This review is only for the food at the Bonneville brewery. I'm not a drinker and our group of 12 had nothing but waters. The food is exceptional. I had the top sirloin smothered in mushrooms and the beer battered fries; my medium rare steak was cooked to perfection. Service was friendly. Everyone in our party was happy with their entree. The Pizza's are great. They don't have a huge menu, which is awesome because that means what they do - They do very well. Our group ordered a little bit of everything and no one had any complaints. Service was good but slow. The staff is generally very nice; it seems they are staffed appropriately but something is not lining up with just how slow the serine was. There is an awful draft on the first floor even when the door is not open. The last 3 or 4 times we've been here the water and ice taste like bleach, not just overly chlorinated tap water straight bleach. Food quality has tanked over the last few years. Frozen preformed burger patties, steak was like rubber, and Ketchup looked/tasted watered down. They don't bring fry sauce anymore either. Maybe need to ask now? The food was good nothing crazy but not bad. A couple mistakes with our orders. we were a large group and i get the logistics of bringing food out for large parties but some people were fully done their meals before others got delivered. And lastly, our server was pretty good at managing and checking on our group. There was one lady that I assume was the manager (I'm not dropping names) who was micromanaging every server in the building and extremely harsh to them and kinda put off ish to our group. Learned they'll serve food at bar as well as floor. We opted for bar as seating looked substantial. 3 big tvs with variety of sports. They have lots of beers on tap. I asked about a "flight" no, but they offered to let me sample any. I just ordered an amber (Antelope Amber) as menu said it "award winning". I liked it very much. Tried a sample of their Peach Wheat and not so much. But each to their own. We started with deep fried cheese balls, very tasty but needed more sauce. I don't think this place has enough good reviews. I searched for a place to have a Fathers Day meal since we came from out of State. There are not enough restaurants in Tooele already and the reviews were just mid. We came with our family by chance, just in case the reviews might be wrong. There were not many people there when we arrived so we were a little concerned. However, our server, she was excellent! She was friendly and accommodating. Our food came out warm and quickly. We ordered pizza, steak, burgers, and chicken strips/fries for our kids. Everything was so good! My ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium. The burgers came with a yummy seeded bun and the garlic fries were our favorite. We were not there for the alcohol but we tried the lemonades and they were good. We left well fed, thank you! This is a place that has some huge potential. Lots of space inside, upstairs and ground floor and is quite nice inside. It reminds me a bit of some of the brew pubs in Salt Lake, though this place also seems somewhat fonder of itself than those do/did. It seems somewhat tongue in cheek, so probably all in good fun. I went with the fish and chips, since those were maybe the best in existence, according to the menu. Such a grand claim would be several steps beyond what I'm willing to say, but they were fine, if quite rich. In fact, that's where I'd put the entire thing (outside of them charging me extra for a side of sauce after I specifically had them hold the tartar a practice I find innately annoying, but whatever) overall as at that okayish level. If I lived closer, I'd probably opt for sampling some of their beers and maybe dig into the menu a bit more, so take this rating as a placeholder, if I get the chance to wander by again. read more

