Our house was built in 1995 and the windows had been replaced once (according to neighbors) but…read morethey were very cheap quality. With the heat we've had the past few summers and then the snow that seems to be a yearly event now, we thought it was time to get a really good widow upgrade. We also wanted out house painted after installation and Clear Choice set that up for us as well. (See my review for Triple A Painting). What we loved most about dealing with Clear Choice Windows & Doors was the personalized service we received. They have a large selection of window frame materials to choose from and our choice of fiberglass was an easy one. It was explained to us that fiberglass windows are stronger than both vinyl and wood, making them incredibly resilient to weather and climate -- perfect for PNW homeowners. From start to finish, our team of window installers provided friendly service, excellent craftsmanship, and it took only two days to install the 10 new windows in our home. Before, during and after, the team cleaned up and kept the work site tidy at all times. There was minimal damage to our landscaping as well. We can feel a definite difference in the inside temperature of our house since the new windows were installed. Our AC doesn't seem to work as hard and it takes less time to cool off in the summer and to heat in the winter. The outside look is classy and fits well with the style of our house and the neighborhood. We highly recommend Clear Choice Windows & Doors if you're looking for new windows.

They also installed a damaged window, and damaged property while onsite without telling us. They've since repaired a window they scratched (in addition to the one mentioned above), but have been difficult to work with, and have not yet responded properly to our BBB complaint regarding the poor condition of the newly installed windows.

We just finished our build in Neskowin with Mike Riddle Construction. This is our fourth house…read morebuild, and Mike and his crew far exceeded anything we've experienced in the past. Mike and crew were honest, on budget, and had great communication throughout our project. Mike was always responsive to us, seeking to provide the best service he could, always. Mike has established a great relationship with all the trades that work for him and it showed on the job-site. They were all very respectful, kind and worked hard. AND they always spoke very highly of Mike. Huge shout out to Casey, Joseph and Paul, who saw us through to the finish line. And to all the trades that put their time and craftsmanship into our home. THANK YOU Mike and Crew. You've created an incredible sanctuary for us. Dan and Christina McMillan

I'm about to rave about Mike Riddle and the Mike Riddle Construction, Here's why: From the dozen…read moreor so drives Mike made out to prospective build sites in far-flung Yamhill County locations, through the year-long wait for us to sell our home before we could afford to build, over the dozens of meetings, thousands of texts, hundreds of emails and millions of questions we had, and up through the finishing touches and last-minute punch list loose ends, (and even well after, including today) Mike was ever the picture of professionalism, courtesy, honesty, friendliness, enthusiasm, and service. We literally love him. Mike was as enthused about building our home as we were about having it built. He comes alive helping you make your dreams manifest, and he draws on his experience with all things construction to advise about the options and features you desire while also warning of the potential pitfalls of ideas that seem great but that may not play out as well in practice as they are imagined in theory. Mike works with only the best subcontractors (often exclusively and repeatedly) and does not tolerate subs who shirk, scrimp, or simper. In the front office, Becky entertained my endless questions about costs and draws and banking apps with patience and friendliness. Dave, who took over the project management mid-way through, was attentive and friendly, solving problems and coordinating subs and juggling jobs with professionalism and reliability. We actually designed our home, not knowing a thing about engineering, architecture or building, and Mike made it happen, matching our vision to the finished product in a way that exceeded our dreams and expectations. The home literally looked exactly as we had hoped--only better. In fact, many of the subtle and grand touches on the home were collaborations with or adjustments made exclusively by Mike. For example, he was as excited about our sunken living room as we were. He also saved us thousands in concrete work while simultaneously improving the modern aesthetic of the front view of our new home. When things went awry--as they will whenever work, codes, weather, and people are involved--Mike smiled and said "We'll take care of it; we want you to be happy." And then he did take care of it. And we are happy! Most people would never want to build a house again once they've done it--all the decisions, stress, cost, and potential conflict with a builder or their subs. I will never build another house. But only because Mike struck gold with this one and we are never moving. But if we had to do it again, we'd call Mike in a heartbeat with not a single reservation or doubt. Mike feels like family, and we recommend him to you with the highest praise.
