I had to be in Lompoc today. I made the mistake of going here. I wanted and ordered a hamburger. No mustard or any other liquid topping. I was given a cheeseburger with mayo. Terrible. Asked for fresh fries & after spending $37 couldn't get them. Ordered a super star burger that I received flat as a pancake, looks like it had been sitting for hours. Are Burger King milkshakes suppose to be like drinking flavored milk? You would think after the remodel there would be some pep in their step, but nothing was quite acceptable except the fries (how can you really mess those up, though). Milk shake was obviously barely churned as it has the consistency of strawberry milk. Bun was soggy and falling apart and they handed everything over so quickly as to be in some sort of rush. For what? The empty line? Probably not even worth writing this review about, but just goes to show fixing the outside doesn't quite fix the inside. read more

This is the third time in as many weeks the burger was made wrong - when the receipt says no pickle, onion or cheese and the cooks can't get it right. It's not like they were busy, it was 11:37 and nobody on the drive thru - 2 stars because the person taking the order was super nice and very professional - I'll be taking this place off my list for lunch. How do they get this wrong? What if I had a cheese allergy? The manager said she was sorry but I have called the other times and nothing changes - try at your own risk. The quality of food here has gone down from a place to go to. I used to come here a lot. It has changed, a lot. Customer service are still good here but with crappy quality food, nah. I was surprised seeing few customers here, probably they really like it here. O well, not for me. There are other places in town where I can enjoy a good burger for pretty much the same price with a better quality. Their soda machine was not maintained, too. It tasted awful, more like a diluted soda when I tasted it. Good thing they have another machine that still has good taste with it. Went on a Friday afternoon to get a couple of Western burgers and fries. The line was long which was good because I figured I'd get fresh food instead of pre-made food. I was wrong. When I got home, the burgers were lukewarm and looked pre-made, and the fries looked like the bottom of the pan, little pieces mixed with some waffle fries, again, bottom of the pan so lets get rid of them! My dogs enjoyed the treat though. This was my first time back to Carl's Jr. after over 10 years because of their consistent bad food and terrible customer service. For these reasons, we stopped going. During this Chinese virus scare, want to help the food industry by patronizing a different establish each week. After this experience, I'm done with this place. Man if I can give this a zero I would I went there to try out new Double Deal Jalepeno one and Guacamole one so we order just the sandwiches to make it easier. So I went to pay for my food and the drive thru cashier said what was my order so I repeated it he reorder my order. Every time I've gone, I have special ordered the same thing (teriyaki burger, no teriyaki, no swiss, sub american), and not only is it ALWAYS done right, but my food always looks so PRETTY! I know that's so dorky to say, but with fast food, presentation isn't really a concern for most places. The staff is always so nice, and not only is my burger so beautiful that I want to take a picture (but I don't cause I get too excited and devour it), but it's always consistently delicious!! The workers here really need some more training. Yes i understand it is a fast food resturant, but that doesnt mean the standard of customer service should be any less compared to anywhere else. The drive thru people hardly speak english, they repeat back 5 times and each time they repeat it back, they always change something about the order which makes it wrong. They dont give you their full attention at all, and always forget to either give you the sauce you ask for, the extra napkins, or even the right order of extra cheese or changing your fry selection. If we had another Carl's in town, we would for sure go there, but since we live a block away and the only other ones are in Santa Maria, this one will have to do for now. read more

Just went there to get some food and went through the drive thru. Made sure we had the right number of items and we did. Forgot to open box for the burgers and sure enough when we get home the order is wrong. Most disappointing thing when you're hungry and expecting what you ordered and see it's something else. I don't like that they charge for using your debit card. The food is one of the best compared to other Lompoc fast food restaurants. Whenever I enter, the atmosphere is nice. Slow service and the place smells like a sewer. Ughh! We took our food as take-out and are in the car.

The other day I order the RANCH CHICKEN TACO. The chicken had no flavor and the flour tortilla, when it got wet from the ranch dressing , stuck to the wrapper,and when that happen the whole taco fell apart. Hope the owner of this Carl's Jr. sees this: This afternoon, I went to the drive-thru window, and asked for a burger and then decided to get the combo with it. I repeated the price written on the menu to the young lady taking the orders, to verify that's what I would be charged. During that short transaction she cut me off twice. Then, still at the menu, and since I dont usually buy sodas, Coke or otherwise, I asked her what kind of Coke was the one shown with a black label, and she answered me by saying "No, that's Mexican soda"! I was surprised at her answer. I repeated the question and also asked if it was caffeine free, she finally told me it was Coke Zero, which i took to mean it was artificially sweetened, so I asked for regular Coke. She asked me if I wanted a medium or large size combo. I said medium. When I looked at my order on the screen, I noticed it was about $1.50 more than shown on the menu. When I tried to ask about that, she cut off her mike, for the 3rd time! So I drove around to pick up my order and this young lady looked drugged or something was going on! And her hair was long and all over the place, and a mess. When I told her I thought she got my order wrong, she walked away abruptly, then when she came back I told her I thought she was overcharging for my order, she said very rudely, "You asked for medium! You should have said small!" I asked her why she hadn't offered me that choice, and she replied "We're supposed to sell you know!" Then she walked away again. She ended up over charging me, even when she went back and got me a 'small' Coke. She interrupted what I was saying to her or trying to ask her several times, very disrespectfully, and looked at me in such a sullen manner! Very rude! I will never go there again. That girl has no business misrepresenting your restaurant. read more
