She wanted the buy one get one free famous cheeseburger however, as she cannot have dairy, she requested the order placed without cheese on both hamburgers. The receipt specifically mentions no large American one slice on each of the hamburgers. When I arrived home and sat down to eat, both of them had the large American slice of cheese. Went to Carl's on the evening of 11/30/22 through the drive through and initially placed two separate orders. The guy taking the order Zachery B did a mediocre job at taking our order. He sounded like he was half asleep you could barley hear him asking what we wanted to drink and wasn't even polite about it. I asked him a question and he answered like if it was a great bother to him. We got our order and I asked if I could place a third order that I'd forgotten to order making sure there was no one behind. He straight up sighed and said in a bothered manner said "sure". Three of the burgers we ordered were missing lettuce , tomato and cheese. He was half assing it over all, no wonder this establishment gets so many complaints about the poor service and food. Typical of Tooele. We were just hoping to get lucky by having a decent quick meal but it was a fail. I think that, and not to include maybe 3 others, that restaurants in Tooele are a hit or miss. This was definitely a miss. A simple order of a hot dog, a burger and a coke. Still at the window and the coke was lacking it's flavor. All carbonation. So after requesting another, the server leaves our sight with cup in hand to refill. Maybe trying another station? Should have re-tasted because it was no better. So we leave to a parking spot to consume our food before grocery shopping in the parking lot across the street. I hand my husband his hotdog. No condiments, none were offered. I open my burger. There are times when a cheeseburger sounds good for breakfast. When that occasion arises, I go to Carl's Jr, because the chain offers burgers during opening hours. This particular branch of the Carl's Jr. chain apparently did not get the memo. It's 9:30 AM and beyond my better judgement, I drive through Tooele's Carl's Jr. drive thru and hoped for the best. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Once again I pulled into disappointment land. It was a simple order. A Super Star with Cheese, no sauce and a coke and a bacon and egg biscuit with tots? First there was the burger with no sauce. I got All The Sauce and then some on a burger that was probably cooked last night and thrown in the cooler for the next day. WHY??? I'm saving you a step! Why do I need a quart of ketchup, mayo and mustard on an 8 hour old burger that was more or less nuked in a microwave for one minute so the cheese would melt? I don't even want to talk about the 8 hour old fries that accompanied my burger or what they tried to pass off as coke. What I do want to talk about is the bacon egg and cheese biscuit my wife received. It was more of an egg and cheese on a dried out biscuit with notes of bacon that could only be detected if you tried real hard. It astonishes me that this franchise is still in business. The last time I was here was 4 years ago and nothing has changed. Bad food, mediocre service and you can just throw attention to detail right out the window. On Monday, I'll call the management up and voice my concerns and then call their corporate headquarters to do the same. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Since moving to Utah, it's been a blast hunting for new food areas to eat at. This is the 2nd time I've gone to this Carl's Jr and once again was disappointed. The burger sandwich is not bad at all, reminds me of eating a rodeo burger with no onion rings, potatoe rounds/bacon as a sub with bbq sauce, interesting enough. Then I went to order the finger French toast(5 piece) and looked inside to make sure the dipping syrup sauce was inside. I asked the lady the reason for no syrup, the only reply I got was "I don't have any". Now how do you allow someone to make an order that is incomplete(employee knowing) and then commit to it knowing the possibility of the customer questioning it? This is the 2nd time going to this location and like others, I won't go again. The price doesn't make sense in my opinion to feel disappointed again in the future. I never really liked Carl's Jr in the first place but this was disappointing. The place wasn't very clean and their inventory was non existent. I was trying to find straws but I couldn't. The one star is because the staff member who took our order was friendly. The order was messed up however. It was a very simple order. It was 9:30 am and they were already out of biscuits. Most concerning though was how dirty it was in there! My husband and I wiped down our own table while none of the employees offered to help. The floor was so filthy I was slipping on the grease. There was a "salsa bar" with pico that could not have been fresh. Even the front counter was so very dirty. I lost my appetite ( my husband ate fine though). I go to this resteraunt quite a bit for lunch and in most cases when I get my food the fries are put in sideways and so they end up spilling out everywhere and the burgers or burritos (depends on which one I get) is usually a mess and I end up having to eat the burrito with a fork (although as big as they are and worth the money in taste and amount of food). I gave 3 stars considering the above statement. SERVICE: 3/5 stars (they are super slow at times, even when they are not busy). QUALITY: 3/5 stars (Like stated above, the food is made messy and falls apart and the fries are laid down sideways in the bag when their is pleanty of room to put them in straight up).
