I think they only had two people working. The woman who took our order was super nice but overwhelmed by handling both the drive-thru and the counter. That's why, when I ran out of ketchup halfway through my fries, I waited for minutes by the counter - ketchup in sight only feet away - and finally gave up because my meal was getting colder and there was nobody to help me. They were out of almost everything at the soda machine, even Coke; that's evidence of poor management. The fries were the best part, hot and tasty. The premium burgers were quite good at first, but by the end neither of us were enjoying them. We speculated that it's something to do with how greasy they were. In fairness, I will say that a Carl's Jr. premium burger is A LOT better than any McDonald's effort at a high-end burger. read more

Ordered two bacon/egg/biscuits NO CHEESE. Got home with two biscuits with artificial looking melted yellow cheesy looking stuff all over both. After doing my best to scrape it off, and taking a bite, the egg was cold in the center. After microwaving to warm it, the biscuit left a greasy coating in my mouth. I won't be back. read more

Mom had seen that Angus burger commercial on TV. Took a moment to figure out what she was talking about but I finally did. They were efficient, Burgers looked more like the advertising pictures than most other FF places. The fries were crisp and the portion was ample. As for her Angus Thick burger.. It was enormous to say the least. I am not sure it was worth 9.00 on it's own but she certainly enjoyed it and the few hours it took her to eat it. Yes, it's 2 1/3 pound patties. That's a LOT of meat. I don't think Carl's has a loyalty app but if you sign up for their emails they do send you a coupon for fries and drink when you buy a Western Burger. All in all .. I was craving a beyond burger and I had asked (based off of a previous experience at this specific location) that the patty be made well done. The woman at the window assured me that they cook the patty pretty well done already so then it would just be completely charred if they did it any more well done. When I received my burger it was pink in the middle. This isn't even real beef so how tf is it pink in the middle and that's considered well done? Anyways never again. That was not a six dollar thickburger... Dunno what happened but it looks like the bean counters got hold of the menu. The burger I got, after ordering an original six dollar thickburger was scarcely bigger than the cheeseburger my kids got, just with a double patty....which isn't normal for a six dollar burger anyways. Just went to the drive thru and the cashier was trying to short me my change. At first I was puzzled because he handed me my receipt and change and rushed off. I counted it and it was not proper. Then I questioned him on it and he gave me an attitude, slammed the window and proceeded to argue with me over my change. Finally he got me the correct change and then proceeded to slam the window again while I was in the middle of a sentence. Very disappointing to have to deal with this like it is an inconvenience for him to be stealing from me. Making me beg for my change. read more

I first noticed that they keep the place Chan, which is awesome! Then, there was the service...they take the fast out of fast food. For some reason I always seem to be cursed with cold food at Carl's Jr....this location and the Fort Collins one too. They use decent beef and other ingredients, the portions are good, the flavor combinations are good. All to no avail with a cold burger. Maybe it's because I'm never there during peak hours. Or maybe I'm just spoiled because when I go to Larkburger, Five Guys, or Smashburger, the staff attitude is, "I am here to try and cook you the best burger you've ever had"-- while at Carl's Jr. it seems to be "I'm here because the school counselor lied and said I could get a decent job straight out of high school with just my diploma." read more

After eating at this Carl's Jr, I have lost all hope in my future as a fast food service worker. The place was so clean, it made me feel dirty. So after I stopped looking at the garbage can. I noticed a few other things. Like.... The staff at this location are great. With prompt service, friendly faces, and clean tables. This is how fast food was meant to be! As for the meal. I ordered the chicken tinders combo large. (Size matters not) and received my meal in less than two minutes. (Seriously THE FLASH has better things to do, than get me my food) anyway the chicken was very juicy. And complemented by some honey bbq sauce, let me tell you. I forgot I was in a Carl's Jr. The fries were great as always. And their tea is not of this earth. fresh=Heaven. Over 3 hours=Hell. (Thankfully it was fresh, Or it might have cost them a star.) Go here often on my 30 minute break from a nearby business. Always very friendly customer service. Very fast and efficient! Only wish is that they had some kind of fry sauce for their onion rings.They are good but dry. Burgers are gigantic and full of flavor! Watch out when you pay. I ordered my meal. The guy was acting a little weird. The total was $8.09 I gave him two $5 bills and a dime. He gave me a penny back and acted like he needed to hurry to the back. I stood waiting for my rest of my change but he didn't come back. I told the next girl who came out I needed my change. She had a funny guilty look on her face. Then the manager came. She didn't know where the register key was. Finally the guy came back but couldn't look at me just said "OMG did I forget your change. We went through the drive through tonight and placed a massive order. We were asked if we were willing to wait so they could make fresh chicken strips. The wait time was incredibly short, and the staff was extremely friendly, going above and beyond to make sure our order was correct. Everything was hot and delicious and we got everything we ordered including plenty of sauces. read more

I came to this location with my daughter. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly. The fries could have been hotter, they were only warm and we were one of only 2 families in the restaurant, so you would think they would have been cooked fresh. They tasted really goos anyway. One thing that really impressed me was that the restaurant was super clean. I even asked a girl who was cleaning if she was the manager so that I could compliment her, but she wasn't. This was probably the worst Carl's Jr I have ever been to. I usually like their service, but the service here was ridiculous. I have a gluten allergy so I make sure to order the "low carb" option because Carl's Jr. says it's gluten free (it's a burger wrapped in lettuce, so I'm assume it is). So, my husband and I both ordered the low carb burgers. We went to go sit down and wait for our meal and we can hear the cook saying what an inconvenience it was to make the low carb burgers and how it didn't matter if it was low carb or not we were still going to get fat. One, if I was worried about fat, I would have went to Subway across the way and got a salad. Two, if your job is such an inconvenience, find a new job. He continued to complain about making our food even after it was out to us because it apparently hindered an employee from getting her food faster. Excuse me, but customer's come first, especially when they order first. I left a comment card in the box because I was thoroughly disgusted by the attitude of this employee. He should not have been talking so loud that I could hear him on the complete opposite side of the restaurant, especially when he was in the kitchen. The service was complete butt. The employees were nice but were slower than a turtle and a snail combined. The food tasted fine, but nothing special. The beef was a bit chewy and the cheese smelled interesting. I got the kids combo which said it came with a toy. The toy was a sad excuse for a cup. When I finally built up the courage to ask for assistance, the lady was nice and understanding, offering me a milkshake but all I wanted was my damn food. I also didn't accept it because I knew it would also be a sad excuse for a milkshake. When we were waiting for our food, we were watching the employees to make sure they didn't forget our order. As we were watching, we saw multiple times the same worker who took our order looked at my order and decided to disregard the hungry civilians. In addition, as we were ordering our food, the employee didn't have as much charisma as expected. In addition, the person who ordered behind us got their food buzz light years before us.
