actually $5 cheaper than she originally quoted. Since my fabric contained a print Alex even went into great detail the best way the print should be placed on the cushions for the best look and to minimize waste of the fabric. Having said that I decided to purchase fabric for 4 of the 8 chairs. All said and done Alex provided me an invoice payable upon return & advised a reasonable pick up date. Once I left the shop I forgot to ask Alex about covering up the chair cushion numbers I wrote on the bottom to know which seat correspond to which chair. I figured oh well I will figure it out when I pick them up. When picking up chair cushions the outcome turn out ABSOLUTETELY PERFECT! Not to mention the fabric I bought in was used nicely rolled on a fabric roll. And remember the numbers I wrote on the bottom of the chair cushions? They were even nice enough to take note of my numbers, and placed a piece of masking tape of the bottom of the chairs with the proper number. Lastly, then even make tiny cut outs for the screws. It may not sound like much, but if you are familiar about upholstery and chair cushions you know this is a big deal. All in all the entire process and the finish product turned out just like Alex said. The attention to detail, craftsmanship and customer service is unmatched. We had 4 pieces reupholstered by Carlo Home Decor - a 100 year old chair, two matching 8 foot couches and a sectional. They picked up our pieces, we picked out fabric in their shop and they completed the pieces on site, delivering back to our home after completion. Our pieces were restored to a condition probably better than when they were originally created! One thing to note here, our sectional was originally slipcovered in a shabby chic floral. We ended up choosing another shabby chic large floral fabric and had the sectional upholstered instead of slipcovered! They covered 26 cushions for us and had it all done in about 2 weeks, just as promised. The workmanship is superb. Alex has excellent suggestions and was very helpful in making the final decision on the Sunbrella color and pattern. Speaking of Sunbrella: I shopped the fabric prior to meeting Alex. Why Buy A New Sofa When You Can Repair your current one Like New! We were deciding whether or not to buy a new sectional couch as ours was only 7 years old, not very expensive and started feeling uncomfortable. My husband suggested putting new wire support springs and new foam in the cushions to give us better back support. We called Carlo because they recovered a bench for us in the past and were so pleasant and reasonably priced.
