I had been craving a western bacon cheeseburger for weeks. There's a Carl's junior very close to UCI medical center in orange located in the outlet mall there formerly known as the block at orange. Sat down for my western bacon cheeseburger, waffle cut fries, and a drink with my girlfriend who ordered a famous star with onion rings. Ordered and paid at the counter and our food was brought out fairly quickly. Enjoyed our burgers and sides. Topped off our drinks and headed across the city drive to the hospital. Typical fast food, reasonable prices and imo a solid burger that is flame broiled instead of fried. I don't eat many burgers but a western bacon cheeseburger from Carl's junior is a go to when I do. read more

Drove in to parking lot. Placed order on app. Drove straight to drive thru to pick it up.. it was ready within 3 minutes. The speed of fulfilling my order was top notch. Quality was delicious. This site is never busy and it's not surprising given if you are in the restaurant too long or run over to exchange something and come back your car will be towed. Literally towed and your burger cost will then be $400! Good luck too waiting on a curb in the lot (across the street from a jail)waiting for someone to come pick you up to go to the towing place. Not safe at all!! Not only will I not patronize this store again, I will not frequent any other Carl's . Any company that allows a manager to do this doesn't understand anything about customer service and how to be competitive in a market filled with burger choices. read more

Wish I would've read this before trying the drive thru on my break. I literally spent 15 min to be exact. I ended up calling to see if the drive thru was broke. They replied no. It's just busy. I watched what the 2 cars in front of me got -- which first was an average bag of and next was a shake only. Then after getting my bag. I see looks like they may be short staffed or the manager is doing something other than helping. I give benefit of the doubt. Drive by and there's no customers inside or at register. Maybe busy with online or Uber eats. Donno. But was not fast food service today. Hopefully the staff gets more support or they figure a better flow. Couple days ago felt hungry. Went there about 11:30 PM. Ordered their original whatever 8 chicken sandwich couple of six dollar burgers unfortunately food was no good. It seems like when you order late at night they just give you the leftovers you pay almost $30 for three sandwiches and all you get is garbage dog food. No wonder they have a two star rating if this is a corporate store. It should be looked at immediately. Management employees are not doing their job. Will never go back there again. read more

Wow, Who has not been to this Carls junior lol. We stopped by here on my business meeting yesterday in the rain for some food to eat. I ordered a Big Carl with fries and a drink. Right next door to the Outlets Of Orange. Pretty good lunch rush here during the day since we are somewhat in the CBD area. But food was ok and good. Nice group young staff here are helpful in the noon hours. I had no bad experiences. Always a pleasure. read more

STORE # 4 Across from Theo lacy in the mall parking lot The only reason I'm given this Carl's junior one star is because I could not give them at the 0 stars. We order 2 Angus Letus wrapped burgers. Plus a couple other burgers all lettuce wrapped. Thank God we checked our order at the window the boxes were falling apart on the Angus burgers on the other burgers the paper was soaked through. They put the smallest pieces of lettuce on it possible they definitely were not wrapped we ask for money back and they got a attitude. It took him 5 minutes just to give us our money back and then they tried to short change us $10. They gave us 14 back when my brother noticed of a short he said you still owe me $10 it was sitting there on the counter and she's like O. Do not eat at this place. I'm only giving two stars because the cashier and person delivering the food were nice. I had a coupon for a $5 chicken tender meal so I figured I'd try them instead of a burger. It wasn't too busy when I got there but it took 10 minutes for my order to come out. The food wasn't cold but it wasn't hot, room temperature. The fries were alright, standard stuff. But those chicken tenders? Some of the worst I can ever remember having. First off, it was a 5 piece meal but a mini broken piece apparently counted as one piece so really it was 4.5 pieces. The chicken itself was not crispy at all. They were watery and rubbery. It felt like I was eating calamari. Maybe the dipping sauces help? No. I had buffalo and bbq. The buffalo was so watered down it had barely any flavor. The bbq was pretty tasteless as well. How about the drink at least? I had a soda and it was flat. I switched it for their iced tea. Again, barely any flavor. Stick to the burgers I guess. read more

Tasted different and that it was more greasy then other Carls. But I guess not tonight it got confirmed the food at this Carl's jr. Does taste like s*** and it is way more greasier than other Carl's Jr I have no idea why that would be a good question because it shouldn't be! Not the best Carl's Jr. I'm used to not getting a lot of fries when I order crisscut but come on. That's an entire order. So pretty much the employees are eating like a third of your fries. I checked the burger and they did not take any bites out of that which is a plus. read more
