I can't say enough good things about All Seasons. First I will start with Toly the owner . From the time I reached out, he was attentive, communicative and kind. He spent so much time with me, easing my fears and worries that we would find the right place for my dad. He kept me updated all along the way with the waiting process. And he gave me such good advice during the time we were waiting for a spot to open up for my dad. I will never forget the kindness and compassion and dignity he showed our family along the entire process. Second, Lauren, the house manager at the home my dad was in. From day one, she came alongside my dad-really wanting to know him, to understand him, and to help him thrive during his time at All Seasons. Her care and love for dementia patients and their families is second to none. I was constantly amazed at not only her patience and kindness towards my dad (who was very difficult a lot of time) but also to us as his family who were trying to navigate the difficult behaviors and circumstances surrounding his disease. We will forever be indebted with gratitude that my dad had Lauren as his caregiver and advocate for the last part of his life. Also, Hector, Lilly, Melissa and so many more. All the caregiver at All Seasons seemed to be called to care for these special patients. My dad had previously been in a large memory care. For everyone there-it was a job and only that. She passed away a few months ago and we are grateful her last few years were spent living in her own apartment, surrounded by caring staff and new friends and the many social activities she absolutely loved. Activities are plentiful and Jessica Hernandez, the director of Activities and Life Enrichment, is loved by all. Jessica truly cares about her residents and their well-being. She has recently been joined by Joey who is talented, fun and great with the residents. Patrice Scott, the Dining Services Director, and her staff are committed to bringing dining pleasure to the residents. The dining room staff works hard but always with a smile and with respect. Mom loved her meals at Blossom Vale! In Mom's last months, it became necessary for her to have more in the way of care. We are so impressed with Blossom Vale's Wellness Department. Care and communication with family is great. Chrystal Perez, the Wellness Director, and Preet Cheema, the Wellness Coordinator, have a clear philosophy of caring from the heart and their staff reflects that. Caring for the needs of the elderly is not always easy and requires compassion, kindness and preservation of the dignity of the person receiving care. The med techs and caregivers at Blossom Vale excel at that. They are angels on earth! Blossom Vale really is a special community. At the beginning of November he had a stroke and spends 21 days in re-hab center in Vallejo. On December 3, he gets released to come home. We hired 24 hour care at an exorbitant amount of money and it was not that helpful and awkward having someone in your house 24/7. His physical abilities were declining and we were forced to start looking for an elder care facility. We looked for almost three weeks before finding Belhaven with Monica and Dan. They came to our home to save us a trip. Upon explaining the services they offered, talking to Dennis about what he wanted for care and making both he and I feel comfortable with this horrible decision we made arrangements to move him. Dennis who was only 68 years old when he moved to Belhaven. At the time he was the only man living in the back house and was treated like a king. Not once did I ever regret our decision. All his needs were met by the staff with smiles, humor, compassion, empathy and tenderness. As his physical limitations worsened, his ability to communicate was starting to fail and still they all went beyond my expectations. I probably should mention he entered BelHaven the day the world shut down for COVID. Dennis passed peacefully in August 2020.
