I have lived a few blocks from this location for 19 years now. One of my main complaints in my previous review from 2017 was that they NEVER serve a burger with a hot beef patty. It is always lukewarm at best if not pretty much room temperature. Well, 8 years after that review it still remains true. YOU WILL NEVER GET A HOT BEEF PATTY ON YOUR BURGER FROM THIS CARL'S JR. It was really hard to understand the woman on the other end of the mic. I had to practically yell for her understand me, but she wasn't willing to talk louder. She also gave me attitude when I asked her to repeat something. Food came fast, but they marked the burgers wrong. We got one with jalapenos and one without (due to dietary restrictions). They marked the wrong one spicy and it's a good thing we double checked. If I had eaten the burger with the jalapenos, I could end up in the hospital due to medical issues. The worst experience I've had. Mind you this drive thru was a ghost town this afternoon. Asked for one second to look at the menu and then was completely ignored. After multiple attempts at getting their attention I pull up to the window. Finally I got someone's attention, a kid who said "well then maybe you should know what you want before you get here". It's Sunday morning and they're supposed to be open at 7am. I came by with my daughter at 7:30 and we could see a worker inside who ran to the back when we pulled up to the drive thru. We waited almost 10 minutes and they never came back up to assist us. Have been in this area for some years now and have to say this place has completely gone to crap!!! Very understaffed which makes the wait a complete waste of time. A couple weeks back I literally waited in the drive thru for over thirty minutes! Went back again and received one small piece of meat on my taco salad. Not sure why, but decided to give it another try today and again WHAT A JOKE!!! As you can see they couldn't even get the sour cream on top of the food itself, no excuse as they weren't even busy. Ordered a two piece chicken tender kids meal, and instead of milk I got a kids drink for an extra .80 ... that they don't even tell you about. They very well could've suggested to get a three piece chicken tender meal for five dollars instead of overcharging me almost a dollar. Fries were cold. Won't be back. The drive-up staff need to be a little more attentive and friendly. The was a cold front coming from the speaker that made the inside of the vehicle my own little igloo in mid 90s temperature. The worker handing me my order wasn't any warmer. A sense of disillusionment overcame me right before driving off. No wonder the alcohol in this state is so controlled. Things like this would turn anyone into an alchy! I cannot stress enough to check your order thoroughly. My fried zucchini had zero dipping sauce and the rest was kind of the same. The bacon in my burger was questionable and I had to omit it altogether. It tasted more like cheap and fatty ham than the delishiz slice of life longevity it's supposed to be. I didn't see the reviews before I ate here today, but its rating was consistent with what I felt it deserved - a big fat greasy sloppy cheapass ONE. The wait for the food felt excessive, with employees just standing around playing on their phones, all the while my food is taking much longer that I think it deserved. When we got the food, it was... "eh." I mean, the food wasn't cold, but it lacked the WOW factor for me. I honestly felt that #IHOB (IHOP) would've kicked their ass in burger making today. I did think the burger was better than. McDonald's, but I feel it's sad when I instantly have to compare the quality of a Carl's Jr. burger to a substandard place such as McDonald's. After finding out that the place we wanted to eat at had a twenty minute wait we decided to swing by here. We should have just gone home for a pbj. The place was empty so we thought we might get faster service. First off the woman up front was taking drive through orders and totally ignored us for five minutes. When she finally took our order it was broken English and it took forever to get the order right. Then we sat and waited LITERALLY fifteen minutes for our food to come out. I sat and watched as the people behind the counter stood and played on their phones, talked to each other and did nothing about getting orders out. They put our food on a tray and left it sitting out for at least ten minutes while the teenager up front took orders for guests walking in. Meanwhile our food wasn't even under a heat lamp and proceeded to get cold and inedible. Once we finally went up to the counter to see what was going on, they filled two boxes full of cold fries and didn't say a word. The food was hard cold greasy and nearly inedible. The tables were dirty tacky, and gross. The attitude of everyone in the store was "I don't really care about being here" and did literally not even the bare minimum to serve their gusts. Every single time we come here it's a hella long wait , we sit at the box waiting to order for TEN minutes before someone even comes to take our order or even acknowledge us, then when we get to the window it's another 10 or so minutes before they take our money then another long wait until our food gets to us . It's fast food, so I'm not sure what to expect. The service is slow nobody looks particularly thrilled to be there and they gave me the wrong change. However they do have diet dr Pepper.The soda is my sole purpose in going. There aren't too many places that serve died Dr Pepper therefore I go out of my way to find it. Side note they charged twice as much as McDonald's large it is a little bigger but I'm not sure it's worth twice as much. read more

The drive thru service is hit or miss. I generally go here once or twice a week. There are a few ladies that work the drive thru that are friendly as ever. Other times it's hectic and not friendly at all. My orders are usually accurate and I good food more often than not. Unfortunately they put way too much ice in their drinks. My husband went by this stores drive through waited a long line only to be told that everything we wanted to order was out. They had no burger patties(almost their whole menu) and no chicken stars. When my husband asked to speak to a manager to see what was going on a woman named Alicia said that it wasn't her fault and there was nothing she could do about it and proceeded to insinuate my husband was being aggressive he was annoyed (but never raised his voice) because he had been waiting about 15 min in line to be told nothing was in stock. She then proceeded to imply that might husband might "do something" by having her employees "protect her" from him lol. I called to speak to her to which she said that she didn't remember speaking to him and that all her customers think she is "a good person". She went on to imply that maybe it was someone trying to impersonate her even though she had a very distinct voice and accent and she told me she was the only ALICIA at the store. Very poor management and if you try to get it fixed be prepared to be told to call corporate and then get absolutely no help because all they have is a voicemail where they never reach you back. Manager Alicia is very childish and will not take responsibility and will blame her employees for her actions , I feel bad for her employees. So we go in and order two bacon egg and cheese biscuits and right after they say they are out of eggs so we think oh good we got the last of them but NO three people after us got their orders and then we go up and the lady is like oh we have no eggs. So we ask for a refund and she states she doesn't know how to do that. So we ask for some tacos instead of the breakfast sandwiches so she finally gets those to us and then forgets the freaking burrito we ordered. At this point we have been here for 45 minutes.
