I didn't come to Mexico to eat at McDonalds. But like any bad tourist, I am perpetually curious…read moreabout the international version of any Mickey Ds. Typically, they're good and offer something unique / regional. This one on the other hand, was not good. In fact, it was terrible. First things first, I was appalled at how filthy the place was. I was under the impression that McDonalds did its best to appeal to the masses with cheap and convenient comfort food and also keep the joint sightly. The floors had this sticky grime to it like it hadn't been mopped / deep cleaned in awhile and the air was thick with this greasy musk. To make matters worse, the ventilation must've been out because it was uncomfortably hot. But no matter, my curious group of gringos were in need of some McFood, so we ordered enough to puzzle the turistas around us. Fish filets, quarter pounders, fries galore, cheeseburgers etc, a whole gamut of the menu essentially. We ordered drinks as well, but the ice machine wasn't working. Thank goodness the sodas were chilled. What really irked me was how unfriendly the service was. I am used to inept service in the fast food arena since I live in NYC, but this was as apathetic as it could be: counter folks barely acknowledged us and to no one's surprise, got our orders and totals incorrect. This place wasn't busy, but it did seem understaffed with a ghost crew working there. The sad part is, I've been to another McDonalds in town (https://www.yelp.com/biz/mcdonalds-playa-del-carmen-2). Although very mediocre, it still was light years ahead of this one. Lastly, we didn't find anything unique about the menu. Nothing regionally interesting to us, which was virtually the only reason we came to check it out.

Horrible Horrible experience. We ordered 4 different meals off the menu. Half the order came back…read morewrong but since we didn't speak Spanish, they weren't able to figure out what we were saying so we took the order back to our seat. There was no ice available for drinks. Half the drinks were out so you were only left with a couple options to choose from. They didn't have any straws. The ketchup dispenser was empty and there wasn't anyone available to help us unless you stood in the long line to order again. By the time we sat down to eat our food and fries were all cold. I orders the Big Mac meal and the meat on it didn't even resemble meat. The picture I posted shows the quality of the meat patty. WE WOULD NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. My husband ended up getting sick that night. Not sure if it was from McDonald's but I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with what he ate there.

We were starving late at night after an adventure and this was one of the few places open. Good…read moreservice. It appeared clean. We took ours to go as we were also exhausted. The food was served fairly quickly. It tasted great and we were sure glad it was there! One star removed for the ice cream treats we ordered not even being half full.

Burger king was good, but there were many things that kind of got me angry (in my opinion don't…read moretake it personally because I actually love their burgers-) So first things first, everything was pretty clean and taken care of. However i was not able to go see the bathrooms so I can't say anything about them but thanks to Pete.D one of the people who have made reviews (please go down and see him if you are thinking about going here, especially for the bathroom!!!!!) There were tons of people here almost all tables were closed except for some crunched between people which were for two or on couches. The line was really long and people continuously entered ordering big amounts of food which made us wait longer, at least they had AC or else I would be making this 2 stars, I'm not joking. Now about the food i went here twice so I got the kids bag with the little toy inside and my dad got the chicken sandwich. I also got the ice drink in cherry flavor there was also grape flavor too, it was yummy but if you don't want to become a balloon then only drink like half and then save the rest for tomorrow!!!

10/10 recommend!…read more Service is on point. I have never been disappointed! Omar, Roberto, and Julien, gracias! Food and beverages flow like it's the way it was intended! Cabanas are via reservation and they are super useful for groups and those that need an afternoon nap! I absolutely love this place!

Cozumel Day at Paradise Beach…read more We booked the all-inclusive day pass through Viator and saved 10%, and honestly... anytime I can save a little money, I will. Quick tip for anyone going: when you walk out of the port and head to the taxi line, don't just jump into the first one. Our first driver tried to upcharge us quite a bit. We kept walking and were able to negotiate. I had heard it's usually around $15 per ride (not per person), but we ended up paying $20 -- and honestly it's a bit of a drive, so I get it. Also... those taxi drivers drive like we're in GTA. Once we arrived, the vibe was totally peaceful. Yes, the chairs are fairly close together (similar setup to Mr. Sanchos), but Paradise Beach felt much calmer and less of a party scene, which we really appreciated. The food and drinks were actually really good for an all-inclusive beach club. We tried quite a few things: * Nachos * Quesadillas * Blue cheese burger * Grilled shrimp * Coconut shrimp * Grilled mahi tacos -- which were the highlight The beach was nice, the pool was great, and you basically pick your "home base" (pool or beach) so your waiter knows where to find you for food and drinks. A few other things worth noting: Great bathrooms and changing rooms Lockers available (extra fee) Inflatable water park for kids (extra fee) Paddleboards and snorkeling (extra fee) Would I go again? Yes.
