Service wasn't the best. I haven't sat down to eat at a fast food restaurant since the covid closures. I usually have fast food every couple of weeks but I really enjoy using the app to order my food and pick it up at the drive thru window. Overall the app experience and picking up my food through the drive through has been great at this Carl's Jr. probably would give them a 4 out of 5 for service that way but on the other hand. Sitting down to enjoy your meal there, that's where I would my rating is coming from. I ordered my food and sat down, shortly received my meal. As we were going to be begin eating, we realized we needed ketchup. My dad decided to go ask for some at the front and it took almost 8 minutes of him just standing there to get the ketchup. I saw 3 employees walk past the front without even acknowledging him. And they weren't even busy. There was one other family eating inside. And my dad had to get one of the employees to acknowledge him to get ketchup. Overall not a pleasant experience. But then again this is a fast food restaurant. I went to Carl Jr's in Sierra Lakes to get 1 biscuit and 1 small shake, I was in the store at 9:03 but it took until 9:09 for Mariela to take my order, even though I was the only one in the store, Maricela make the shake and put it behind the counter, then waited until 9:24 before I got my order, when Maricela squeezed the shake cup it was obviously melted to pink milk, she put it under the shake machine and tried to aerate it, I told her I would like a fresh shake since that one had sat and she told me I would have to wait, that there were people in line behind me and people waiting in drive through. I reminded her that I was there way before the line or the people in the drive through. I asked her if "dine-in" customers got served last? but she did not answer. A customer should not have to wait in Carl Jr's lobby for almost 30 minutes for a biscuit and shake and the biscuit was assembled from stuff already cooked. Your staff that's currently employed at this location needs an entire training on customer service and what it means to work in the service industry. Went here for the 3rd time since I've downloaded the app...every time it has NOT worked on my phone or my husbands phone. Went to get the deal on the app (buy a western burger get one for $2). The app wouldn't work again and the manager Jose told us too bad. They wouldn't honor their OWN deal on their OWN APP!!! We both had great service on our phones, so again, this was just an app that is false advertising!! How can you have a deal on your own app, can see the deal, but can't honor it because your app won't show the bar code???? How??? Complete joke and false advertising!! You lost customers for good at this location. Jose refused to help us. We walked out. My entire family and friends will never give you our business. Every time we've been to this location, it's dead. Now we know why. Your prices are high and you only have a good deal on your app, but you can't ever get it to work and the manager won't honor it. So sad how far this once really good establishment has fallen. I remember the days when my dad would take me to Carl's Jr and me knowing I was about to eat a really good burger. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Carl's Jr seems to be more concerned with speed than getting it right. I have a hard time picturing myself ever stepping foot in one. As I entered this Carl's Jr, I gazed around and saw a dining room that had been neglected. The supervisor or manager who took our order almost made me leave before paying. She looked utterly unhappy, no smile or interest in being there at all. She made no eye contact and I could barely hear her speak. Still, I decided to give it a shot and stay. As my family and I sat down waiting for our food, I saw several people who came in after us get their food 1st. We got our food and suffice to say, were thoroughly disappointed. My Super Star lacked flavor and my nephews Double Western was lacking flavor as well. From our service to the cleanliness of the restaurant to the lack of flavor in our food, it was tough to admit that Carl's Jr simply does not have "It" anymore. So sad....... read more

This sandwich was horrible. The chicken which I thought was a hamburger patty it was so dark was dry and hard around the edges. I couldn't even bite through it! It shredded!! Today I went to this location. Placed my order in the drive thru. Order was repeated back correctly. Go to window and after paying they want me to park in front so they can make their drive thru numbers look better than they really are. I hate this because it then takes them longer to make and bring your food because no one is being timed. Then the girl comes out and asks me if I ordered reg or Cris cut fries. I tell her Cris cut. She goes back inside and comes out to tell me the manager Daisy (who took my order) said I didn't order them that way so I have to pay extra. First of all obviously the girl knew the order was wrong because why would she ask me what I ordered if she didn't think it was wrong. But now the manager Daisy wants me to pay more when she made the mistake and then also made me wait extra long for my order so she can pad her numbers. What kind of customer service is that? She punched it in wrong because she repeated it back to me correctly. We are regulars there and every time Daisy works she is rude and has terrible customer service. Her other employees are great. Why should I have to fix your mistake? Obviously your employee knew you messed up or she wouldn't have asked me that question. She looked super uncomfortable even having to ask me to pay. I just took my food and left but you are a horrible manager and the fact that you didn't even have time to face me yourself and call me a liar is ridiculous. After I ordered, get to the window pay for my food i then ask for sauce (ketchup ranch and honey mustard) the drive thru worker Kelly (also the girl who took the order) says we dont have any sauce other than ketchup (its 9pm on a friday night) I ask her why didnt you tell me you guys were all out of sauce when I ordered my tenders, she responds "oh that is something we do at the window" thats very pleasant after i order and pay for the chicken tenders then you let me know your out of sauce(ranch bbq honey mustard). So then she says do you want ketchup i respond yes. Then parks me, theres 1 vehicle behind me, i say sure no problem. Waiting in the parking lot for the food I ordered (she finally brings it out to me i ask her to cancel the chicken tenders because there is no sauce other than ketchup on a friday night at 9pm. She says ok asked me to give her the tenders, as im looking through the bag i then realize she didnt even put the ketchup she claimed carls jr had. What horrible customer service will definitely not be returning to this carls jr. If kelly dosent like her job she shouldnt be working there hope the owner sees how there store is run when they are not around. The drive-thru girl even repeated the order and called out $13.xx. Then at the window, the guy called out "burger and a coke". I said "no coke, just a monster burger, fries, and ice tea". As far as fast food places go, this went well for us. We just wanted something quick as we had a screaming newborn and an angry toddler in the back. The person taking the order at the drive through was patient and answered our questions. We ended up getting two Famous Stars, a Dr. Pepper, 6 piece jalapeño popper, and a 6 piece star nugget kids meal. We were really excited for the Jurassic park toy, but it came with a mini game instead. The Famous Stars we ordered with no onion, and they came with no onion. The Jalapeño poppers were cooked perfect, nice and crispy on the outside, yet fully melted cheese inside. The fries for the kids meal were nice and fresh with a good crisp. The only issue was the Dr Pepper. They ran out as she was pouring it. Now they could have actually ran out, but she didn't even go check if there was another case in the back. I know those are easy enough to change out, but I also know she maybe didn't want to keep us waiting. Overall it was a good experience, and it was fast.
