    breakfast sando (vegan)
    Abeeha H.

Got the breakfast sando here after a morning of yoga and relaxation and this sandwich hit the spot! As someone who isn't vegan, I get sus of vegan substitutes but the vegan option for the sandwich was great !!! The egg was delicious and I could still ask for regular cheese which was nice. Parking in this area can be tough depending on the time and make sure to come earlier if you want their pastries!

What a great establishment to visit on our trip. We're from Orange County staying in Vista. Waking up in our Airbnb with major questions, wondering what we're going to eat for breakfast, will we like it, is there a place that shares the same mindfulness with food?? Milk Organics fulfilled our morning needs. We ordered: Rocky road donut Breakfast Sando PB Toast Sweet N Spicy Toast Iced Matcha Latte Iced Mocha The favorite was the Sweet N Spicy toast! After each bite we kept wanting one more. Somehow they brought this combination of flavors on a grilled sourdough bread topped with their house-made vegan cashew cream cheese, fig/mango jam, sriracha, cucumber, chipotle honey and basil. The iced mocha was a true mocha flavor of goodness. The seating area was very inviting. Loved the wall art and decor. The natural plants brought the entire space together of a beautiful space to enjoy our food and time. (4.19.25)

I visited during a little weekend in Vista and was not disappointed. I was impressed with their food as it was delicious and gluten friendly/vegan friendly. I tried the: * Rocky Road Donut - the bread is delicious and doesn't seem fried, rather super fluffy baked * PB Toast - the gluten free sourdough is delicious * Breakfast Sando - so many flavors, delectable. When we walked in, I was impressed by the size of this place. There's a lot of room to sit and enjoy your drinks/food. Regarding service, the employee that helped us was diligent in making sure to understand the nuances of our order. They asked which option we wanted (example: honey or agave). Super cool

This was a cute spot. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They have a nice area to sit and enjoy your beverage or food item. Yummy smoothies. I'd definitely be back

This place is quite the hidden gem! Love trying out new places, especially healthy places & Milk Organics did not disappoint! All the staff working were super friendly & welcoming. I had the Sweet n Spicy toast & the Caprese panini, both hit the spot. Also had a hot ube latte & some vegan cookies, soooo good. Would definitely be back! Thanks everyone for the great food & vibes!

Would not recommend the sausage bagel

Oofff hurts my heart not to like a vegan restaurant. Ordered the 'Canadian bacon' croissant sandwich , I don't know if it was the sauce or croissant but it was a weird flavor of sweetness and mustard. Didn't go well together. Also got the sausage bagel sandwich and it was cold and the sausage wasn't good at all. My aunt got the açaí smoothie & she didn't like it. Both our stomachs hurt after for awhile. On the bright side I really enjoyed the chocolate Boston crème donut, so I think that's the only thing I would recommend & come back for if I were in the area. The restaurant itself is super cute and great place to study or work. Cashier was super friendly.

Found this little gem on yelp and love it. We've been twice. We got the Green goddess vegetarian sandwich and the peanut butter smoothie. Both were so delicious and fresh. L8ve thw datea in the smoothie. Everything they use is organic and gluten free. I also got the Mocha latte and it was so good, not too sweet. The previous time we got the avocado toast with honey. Loved it, but it did become too sweet after a while. Would do it again without the honey, or the honey on the side. Service is quick. You order at the counter and scan the menu. Lots of seating inside. Two small tables outside.

I love this place. The food has been great every time, the smoothies are wonderful, and the servers have been very nice. There's indoor and outdoor seating. It's on a nice street with walkable shops. All the food is super fresh and the merch section is great. What you gotta know- it's gonna be loud when they're running the blender. It's a small kitchen, don't come here when you're in a rush. And just because you don't see a lot of customers doesn't mean they're slow. I've watched them stack up a lot of to go orders.

I stopped by real quick to finish up my work day and loved the cute caffe decor! The sandwich I got was a seasonal one inspired by a thanksgiving dinner, so good!

    Donut!

I love this place. The donuts, kombucha, sandwiches, avocado toast are all delicious. I just wish they were open like an hour earlier on Saturday- i am already half way to lunch by 9am.

The pastries are definitely on the higher-priced side and we weren't too hungry, so we opted for the strawberry croissant since it was the last one left. I was hoping to try their cinnamon roll, as it looked amazing and had a selection of flavors to pick from. The lady who helped us was friendly and packed the croissant for me, and we took it to go. The strawberry croissant had some vanilla cream along with strawberry slices in the center cut of the croissant. The cream was nice, light, and not overly sweet, which tasted great with the strawberry. The croissant was a little disappointing, as it wasn't flaky, very dense, and on the softer side. It still had a good buttery flavor but overall it was mid. As we continued eating, I ended up chewing on something plasticky, and I believe it might have been the front cut of a plastic piping bag. I'm glad it was a fairly small piece or else I probably would have swallowed it...It is disappointing that a big piece of plastic ended up in the cream where no one had caught it during the process of making it.

There is a religious or communal aspect behind The Yellow Deli, and I do not claim to know or understand all of it, nor do I need to. What I do love and admire is the home grown, homemade, back to nature feel of their community and how much of that care and love clearly shows up in the food, the space, and the overall experience. To my surprise Water Shack's burgers were delicious and satisfying that I find myself coming back here ever so often. Their burgers aren't the heavy, greasy/high fat patties you would get from other places. However, their 1/4 lb patties are their smallest patties and heft makes for that ideal bun to burger ratio. Did I need to order double patties on most of my burger orders? Probably not. Their patties are on the leaner side but they aren't dry; and the fixings from any burger you choose will satisfy that meaty burger fix you're looking for. The Chicken Patty Melt is also a very tasty item. Very cheesy, buttery and crispy toasted bread with chicken breast. Their fries and onion rings also come air-fried so this place focuses more on the healthier comfort food options that wont leave you feeling heavy and drowsy. This place is also doubled as a purified water dispensary and also serves baked goods and ice cream. At about 11:20 the cashier woman came to our table with our original receipt and showed us the time stamp on the receipt and said, "I told you you can only be here for about an hour, this is not the kind of cafe where you can sit and work all day." I said, "It's only 11:20, it's not even lunch time, we planned on ordering lunch here as well." She just walked away and said nothing. We should have left but we were in the middle of working.
