I'll start my review off with what I dislike and end with what I do like. most people do the opposite in my opinion. I really dislike that their brownies were discontinued or on backorder? maybe sold out? I don't remember if I got some chocolate chips cookies either? I also really can't stand there's no straws for the fountain soda!! The food is fabulous, you just can't beat the build your own pizza with so many choices! Tonight, my husband got almost every kind of cheese and every topping! Walked in around 6:20 pm today to order a pizza, no one else in line and the young lady behind the counter told me I'd have to wait for 15-20 minutes before I could order and have my pizza made because of online orders she was preparing first. Then she just walked away to the back somewhere. Terrible customer service. I don't understand the point of going in and having to compete with online orders and I don't appreciate the poor customer service. Idk who was working today but our order was unacceptable. One pizza had no toppings. For a pizza with 6 slices, there are 4 slices of jalapeño. Ridiculous The other pizza had 3 dollops of cheese. 3 out of 6 slices had cheese. The other 3 had NO CHEESE AT ALL. Requested a balsamic DRIZZLE. They DUMPED IT. Get your good old fashion racist pizza here. Serving burnt pizza as well ! Our pizza lady was extremely partial to white patrons . Her pizza making skills came with smiles and small talk if you are white. Had the luxury of sitting in the restaurant long enough to watch her interactions with people of color. She provided the pizza making service with a straight face. You would have thought she was playing poker! Very interesting to witness. There must be a huge shortage of everything!! I've never gotten a pizza before with such little cheese and toppings that you literally couldn't tell if there was cheese on the pizzas when you opened the boxes. We essentially got cracker crusts with read sauce on them with our pickup order. I cant recommend this location to anyone. It was absolutely horrible. I'm not sure if it's a new employee or a new policy but this is the second time that they barely put any ingredients you ask for. If you ask for an ingredient they put maybe 4 total pieces of it ON THE WHOLE PIZZA. This is also after my boyfriend had to ask can you put a little more after watching an employee break apart 1 artichoke heart to distribute it over six slices of pizza. Each time I come here for a simple kid friendly Saturday dinner for my grandkids because we are letting. Our daughter and hubby enjoy a night out. Let us start...It takes forever. I usually only see one person in the front to help us... the customers/people who you make money your from and the last three trips the crust is burnt. I tried Blaze for the first time a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. A few things I liked. If you are going out to lunch with a group of friends or coworkers everyone can build their own meal and it is good quality. Your friend going low carb can order a keto friendly crust, the friend who doesn't eat meat can build their own pizza as well and everyone is happy. The only thing tricky about this location is the entry on and off H street. Pulling out of the parking lot depending on the time of day can be really tricky. Overall good quality pizza. read more

Today we went to Blaze to go get pizza "Mariah" has always helped us out and we have been very HAPPY. Today was one of those days where you wish you never woke up. If you like cheese on your pizza skip this place! Blaze started out okay and now it's not good. They do everything they can to not put toppings on your pizza. You can tell the franchise owner is instructing them to cut back. And when they "drizzle" with pesto or olive oil they drown the dang pizza. Not a good deal for the price at all!! Never have had a problem with Blaze in Santa Maria nor ordering on the Blaze App before. However ordered 4 Pizzas and Salad to take to some friends home @ this location. Pizzas where not ready on time. Where made at different times. Was told they didn't have the salad we ordered only after we asked for it, when are order was finally done. The young man at the counter was much more helpful than the girl calling out the orders and cutting the pizzas. Worst customer service I've seen in a restaurant in a long time. The past 2 times we've been in Lompoc, construction was underway at the location of Blaze pizza. When we arrived this week, we were informed that they were open for business. When I first walked in, I realized that Blaze was similar to some other build your own pizza restaurants like Pizza @ and My pi. The difference between the other places vs. Blaze is time. Blaze was EXTREMELY SLOOOOOOW. There were about 10 people in front of us, including those already on the line selecting toppings and it took us about 20-25 minutes to order and get through to the cashier. I've never seen such a bad work flow at a restaurant. At one point the woman who put the sauce and cheese on your pizza had to run back to the dough machine to press out dough for customers as we ordered. I'm going to chalk up SOME of this to the crew managing an ever changing lunch crowd and growing pains. So I ordered a make your own pizza. I asked for the spicy pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella. At first she put on what felt like a pinch of cheese and then asked, "are you satisfied with your cheese?" I'm like, "nope!" She then added a little more cheese and then asked me again if I was satisfied with my cheese. I responded, "Nah, please put some more mozzarella on my pizza please." After the third application of cheese, my pizza resembled what a pizza should look like with a standard amount of cheese. What I received could not be construed as extra cheese and she didn't treat it as such. But I guess not all people want a lot of cheese on their pizza. So I continued through the line and paid for my 6 topping pizza and a chocolate chip cookie and it came to $11. I had to wait about 5-10 minutes for my pizza to come out of the oven. I must admit that the pizza is really good. I got the thin crust. They also have a thicker crust and a gluten free option that costs a couple dollars extra. I think most people will be satisfied with the original thin crust. And the cookie was lick your fingers good. If Blaze can eliminate the production flow issues, they will get a 5 Star rating. For now, I will only go in Blaze if there aren't people in line. I can't roll the dice on getting in and out on a short time schedule. I'll give them another try the next time we are in Lompoc. read more

This is my family's go-to pizza restaurant. Thin and crispy, fresh made pizza dough with all types of toppings! Their side salad options changes every month. And pizzas are cooked in a flash! Their gluten free pizza is crunchier and takes a little longer to cook but it's worth the wait. For non-dairy customers, they have goat cheese as an option. And I love it!
