I've always loved coming here throughout the years! They've definitely expanded their seating areas inside and out too. Any staff member you can run into is kind, welcoming, and attentive. They really offer a variety of options and focus on a vegan menu. As someone with dietary restrictions, Milk Organics really makes ordering easy and I love that they know the best alternatives to making favorites, whether baked goods or drinks or etc. During my most recent visit my husband and I each had a bagel, one with cream cheese and one with vegan cream cheese. We both greatly enjoyed our bagels and watermelon too! The bagels were so fresh. He had an Ube latte and I had the blueberry latte. His Ube latte was not sweetened and he did not love it, but the Ube flavor was true. My blueberry latte was good for the latte itself but I could not taste any blueberry unfortunately. Ordered the 'Canadian bacon' croissant sandwich , I don't know if it was the sauce or croissant but it was a weird flavor of sweetness and mustard. Didn't go well together. Also got the sausage bagel sandwich and it was cold and the sausage wasn't good at all. My aunt got the açaí smoothie & she didn't like it. Both our stomachs hurt after for awhile. On the bright side I really enjoyed the chocolate Boston crème donut, so I think that's the only thing I would recommend & come back for if I were in the area. I stopped in to Milk Organics for the first time a few days ago. I tried the Green Goddess sandwich with real cheese. It was great, I didn't miss the meat at all! I also didn't miss the gluten in the GF sourdough bread. It had the authentic sourdough flavor and I liked that the bread was cut on the thin side but thick enough to give the sandwich structure. They have a good size dining room, bright and pleasant. Service was friendly and prompt. I always get my bowls with a bit of honey as I like it a bit sweet! The portion sizes are large! And each bowl is about 11-13$. The shop is a bit small, but they are relatively quick - especially when you order online. A lot of the reviews mention long wait times, but I have not experienced this even during normal lunch hours. I've been out within 2 mins every time! The first time arrived 9 minutes before closing just for a smoothie. We were turned away as the lady said "We're about to close"... So, apparently they stop taking business before closing time. Eventually got there in the middle of their business day (on my lunch break), and the lady making our acai bowl kept pausing from working to converse each time the cashier lady went towards the back. It was disappointing that this happened several times when I needed to get back to work.. I was also displeased that they direct you to go online when you ask for a menu. I didn't have my phone on me so they handed me a menu they said is outdated and it had black markings all over it with the updates.. The place also doesn't seem to be dusted as there are cobwebs in the corner of the entryway to the dining area and on the shelf in the main area. It was also uncomfortable that the cashier lady kept staring at me when taking others' orders, as I sat on the couch waiting for my order. For these many reasons, I'll not be returning. Stopped going to Everbowl because of this place - it's all natural and not packed with extra sugar. The Vanilla Vegan donut is a total splurge, and absolutely worth it, you can't even tell that it's vegan! Just moved to Vista and was looking for some vegan breakfast options. It's in the downtown area tucked off to the side. Nice ambience, large open space with a good amount of seating for a cafe. The baristas were very friendly and they menu was quite large. Everything is vegan by default but they have real turkey and bacon if you want to swap it out. I got the blueberry latte and vegan breakfast croissant sandwich. It was hands down the best vegan breakfast sandwich I've ever had! 10/10 would recommend. We have been meaning to try this spot since it opened and we just finally made it over today (and we are kicking ourselves that we've been missing this amazingness for that long)! I ordered The Dylan and the hubby got the Loaded Acia Bowl. Both were DELISH! Normally I would have ordered a Pitaya Bowl, but we were getting ice cream later so I wanted a sandwich (so a Pitaya bowl will be what I try next). We arrived a little after 1pm on Saturday and although there were a couple groups waiting for their orders ahead of us, everything came out super quickly. The food, like I mentioned was AMAZEBALLS! It is hard to find good vegan cheese that melts well so I wasn't sure how the loaded grilled cheese would be, but I give it two thumbs up! I probably could have done without the fake meat and with more avocado, but that's just me. Love that we are getting more veggie options in the area! And scrum-didily-umptious ones to boot!
