Stopped here for a quick late-night bite on our way to Solvang. The drive-thru line was incredibly long, so we decided to head inside. Surprisingly, it was much less crowded, and finding a table was easy. Unfortunately, this location didn't live up to the level of cleanliness and hospitality I've come to expect from In-N-Out. The trash cans inside the dining room were overflowing, which really stood out to me. I've been to many In-N-Out locations throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County, and I've honestly never seen one this messy. The women's restroom was clean, but my brother-in-law said the men's restroom was in pretty rough shape. The food was good as always, but my cheeseburger was disappointing. The lettuce was so pale yellow it was almost white, and it looked far from fresh. I've never had an In-N-Out burger with lettuce like that before, so I ended up removing it. Maybe it was because we visited around 11:00 p.m., or maybe it's just this particular location, but the overall experience didn't meet the high standards I've always associated with In-N-Out. The food itself was still good, but the cleanliness, restroom conditions, and lack of attention to detail really missed the mark. Because of those issues, I'm giving this location 2 stars. If you arrive at lunch peak, prepare to sit in the drive through for about 15 mins easy. That said, I love getting hamburgers w onions and pickle here - they feel sort of healthy as far as burgers go. Their fries are not for everyone and I would rate them as a solid 3.5/5 as far as fries go but I still can't resist ordering some when I visit. I'm starting not to like the fact the food is overly priced and burgers either being under cooked or not properly made to order. Usually I hit the drive thru, but today I had time to sit inside with my daughter for a lil lunch date. Our food came out pretty quickly for it being lunchtime, and they had a packed drive thru. Now they are sloppily put together, ingredients falling all over the place, the burger patties are burnt, and they even forgot my tomato recently? I don't want to wait in a 30 min line for this...
