    Mold on bun.

There was literally mold on the bottom of my bun... tried to call in and get someone on the phone but it doesn't seem like anyone can pick up. It tasted funny when I took my first bites and boom there it was. Make sure to check your food!

Remember how there is a "Crispy chicken sandwich war", @Carl's Jr you definitely do not win!! I couldn't believe how small the chicken was. I wasn't even going to Yelp it because it's fast food but I took two bites and was like the people gotta know! Commercials are always not very close but wow Carl's let's try a little

Super star with cheese, ketchup as the only sauce. The veggies must have been the disappearing kind.

I have come to this location a few times and the food has been decent. I just went today and got some food and drove home with it. Come to realize that it wasn't correct. I figure its wasted time calling and complaining, and it would take me over half hour to get back there due to traffic and another 15 to get back... I ordered a Super Star with cheese and for the sauce only ketchup. I confirmed this with the girl that took my order twice, I just didn't want other sauce. On the receipt it says dry + ketchup. Well i just have meat/cheese/ketchup, nothing else. Thanks for practically nothing i suppose. I wont be back, but for others that go, please check your food before you leave the drive thru.

After I turned to a side where you could actually see the tiny chicken peeking out of the bun.

Although I was very pleased with the friendliness of the employees at the drive through I can't get over my super sad chicken sandwich. I'd been seeing the billboards and advertisements of this big delicious looking sandwich so I decided I had to have it. Well, you got me, hook line and sinker. I was so excited to open the box and at first I thought they forgot the chicken patty entirely. All I saw was bun. After further investigation there was a patty, and small sad overcooked piece of chicken, practically a nugget. The massive amount of mayonnaise could not be overcome and the three little picked were pretty much the only edible part. I have a hard time believing this is what they serve every day. Did I maybe get a reject piece of chicken that they should have thrown out? Are they all really this small? What a let down. The fries were good though, thank goodness otherwise I would have had nothing to eat.

Recently I have been having good luck here. In the past, it got to a point where there was something wrong with my order but that has been improving.

The drive-thru is awkward, the burger had too many onions, the fries were undercooked other than that pretty crappy.

They do not, however they do something called a "fast pass" which basically means they put your name down and if you arrive while there's a wait, you get seated before anyone else who is waiting and does not have a fast pass. Kind of a different approach. I was glad that when we arrived, there wasn't anyone else waiting and there were tables available. Service was very attentive and friendly. He took our drink orders and allowed us some time to decide what to eat. Hubs and I both debated between multiple options- a lot sounded so good- but we both decided on the filet mignon. On the menu, it indicated that the dish comes with a béarnaise sauce; my husband really doesn't care for tarragon so he requested a substitution of their mushroom rosemary sauce instead (which is offered with their ribeye), and they happily obliged. The meal also included Yukon mashed potatoes and veggies. Our food was delivered soon after and I was pleasantly surprised that not only were our steaks still very warm but that they were cooked a perfect medium rare. The quality of the steaks was great, they were nice and thick. The veggies were, for the most part, overdone and a bit soggy, but that's not something that bothers me too much. The potatoes had good flavor but could have used much more milk/cream as they were pretty dry and firm. The experience was a good one and I would definitely return if we lived closer. I liked that their menu had a lot to offer- this is a good place for a family who has various tastes. Shout out to our server, Carver, who was great and provided very good service.

OK, we've been around Placerville for five years and I've never stopped and checked this place out…read more It's kind of hidden and you can definitely walk past it and miss it.. but we stopped by today cause we were craving sandwiches and let me tell you their selection is definitely different but their sandwiches are 15 out of 10. The owner is there working like a badass and he's got such rad staff !! Go get yourself a sando! Caution, though, if you are not somebody who is open-minded with food or a foodie stay away because these sandwiches are different and they're big and they're just amazing

Definitely good for people watching. Got a couple sandwiches: Banh Mi - seeing the list of ingredients I was excited for this one. Never seen a place use lap chung in banh mi. The sandwich itself was kind of underwhelming. First of all, it's not on a French roll. Because of this, the moisture from the slaw soaked the entire bottom bun, making it difficult to eat. Also, the lap chung was slice into small coin sized pieces, rather than lengthwise, which means it all fell out when you tried to eat the sandwich. All the ingredients inside pretty much masked the taste of the sausage so you really didn't get the taste. I didn't get how this was supposed to be a banh mi. Honey Walnut - this was ok. Kind of standard honey walnut. In theory this sounded great but it's a tad rich and needs something to cut through it. There were a ton of other sandwiches and maybe we should've tried others but for the two we got it was just alright.

