Carl's Jr. offers some of the best comfort food for any cheat meal in my humble opinion. That said, The Carl's Jr. at the Traffic Circle located at 4511 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90804 also offers some of the best customer service I've ever received. While everyone works incredibly hard to serve their community, I especially want to thank Seriam for all that she does. Any time that I patronize this restaurant, she's professional, courteous, exceptionally hard working, and apparently never in a bad mood. She greets everyone with the same level of enthusiasm, and she goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere should you happen to pick up your order rather than hit up the drive thru. She patiently ensures that you have everything that you ordered should you check the bag in front of her, and she always asks if there's anything else that she can do before you leave. I worked in the food service industry for nearly five years, and I definitely understand how demanding the industry is and how outrageously entitled some patrons can be, but once again, Seriam consistently delivers top quality customer service every single time. I'm not at Carl's often, but when I am I like this location! The associates have always been very warm and friendly and the food truly comes very fast if you enter the drive-thru. I'd recommend downloading the rewards app for promotions; the points add up pretty quickly. Usually I'm a Western Bacon Cheeseburger person, but yesterday I tried the Western Bacon chicken sandwich. Hi girl, mostly during the week and find the place is always clean, the staff is fabulous and extremely accommodating. And my favorite is their breakfast menu. I specifically like the sausage egg and cheese biscuits. I've also enjoyed their breakfast burritos. The pricing is great as far as the sausage egg and cheese biscuits. Can't beat it! And they make the biscuit fresh during the week so you might have to wait for about five minutes which I really don't mind because they come out so beautifully. And I did enjoy their fried fish during lent. I've never had it before and it was quite good. Very crunchy. Used to love McDonald's fish sandwiches, but they have gone way downhill. So much care and attention in making it, also, glad they finally having something good and affordable on the menu like the $5.99 sour dough sandwich. On January 1, I placed and order on the app. I ordered 2 single famous stars no cheese and 1 with no onions, 2 double western bacon cheese burgers, 2 orders of onion rings, 3 shakes and a cheesecake. My order was missing a famous star burger and the cheesecake I ordered was missing. The famous star was not made correctly as I asked for no cheese and no onions. The one famous star that mad it into the bag had both cheese and onions so to me it was basically inedible. I called the restaurant today at 8:16 pm and got a scratchy line. The manager that came on refused her name and I told her what happened (I stated what happened and she insisted that I come right now so she can replace the missing items. I told her that I am not coming back today) and she said that they were a franchise not corporate store when I asked for the corporate number. Then I asked for the franchise owners number and she paused then 10 seconds later she hung up on me. To say the least I was more then livid. I couldn't get customer service on the phone so I sent them an email. I voiced my complaint to them and requested that somebody call me. (I guess you cannot ever expect them to actually pick up a telephone and call you.) After several attempts I sent them the following message. ---------(CKR Case #: 226742)--------- Why can't you just call me like I requested. I hate wasting my time typing. I was wronged by you and your app. I was missing a cheesecake and a famous star. And the famous star that I did get had cheese and onions on it so it was uneatable. So basically it was missing 3 items. I had a horrible experience with the franchise. I call to complain and the wanted me to come right then to replace the items. Was not going to drive down there. Also the telephone was scratchy and I had a hard time understanding the conversation. Also, I asked for the customer service number for the corporate office and was told that it was a franchise and not a corporate store. Then I asked for the number for the franchise owner and caught flack for that. I said I want to call and speak with the owner and the woman manager that I was speaking with just hung up on me. I am really disgusted with the first use of the app and I am really disgusted that I have to do this via email. Carls Jr just has an OK burger. The fries and the jalapeño poppers just doesn't have that amazing taste that I would expect. It doesn't feel fresh and it just doesn't hit the spot for me. The inside is nice and at this location they had cool Halloween decorations as well. I got their original burger and their zucchini burger with waffle fries and jalapeño poppers. Mediocre at best. The thing that made this place stand out in my book was the extremely nice personnel and the fast and prompt service. I hadn't been to a Carl's Jr in years, but I was nearby and starving after the gym as I had no breakfast. Ended up ordering from their 2 for 5.99 menu and all they had was the sausage egg and cheese biscuit and the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich with egg and sausage. Not a fan of sausage, I wolved both down and they were decent. Service was excellent as the employee who took my order was very kind and efficient. The Beyond Famous Star is tasty overall though I wonder how it will taste with Vegan Cheese and Vegan Mayo since I have the meal without either. I don't know if the ketchup has honey in it or not. The tomatoes and onions taste so good alone. The fried are decent. The lady that took my order on this date around 11:00 AM is by far the best staff member I've ever met in any restaurant. Greeted me with enthusiasm as I walked in. I'm disappointed! I always love the side salads at Carl's! However it seems like they've made some changes... they use to give croutons on the side and the salads were always freshly made. I'm 8 months pregnant and was craving a side salad from Carl's sooo bad during my lunch today so I went and picked one up.
