What a fantastic surprise! We stopped into 5th Ave. Bagelry while visiting Anaheim, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our morning. The staff was exceptional, especially Thaony and Ivan. They were genuinely warm, welcoming, and friendly from the moment we walked in. They made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. Their outstanding customer service and positive attitudes made the experience even better. The bagels were outstanding--fresh, soft on the inside with the perfect chewy texture, and packed with flavor. The whipped cream cheese was equally fresh and delicious. Everything tasted high quality and made with care. It's not often you find a place that combines incredible food with people who truly enjoy taking care of their customers. Thaony and Ivan absolutely made our visit memorable. If you're looking for a great breakfast or coffee stop in Anaheim, don't pass this place up. This place is so good ! I customized my bagel to be an avocado toast . I used the works bread and jalepeno spread . The lemon pepper on top of my avocado tasted amazing . It was basically a party in my mouth with all the amazing flavors . It was toasted and so warm . The chai latte was perfect with great flavor . I am very picky but this place met my standards . Parking 5/5 - plenty of parking as they are located in a strip mall. Service 3/5 - There were 3 employees working and only 2 customers in front of us when we arrived. It took about 15 minutes to get 4 bagels that didn't have cream cheese and were not toasted. I don't understand the process of writing the order on post its versus just bagging them right away. Food 4/5 - The freshness is inconsistent. The first time I went, the bagels were great! This second time they seemed a little stale. While the variety of flavors is nice, I couldn't really taste the difference between some of them. For example the sun dried tomato ones taste like the plain ones. We stay at the Marriott across the street and I stumbled upon this shop a few months ago and I've eaten there and take out and they have not disappointed me. Good hot coffee and big fresh bagels. They're currently in a soft opening, so they're still fine-tuning a few things, but the space is very clean and organized, and the staff is extremely friendly. FINALLY! I've been waiting for this spot to open or any bagel spot to open locally. We arrived around 7 and girl was so patient while my kids and I picked our bagels.
