It is a photo of a crocodile just stop the beach in the water near Alberto's restaurant in Cozumel

We ate dinner at Alberto's. We had a group of seven who walked to Alberto's from our hotel the Iberostar Cozumel waves resort which is next-door. When we were at Alberto's, we saw a giant crocodile just off the beach in the water....pretty cool. The view from Alberto's is beautiful. It is beachside. Every table has an ocean view. Definitely the Mexican beachside restaurant vibe probably a party spot later in the evening. Delicious cocktails. My husband and I shared the seafood platter which had two lobster tails, shrimp, fish, baked potato coleslaw, drawn butter, which was delicious. The service was great and very attentive. Prices were a little on the high-end, but for the view and the vibe, totally worth it.

Great food, great service, great fun! We visit Cozumel 3-4 times a year and we always come to Alberto's at least once during each trip! We have never come without friends or family and no one has ever left disappointed! They truly do have the best tail in town!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Alberto's while watching the sunset with toes in the sand. Staying at the Iberostar next door, we decided to get off the resort for my birthday and Alberto's is just a short walk down the beach. I contacted them by WhatsApp earlier, so when we arrived they had a table in the sand with a perfect view of the sunset ready for us. Service was great and margaritas excellent. I got chicken fajitas, which were extremely tasty and they had no issues substituting jalapeños for the bell peppers. Hubby got fish, which he liked a lot. And by happy accident there was a rock cover band, The Rockafellas I believe, playing very good rock. It was honestly one of the best birthday dinners I have had in a while. Thank you Alberto's!

So it's got a good location and okay food if you don't take into account the price. If you're looking for a five star luxury experience you will not find it here. The worse fish tacos on our whole trip. But the experience was fun, the view is gorgeous and if you have no other options it's a good stop.

Always a great little seafood stop, the conch is my fav, plenty of fresh options and minutes from the big beach traps.

This is the beach we are o we were this close to the ocean.

The food was amazing! Dinner on the beach was beautiful! The staff was amazing! They have music for dancing and a gift shop.

Wonderful, fresh seafood. The margaritas are amazing. The location is beautiful. I only took away a star because the mosquitoes were INSANE. My friend had 42 bites after leaving- with bug spray. We had to taxi it back to our resort fairly quickly.

Pick your fresh catch to be grilled!

Great service, good food, was the perfect stop we needed and Pancho was our favorite! Only drawback was the sargasso build up on the beach.

Great food, right on the water. Only negative is how loudly they play the music. Other than that, they are very accommodating.

We walked up to the restaurant when heading back to our room to have one large group being escorted in for dinner, so we asked the Headwaiter Nathander if there was any availability, since we didn't make reservations. He was kind enough to get us in after about 10 - 15 minutes, which is really good for not making a reservation. We were seated at a comfortable quiet table. Leonardo was our waiter who took care of us, and was on top of everything. We chose the items from the online menu - I had the Mar Y Pollo, which was a plate of divine chicken, shrimp and rice. It looked like a small portion initially, but I polished it off and was full. My son had some huge bowl of corn, steak and vegetable and boasted how good it was. All in all a very good dining experience. Very good food and very good service. We would eat here again on our next visit to Fiesta Americana!

It's low key and like all the others, dress is casual. I ordered the salmon and avocado salad to start. It was very minimal and very tasty. Everything on the plate was chilled-including the batter fried avocado. The salmon was moist and it was a perfect size for a starter. For dinner I ordered the chicken with poblano mole sauce. Omg. It was delish!! The mole had just the right amount of spice and was not too rich or heavy. It was accompanied by a small side of rice and some veggies. Dessert was awesome. I had the Mexican chocolate mousse. It had a few bits of blue cheese in it-an odd combo that worked well. It was topped with a dice of fig and a raspberry. I walked away from dinner happy and not overstuffed!

The service is quick, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food is consistently delicious. Before your meal even arrives, you're served a plate of fresh radishes, cucumber, and lime wedges, plus a selection of toppings including tomatoes, onions, and both a green and red salsa. Unfortunately this location didn't give us the cactus like the other locations did. The red salsa was my favourite, it paired perfectly with the tacos and had just the right amount of heat and flavour. The standout for me was the al pastor taco. The meat was incredibly flavourful with crispy edges, a smoky char, and the perfect balance of savoury spice and sweet pineapple. It was easily one of the best al pastor tacos I had in Playa del Carmen. I also tried the sirloin taco and the chicken breast plate, both of which were excellent. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the quality was impressive, especially for the price. El Fogón absolutely lived up to the hype. If you're looking for authentic, delicious tacos and grilled meats that won't break the bank, this is a must visit. I loved it so much that I ended up eating at all three locations and every visit was just as good as the last.

When we got off the ship there was a line of taxis ready to go and the ride cost $20 for two people one way. When we arrived, the staff greeted us and guided us to the front desk where we checked in for our reservation. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time because it definitely helps expedite your entrance. One thing worth noting is that when we booked online it didn't show cabanas available, but when we arrived the host checked and was able to get us into one. I highly recommend getting a cabana if one is available because it gives you a nice private area to relax. That said, there are also plenty of tables with covered umbrellas that provide shade from the sun. What really stood out about this place was the level of service. It was incredibly attentive. I honestly don't think we ever waited more than a few minutes before someone came by asking if we needed another drink or more food. Our servers were Juan and Pops/Eric and both of them were fantastic. It felt like every time I turned my head one of them was checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They offer all-inclusive food and you can either go up to the buffet or order directly from the menu and have it delivered to your table or cabana. The property also has multiple pools, massage services, swim-up areas, and gift shops around the resort. At one point what appeared to be a manager came by and asked how we heard about the place and checked in on how our experience was going. That really reinforced how focused they are on service. The location is right on the beach so you get beautiful ocean views while enjoying unlimited food and drinks throughout the day. Beach has a rock floor bed so it wasn't the most comfortable, but it's the beach. Water was very clear and the beach and establishment was insanely clean. I'm giving a 4 star only because we had an all inclusive drink package, and I couldn't get a Red Bull. They said I could have a Red Bull and vodka but not a Red Bull. They said they only served alcohol.......i told them I didn't want to drink and he said no and laughed. I later went back and folded. Asked for a red bull and vodka.