Yay! Our new favorite lunch place on Main Street!…read more We just stopped by last weekend, we've been wanting to try this place out but it just hadn't happened.... Last Monday we decided to have lunch there, one of our regular places is closed Mondays and this place was open so we checked it out...and we're SO SO glad we did! Atmosphere was nice and server was very friendly from the moment we walked in. First thing I noticed; $5 mimosas!! I asked if they did anything other than orange juice and yes, they had several other options so I had the cranberry version. Delicious! I went with their mac and cheese, my partner got the basic hamburger. Mac and Cheese -- definitely very bacon forward, much more than I prefer. That being said, I still liked it, it also had sour cream and green onion on top. Bacon lovers will LOOOVE this version, there is LOTS of it and every bite you can taste it. Normally I prefer my mac & cheese with no bacon or just a bit here and there, I prefer to taste more of the cheeses.....again, it still tasted good, its a good serving and I ate half and had enough to save for the next day at work. Creamy and well made, again I just prefer to taste more cheese than bacon. I wouldn't order this again but like I said, a bacon lover will LOVE this version. Now, my partner's burger was Incredible. We are PICKY with our burgers, and we both thought this one was fantastic. Big, and great ratio to the bun. He ordered it medium and asked for "a little char" and they made it perfectly. I took a bite and yeah, I'd order that for sure. The fries were great, too. Overall we were super happy with our lunch, I thought it was priced fairly as well. We will definitely be back!!

I'll give 2* because the food (when it came) was great…read more We've been to Franny's a couple times before and had O.K. service and good food. The pitfalls of the restaurant seem to be entirely the service. Most recently we went to Franny's on Mother's Day. We had reservations and walked in, on time. We were initially sat in a nice booth in the front of the restaurant. It was my wife and I plus our 2 kids, the table size seemed appropriate. After being sat, we sat without talking to a server for 10+ minutes, not even getting waters. Eventually, when someone did come, it was a waitress/hostess telling us that there had been a mix up, and we needed to move. We weren't excited on the idea, as we were happy where we were, but we moved to the back of the restaurant. This time we sat for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any wait staff. At this point it is 9:25 and we've been seated for 25 minutes without even water. Finally a waitress comes, and takes our drink order, and our food order as we'd definitely had ample time to look over the menu. About 9:50 the food arrives. My wife and kids' food comes and is great. My food comes and looks off, and the waitress tells me that the kitchen accidentally made me a "veggie" scramble instead of the chorizo that I had ordered, but that she'd get me some bacon and all was well. I asked what was in the veggie scramble and was told it has mushrooms, which is a hard pass for me. She told me she could have what I had actually ordered made but it would "take a long time". I said O.K. - what else was I going to do? Finally it comes, and my wife is done eating, and the kids are close, so, I asked for it to be "boxed up". The waitress rolled her eyes and set to the task. I'm not a restaurant snob - but I really expected an apology or something to be "comp'd" due to the rough experience, but nope, full bill and no apology. Regrettably, despite Franny's being a local joint and having good food, we won't be back.

I love them as a sandwich joint so wanted to try them out for dinners…read more I really enjoyed the burger. Asked for sauce on the side and sauce came on it so BD couldn't have a bite which was fine because I didn't want to share. No chicken wings that night which was a bummer as I really wanted to try it. Pork Chile verde was tender with big chunks. BD said he wished there was more sauce or maybe more sauce taste because if It was saucier it would be sloppy. He enjoyed the chicken mole but I didn't care for it. Wished there was more toppings on the tacos? It was just meat and tortilla. They did give us sour cream and pico on the side. I want the cheese and onion and cilantro and lettuce. But all in all glad we tried it! Wait was a little long as it's made to order and maybe we had a big order before us? While dude (was it Max?) was really polite to us and chick was super helpful too, their interaction was a little weird. It almost seemed like he was a little aggressive with her. Like maybe she was moving too slow? He would tell her in this exasperated way to do something (flip the chicken, get the water et) like he had told her 20 times already but I only heard him ask her once. Then he would turn to us and be super formal. Then turn back to her and rush her to do something else. Then give us our receipt in a quiet and calm manner. So much back and forth I was cool with just waiting outside. I'd come back for the burgers. Would def come back for the sandwich.