So we recently moved to Tooele, while looking for homes we found this place. The food was amazing Beer is excellent. They had a great selection of food. This became short lived we did move out here and frequented them a lot, the more we came the more they where out of, not they have changed the menu. Nearly half the selection is gone, side salad is $6 with your plain steak and fries no baked potato. we quit ordering appetizers as most times they are still frozen when you get them. There are nice views from the upper patio that has fire tables to keep you comfortable on cool nights. The food is very good and their beers are delicious. I know better. I read the reviews and thought maybe this place had taken customer reviews and input and made improvements. Nope. It is terrible. First- it is a brewery. If you have brewery in your name good beer is a must. We tried 3 beers and they were all absolutely terrible. My boyfriend took a few drinks of his and didn't drink anymore. Our server was really nice and offered me a sample before I decided what I wanted. I wanted a hazy ipa but he said theirs didn't taste like a hazy and said he could get me a sample. He brought it to the table and I took one sip and was immediately repulsed. It was flat, not hazy, and had a bizarre aftertaste. He took the shot glass sized sample away. He commented that there might be something wrong with it. Fast forward to the bill. He charged me 50 cents for it! Wtf? I have never had someone offer a sample and then charge me for it! Our food was decent. The burgers, garlic fries, and pretzel appetizer were good. Not out of this world but good. My daughters Mac n cheese was borderline cold. We asked for some ranch for our fries and were told there would be a charge. Again wtf. I'm paying 14 for a burger and I can't have some sauce? There was only one server working the restaurant. There were only 5 tables and he handled them well. But for a weekend evening at 6 ... the place being nearly empty....that should have told us something. Skip this place and continue on j to Salt Lake City. This place has delicious food! The hostess was so sweet! I went in this evening to pick up dinner. The hostess was such a sweet young lady with great customer service. My husband wanted me to pick up some beer for him to have when he got home from work. I was told to go upstairs to purchase the beer. As I reached the top stairs and was seen by the server absolute no salutation and I was at the bar waiting for service. A gentleman that was behind me, sat down and was provided service immediately, the bar tender not once acknowledged me standing there waiting for service. The bartender serviced the gentleman his beer and was having an on going conversation and there I stood waiting on service. After waiting more that 10 minutes I went down stairs to ask for the manager. The manager was sitting in the dining room with a group of people , she was called and I explained what happened. The manager called the server from upstairs to ask what happened. The server told the Manager that I was on the phone and that's why they didn't acknowledge me. Come on regardless if I was holding up my phone should not be used as an excuse for not acknowledging me or provide me with a salutation or service that's called respect and customer service. We had the fish and chips and you could taste the Heinz tartar sauce for two days! I am assuming they added extra garlic to compensate. Both times the waitresses were rude to our party and did not even greet our table, after making us sit there for twenty minutes with no check ins, the grumpy waitress came over and told us we had to leave due to not accepting a legitimate government temporary ID. For a local restaurant in Tooele they have pretty good food. It is one of the only places that serves liquor in Tooele so that's a benefit.

As most the other posts indicated the food is quite underwhelming. We had parts of peoples food not come out. People that came in later got food before ours. Chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken was not crispy at all, the 'Buffalo wings' were chicken strips with Buffalo sauce. Really hoped for more. read more

It was beautiful outside, so we wanted to sit on the patio, but we were told no server's for the patio today, due to staffing problems. The bartender explained that they can't find people to hire. (Ironically as we were leaving, a young lady came into apply for a job, but was turned away, because they didn't have any applications! OMG! Who's the manager!) I ordered the Turkey melt, it was blah and my tomato was green. The Bartender (can't remember her name) was great, but stretched thin, as it was a little hectic for one person. I almost fell on my ass retrieving another round of drinks, because the "the bar leaks". (Hope they have good insurance!). Seriously, I only had 1 beer! 3 stars for the hardworking bartender! Zero stars for food, cleanliness and lack of management. You only have 2 choices for "slunch" in Tooele, this place or Applebee's. Even after today, I would go here. This bar is a two level building with a restaurant downstairs and a bar upstairs. It has a large open space in the middle where you can watch sports from both levels. I really liked the fried mac and cheese balls and the pretzel. The mac and cheese balls were thick and creamy on the inside and barely held together. I was less than enthusiastic about the fries. This is where most bars really excel with a double battered pub fry or similar offering, but these tasted like they had them under a heat lamp for an hour before serving them. Tooele has zero sit down restaurants other than this one as far as I know, so there isn't much to compare it to other than middle grade places where you order at a counter and fast food. Our server was absolutely hilarious which made the experience fun, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. The restaurant itself is big and open which was a cool feature. The reviews seem a bit harsh, considering the area where this place is located. If you want something better than fast food or want a beer and find yourself in Bonneville is really the only place to go. read more
