Pros: Tasty food, no tipping Cons: Overpriced food, shrinking soda sizes. very little human interaction, expensive kids meals. Let me start by saying I eat a lot of fast food. As far as food goes, Carl's Jr. has some of the tastiest food by a major chain. I stopped being a regular there in 2019 because of the horrible Musak played in the dining room. Every now and then I will give them another chance. I went 2 times in the summer of 2024 and I upgrade to zucchini and both times I was given 1 ranch dressing. When I ran out halfway through and asked for more I was told it's $.17. Both times I argued that I would have to charge it and their processing fees are probably more than $.17 but the employees don't have a choice I guess. I like to dine in because the sodas have shrunk to a medium now being the size of a small and refill are still free., but it wouldn't surprise me if they start charging for refills. Today I went through the drive thru and they have replaced people with AI. From reading reviews it sounds like they have started forcing customers to use kiosks inside. The only positive thing is that the food was very good. The fries were fresh and crispy and the burger was perfect. This is probably due to the fact that the drive thru and parking lot were empty even though I was was there at 11:45am on a Tuesday afternoon. For a family of 4 it's less expensive to eat at a chain restaurant with table service (not including tip). The problem was that I paid over $16 with no upgrades in size or extra sauces. That is for a double western, med fry and a med coke (21 oz). Kids meals are around $8 and come with a cookie but no toy. For younger people who don't remember. Carl's Jr. came up with the $6 burger. The idea was that it was a restaurant quality 1/3 lb angus burger that would cost $6 in a restaurant but they sold it for under $4. and I'm pretty sure Carl's Jr. was the first place to start bringing your order to the table. I totally understand that the increase in minimum wage for fast food workers and inflation has caused large chains / franchises to find ways to cut expenses and everyone has had to raise prices, but it's getting ridiculous. By nickel and diming "fans" Carl's Jr. is putting themselves out of business. read more

BEWARE when ordering specials on posters advertised on windows on the restaurant! I ordered the breakfast sandwich "Two for $6" deal in the drive thru. When I looked at my receipt, the price charged was $9.50. I went into the restaurant and inquired as to why I wasn't given the correct price. The shift managers response was, "You have to ask for that price" Seriously! This is deceptive advertising. Ask for the price advertised on the poster? You don't have to ask for the price on the poster at any other fast food joint, or Ralph's, etc. Needless to say, I returned the food and had them refund my card. Extra crispy tots. Mel took excellent care of us . Everything came out together, nice and hot with all the condiments. On the way out the manager thanked us for visiting. Food was okay. I met Carl Karcher when I was a kid, my dad helped him secure locations when he was just getting started. Carl would be devastated by service we received today. Was forced by employee with a major attitude to use the service kiosk. This was not a user friendly menu. When seeing options for the burger it was difficult to determine if they were add to the burger or if they were already on the burger. When I asked to just give her my order she just said if I was using a card I said yes she came over to the kiosk (like I was putting her out) and asked what I wanted. I asked for the double famous star and she input the double western burger and then said combo? I pointed out her error and she had to restart the order. I order something else for my daughter with a fountain drink and she gave us a milk! As if she not only didn't care and didn't hear me. This location used to be much better. She brought the food out with an attitude and disappeared before I could ask for ketchup. So I left my daughter at the table so I could go to the counter and ask for ketchup. Before they used take my order and ask if I needed ketchup. What happened to customer service. While eating in another customer came in and she too was forced to use the kiosk. You have created a non human approach to an industry that relies on service. As much as I prefer Carl's Jr because of the burgers I will now go to Burger King without the kiosk and the bully behind the counter. I am really sorry to see this restaurant take a nose dive. DON'T ORDER THE LEMONADE! If you order a lemonade here and ask for light ice, you'll receive a cup that's shorter than an iphone with 2 full scoops of ice. Your cup will appear to have 80-90% ice cubes, and filling in the crevices, you'll find so little lemonade that you'll wonder why you paid more than $3.00. When your disappointment is overflowing more than the cup is with ice cubes, you'll learn that there are no refills. P.S. I've eaten the Southwest Chicken Sandwich for 30 years. In the last ten years, I've noticed that burgers are presented like a king, nicely assembled, not squashed, not poorly loaded. Oh well. These workers are the most incompetent workers I've ever experienced in a fast food chain. First of all, their number goes straight to a fax machine, so there's absolutely no way of contacting the store. Secondly, everywhere online says this location allows takeout, even their signs say the lobby is open until 10pm most days. Carl's Jr. makes me so happy !! They must inject theirs charbroiled burgers with crack, I can't get enough. I'm so full, I had the Low Carb 1/3 Thick Burger Meal, and my husband had the #2 Super Star with Cheese Meal. We substituted our drinks for 2 Hand Scooped Chocolate Milkshakes and added a order of Jalapeño Poppers to share . They without a doubt have the best cheeseburgers you can get from a drive through window. It's expensive, however, you get what you pay for. Always nice employees at this location, they hooked me up with the extra dipping sauces and ketchup I requested. So extremely satisfying. Our order was made to order, hot and fresh. I placed my order and they got it incorrect (no cheese), I took it back and the shift leader whispered under his breath "they never told me that" as he threw the sandwich.
