This place is a complete joke. Came in to watch the UFC fight, not causing any issues, not even drinking -- just had a water bottle. Everything was fine until a server decided to yell across the entire bar that it was "illegal" for me to have it. Not "against policy"... not "we don't allow outside drinks"... she specifically said "illegal." That is 100% false. There is no Utah law that makes having a water bottle in a bar illegal. Instead of handling it like a normal person, she made a scene, embarrassed us in front of the whole bar, and escalated it for absolutely no reason. I immediately said I'd throw it away, but that wasn't enough -- she kept pushing it. When we asked for a different server after being treated like that, we got kicked out. Then comes the best part. When I asked about a manager, I was told the owner had been called and that he laughed and told us to leave a review. And sure enough -- the owner responds (see photos) saying they would "refill my water bottle" or provide one for free. So let's get this straight: Your staff says it's "illegal," makes a scene, and kicks customers out over it... but now it's something you offer? That's not a policy -- that's incompetence. This wasn't about rules. This was about staff making things up, escalating it, and management backing it instead of taking any responsibility. If your employees are going to throw around the word "illegal" like that, at least make sure they know what they're talking about. Service was terrible on top of it -- long waits just to be acknowledged, slow everything, and zero follow-up. Between the misinformation, the attitude, and the owner doubling down instead of fixing it, this place is run poorly from top to bottom. Save your time and money. There are plenty of bars that know how to act professional. This isn't one of them. read more

The atmosphere is a lot like Buffalo Wild Wings with TVs everywhere. This would definitely be the place to watch a big game! The food was pretty good. I had a the club sandwich with fries and it was very filling! The service was good as well. Our waitress kept checking to make sure we had everything we needed. The food came out in a good time considering how busy they were. I'll go back and try another food option because I like to explore various foods. read more

Ordered a to go order and it was ready on the target time. Grilled blackened chicken sandwich was tasty but a bit dry. Fried chicken sandwich was bulky but moist. Monte Cristo was tasty but more like a donut (as expected). Fries were delicious and the fry sauce was very good. Wouldnt mind coming back to watch some games! read more

Came in for a lunch date with my girls and got greeted with a smile right away by the amazing ladies working the bar and got to sit wherever. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chill, perfect lunchtime vibes. I ordered the fruity pebble cocktail and it was the perfect refresher. The hat trick was shrimp, steak, and grilled chicken on skewers with fries and all the delicious side sauces. Can't wait to come back for more. read more

Townies man. They're the only ones that can complain about an establishment like this. This is my second time here in the last 5 weeks and I don't get the hate...oh yeah...townies. The staff has always been polite, attentive and fast. Im always a sucker for pub pizza and this place doesn't disappoint. If you're complaining about the food, I've probably seen your vehicle in line at McDonalds. For a larger pub in a small town, it's unassuming, it's quiet, it's a fine place to either go with friends or fly solo and watch a game. If you have the feel the need to be the center of attention and complain about the prices, then by all means, go to the Corner Pocket, The Venus, Broadway or that bar that couldn't be rescued by television. I am rating management. They consistently understaff this location. The servers were working both sides and making their own drinks. Our server was hustling, jogging back and forth. We asked if staff called off and we were told no. This is a poor way to run a business. Also, on St Patrick's Day they ran out of corn beef and cabbage by 6pm! On the good side my Philly sandwich was tasty, and my husband enjoyed his garlic burger. read more

I'll start by saying we went on a Friday night. So it was very busy. This is a new location with startup flaws. I'm struggling with giving a better review. I want to love this location like others around the area. Firsts the food was outstanding I got the Monte Cristo I had never hat this sandwich, it was amazing! The food came out hot and delicious. Service was very friendly, they came by often to check on us. And apologize for the food taking so long. And that leads us to the missing 2 stars... Our food took 2 hours. And apparently we sat in the smoking section, be aware if you sit outside on a nice summer evening be prepared to share the space with smokers. I smoke on occasion so that's not the problem. It just isn't pleasant when you're eating. I enjoyed Bout Time I will be back however, I hope they get things figured out quickly with this new location. read more

I ate one quarter of the hamburger grilled cheese nightmare. The bread was aweful. I don't think the cheese was real. I brought it back to the room, ate the meat and threw it and the fries away. On top of that the owner is a thief. I ordered bourbon on the rocks and it is the shortest shots I have ever seen in my 66 years and I was in the bar business 30 years. DO NOT ORDER LIQUOR. YOU WILL GET ROBBED. Try a beer like the locals.? One great thing are the 50 or so big flat screen tvs. The blond bartender is hot and nice. read more

1st to this Bout Time and we are impressed with the Food and the Service and not to mention the atmosphere.

FREE bingo night = let's guilt trip and make people pay tons of $$$$. Our server stopped helping us and chose not to serve us since we just wanted some sodas. Constantly got the death glare. The Bout Time in Tooele refuses to serve foreigners. My 40yo brother presented his original foreign passport as proof of ID but server said only US Citizens or with valid U.S. ID or drivers license. DMV does not issue US ID for tourists, so it looks like foreigners not welcome. So sad, it was my top place to go in my new town :( read more

If yall think two burgers and two appetizers are worth $60, you're crazy. Burgers were well over cooked and had zero flavor. Just like most place I have found up here instead of actually seasoning the food it is masked by some sort of sauce that throws everything off.
