The mini Bazaar on weekends is a cool touch with local vendors and collectibles. Parking is easy and it never feels too packed compared to UTC or Fashion Valley. Movie theater and Dave & Buster's make it good for more than just shopping. Only downside is a few empty storefronts and the food court could use an upgrade. Overall it's clean, family-friendly, and convenient if you're in Carlsbad. Worth a trip if you want to avoid the big mall crowds.

First the good: amazing renovations have improved the shopping experience. New flooring; sitting areas with power outlets and comfortable chairs; very comfortable outdoor living space with modern conveniences; a PAW-sitive environment for a 4 legged friends; a very clean and well maintained modern shopping area. The restaurants are all centrally located. Lots of parking areas with easy access. The bad: a sad commentary on the shopping climate/culture with an abundance of closed and empty restaurants and stores. The online shopping experience has resulted in brick and mortar businesses to experience more and more contraction of their customer base since the pandemic of COVID-19. At the time of my visit, there were a few number of shoppers in the mall. It saddens me to see the effects of the online shopping economy. I will try to support more businesses in physical stores and retail shops. It's difficult when you compete with the low price points and convenience of next day delivery from online retailers.

There is also a Jimbo's grocery store and several different restaurants. Henry's and Parakeet Cafe are the newer additions to the existing lineup. The Forum hosts community events on major holidays as well as free workout events on the weekends. I recently went to their Art and Walk walkaround event and loved it, there were food samples from the participating restaurants, wine tasting and live music. Overall great vibes and fantastic event. I enjoy coming here for a coffee, shopping or a bite to eat.

It is a two level shopping center with a nice central fountain. Elevator is available. They have numerous seating all around the shopping center. The center has a very relaxing atmosphere which makes it fun to walk or shop around. Parking is available, but you can park around in the street. It could be challenging sometimes. There are different types of shops and restaurants around. For example; you can find coffee shops, bobba shop, Gelato,ramen restaurant, sushi restaurant, Italian restaurant, clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, board game shop, art gallery, dentist office and more. I enjoyed shopping at many shops there and trying the coffee shop, gelato and sushi restaurant.

I first visited here to lunch at Mendocino Farms, and completely missed the entrance. Maneuvering to get into the place required me to ignore "no u-turn" signs at stop lights ( = break the law) or a take a very, very long out of the way jaunt just to return to the mall driveway. I won't ever admit to which one I opted for. That said, the mall is pretty, with the usual collection of better places to shop and dine. I will return to eat at Mendo (one of my favorite places), but I sure wish they worked out the access!

This was during their early set-up they were just settling into this comfortable space. Oceanside has created several community shared spaces over recent years, adding to the craft beer, local wine and thriving food scene. A co-op style environment, where local artists, makers and creatives show off there work and which you can support and shop SoCal. There is one of a kind art, fashion and jewelry. An added bonus is coffee, so you can linger longer with abundant seating around. It's one of those places where you will always get your find on; a card, a baby gift, a plant.
