One weird location. But when I was heading to an Angels/Dodgers game and I needed to mask my copious amounts of rum inside of a cup to not get busted by the parking cops, I needed a cup... thus the trip to Carl's Jr. I noticed off the bat that the place was huge for a carl's jr. the whole play center is really a vast majority of the space here. It wasn't very clean when I went in and it was pretty dead. I asked for soda and a burger. I figured I should get something in my system before I get too drunk in a parking lot of a stadium. The burger wasn't very good. Then again, it's Carl's Jr. You're not getting much out of me more than a 4 on a carl's jr. This didn't spark anything more than just half assed fast food with the option for a drink to drink alcohol from. So if you want to hide your booze in a cup and need one before going into a baseball parking lot. This carl's jr. will do a somewhat decent job for it. read more

This place attracts annoying teenagers and the crazies! I've been coming to this particular location for ages and they've always been so nice to me, especially the employees working the graveyard shift. All that I ask with my famous star or western bacon cheeseburger is buttermilk ranch dipping sauce on the side, and lots of it. I'm a condiment queen, sorry about it. Other locations hiss and moan about my "special" request but this one happily delivers. I don't think there has been a visit where they've not thanked me. Besides the great service, this location is one of the biggest Carls Jr. I've seen yet. There is an abundance of seats and the ceiling is super high. The restrooms are yucky but what do you expect from a fast food restaurant? read more

I suppose based on the fact this place is right across the street from a jail should have been a good red flag to know that it's not the best locations to drop by. Stopped by here with a buddy after playing some games at Dave & Buster's, he got himself a teriyaki burger while I decided to have some of those star shaped chicken things, I haven't had them in years. We noticed that the drive thru was pretty slow, but we weren't in a hurry. We noticed the manager roaming around the outside, jokingly saying he's probably looking for us because I ordered the 9 piece chicken star things and only got 6. While my buddy is enjoying his burger I was hesitant to take a bite out of my food, because they were burnt. Maybe the worker thought they should resemble something that broke through the planet's atmosphere since they were stars. I eventually walked back in here to return the food, since the only bite I attempted was spit out the window and I wanted something edible. When we got to the register another customer was having trouble so we took our time. This was when we noticed that the manager didn't even speak English and it was causing too many communication problems. I'm sure the manager Carlos is probably a good guy, I don't want to speak negative about him but he was unable to resolve our problem. The order was made wrong, it wasn't 9 pieces and ended up extra crispy for all the wrong reasons. My buddy even knocked the stars on the counter to prove they were charred beyond being considered food, which other customers found amusing. Well, it turned out the manager was trying to find us because they never even charged us for our orders at all. Problem solved, but I'm not going to this location again after this experience. The lack of communication ruined it, and I was under the impression they were pretending they didn't speak English until they realized we weren't charged for our food. So basically the management sucks, the workers play dumb and it was a complete waste of time for me to order anything from here. It's not a place I'll return to, which is a shame because this is a popular mall to hangout. After waiting over 10 mins at the fiscal drive thru window ALL of our food was handed to us cold.... the cheese was not melted at all and the hamburger meat it self was ice cold after bringing this to their attention and demanding a refund, a gentle man comes over to process the refund never once apologizing or offering a pleasantry of any kind other than an irritated glance because he had to walk over an do his job!!! Get some new workers that understand simple English. Asked if they had a Caesar salad. Worker responds yes. I asked if they had chicken Caesar salad. He also responded yes. This specific Carl's Jr. is in the parking lot of the Outlets at Orange. It also has a Green Burrito indoors. They appear to have some kind of banquet room as well. It looks like a converted indoor playground. The parking signs say that it is specifically for Carl's Jr. customers. It has three fountain drink dispensers. Bar seating has outlets for devices. There are locks and signs on the restrooms that say they are for customers only, so they give me the same opinion that there are no internal restrooms. I mean, it's not like I want to announce to everyone that I have to go to the bathroom. I thought we grew out of that protocol after we exited public school. GPS location is spotty indoors but if one sits next to the window with the fountain drink dispensers on it one might be able to farm items from the BJ's Poké Stop. read more

I don't typically write a review for a fast food place but we had such exceptional service today I needed to share. My family had a minor catastrophe when our dog ran away and was taken by a kind stranger to the OC Animal Shelter. We arrived before it opened so we grabbed some breakfast at Carl's Jr while we waited. The restaurant was immaculately clean and each staff member had a friendly smile. With a family of 6 we had a large order and it all came out very quickly and was hand delivered to our table. One sandwich was missing an ingredient and they kindly offered to make a new sandwich but I asked for just the missing ingredient which the prepared quickly. The manager checked on us and greeted us as we left. It was just above and beyond for a fast food experience and I can highly recommend it during your shopping trip to The Outlets at Orange. read more

Came in at about 9:20am for my lunch break, no line but many customers waiting for food. Took about 6 minutes before a cashier took my order, then an additional 18 minutes to get my food. There was 1 lady making food, yes ONE person making food and 1 cashier handling both walk in and drive thru customers. Hope the manager reads this and think about adding more people on staff. I was sitting in the drive thru with the car in front of me at the window at about 9:45 pm when I noticed 2 guys standing behind my car. When I drove up to the window to pay, the employee at the window, Eddie, looked behind me and saw them but didn't say anything. While I was waiting to get my order, one of them walked up to the window and stood right beside my car window with his back to me while Eddie took his order. Then after he was done the other male walked up and Eddie took his order as well. Then they went on to stand beside my car waiting to get their food. I believe that Carl's Jr should have employees that are at the mere least, responsive, polite and take pride in there work. This was the worst visit I've had at Carl's Jr. and am not happy with the way the employee treated and provided the meal. The burger itself had brown guacamole and was dry. I went to this location via drive thru. The person taking the order from me went silent for about 3 minutes after I responded my size (which was at the end of my order, mind you, that was it, we were done). After the silence, she said in an irrated voice, "are you ready to order now?" and I responded back with my order and stated that I had previously ordered just in case they would take it twice. She just blurted out the total and I drove up to the window to pay. When I arrived at the windown she said the total again, this time in an angry voice as if I said something wrong and then snatched my card. She then stuck her hand out and did not give me my receipt. After this, she just shoved the bag of food out the window, I grabbed it, and she slammed her window again. The worst part was that my burger had brown guacamole and looked like it had been thrown on the floor (it was just tossed like whatever in the boxed container). If the quality of the food was great I think I would look past the employee's shitty attitude. Worst experience ever. Advice: Just drive to another Carl's Jr if you have to. I don't even eat at this restaurant ever let alone, the one time I do to give it a shot I get the asshole employee who thinks the customer is there to be nice to them.
