Agy is a great, caring, and wonderful esthetician, she gives great tips on how to take care of your own skin, and she tells you step-by-step what she's using and doing on your face while she works on your face. I have been coming here for 5 months to get microdermabrasion facials. I absolutely love it! It's a nice area and the staff are absolutely wonderful. They have great customer service. I have been receiving facials from Aggy and she is the answer to my skin problems. I started off with microdermabrasion facials which helped clean my pores and give me smooth skin. I upgraded my facials to the infusion and what a difference it has created. My pores look smaller, I have fewer breakouts, and it has minimized my acne scars. I am writing this review for Agy who does microdermabrasion facials. This is actually my 2nd visit and I enjoy Agy's care and expert tips to keep your skin healthy and glowing. I have acne breakouts recently and tons of blackhead I wanted to take care of and the microdermabrasion helped by vacuuming dead skin off your face with a friendly suction machine. I don't know how this place has such high reviews. I don't typically write reviews but always read them as they help me decide which businesses to use. So I feel it's my due diligence to share my experience with you. I came in last week for microdermabrasion that I purchased a groupon for previously. The first thing I noticed is that this is in a doctors office. It doesn't give that spa feeling that I am accustomed to when I go for facials. The lady who performed the facial was very kind however the procedure left a lot to be desired. First off, let me state that this is the 3rd microdermabrasion I have purchased from groupon so I have other experiences to compare them to. All of the other places I've gone too really pampered you and gave you the real 'spa' experience. My previous facials ones lasted an hour. Not here, I was in and out in about 20 mins :( The facial was quick and unlike my previous experiences my face felt very dry afterwards. Then when she started with the microdermabrasion it was very rough and uncomfortable. I thought as long as my results are good I could possibly overlook this. But when I looked in the mirror my face had broken out in hives with a bunch of little bumps all over my face. I could not believe it. I have pretty good skin and rarely do I have breakouts. I couldn't believe my eyes! I thought ok maybe this is temporary and will go away later in the day. Here it is almost a WEEK later and I STILL have bumps all over my face. I really regret going for this service as my face is in worst condition than when I went. So my advice to you is proceed with caution. You may leave in worst condition that when you came. read more

Let me tell you about my journey with carma! One day I woke up with terrible breakouts. I was really freaked out because my skin just switched roles on me. Anyways, for about a month I was struggling to get rid of my acne because I almost never broke out. I ran out of options at one point and was willing to try anything. My best friend told me about this spa she went too where she got facials. Her skin always looked so dewy and fresh so I decided to make an appointment. That place was carma! I went to carma and decided to go with microdermabrasion. Agy was the one who did my micro and honestly ever since my first microdermabrasion I've been hooked. She used this cool, new and advanced machine that was literally like a vacuum against your skin. She made sure to touch down on every spot on my face. After micro, she put sunscreen on my face and told me about all of the products I should purchase and which ones to stay away from. I woke up the next day and my breakouts were basically flat and less red, my pores were so tiny, it was crazy! Also, my skin looked so fresh and even, I was amazed. I stuck to my micro routine and now my skin is back to normal and is perfect. I've tried a variety of things: facials, eyelash extensions, IONI, etc. (they offer so many services) and they were all absolutely amazing and I was always satisfied. First time doing a microdermabrasion facial, thought I would try something new! Looked into the process the purpose of it and the reviews for Carma MedSpas and saw great reviews for Agy sure enough I called and booked an appointment with her I was able to get an appointment for that following week at an accommodating time. She was super detailed about the location and parking. Don't forget park on the bottom structure and go into the medical building fourth floor 404. If that helps. Now, Let me just add that I work as a lifeguard so skin care is something that I try to look into as much as I can because of the exposure I have to the sun as well as the chlorinated water Agy made me feel super comfortable. I purchased a lifebooker loot for botox and had Dr. Sarkisian today, not knowing what to expect as the last place I went was a bit of a shitshow. Diana (I think?) was super nice in the office had me fill out the forms, then sat me in an office and asked what I thought I wanted, then applied numbing cream to the areas and I waited for it to take effect. Dr. Sarkisian came in asked me what degree of of movement I wanted, carefully and very accurately assessed exactly how many units in each place I needed for what I wanted and told me the cost upfront, which was extremely reasonable. He explained as he went along what I'd feel and where we were at - it was fast, nearly painless, he answered all of my questions and made me feel completely comfortable. Out of all of the places I've been to they by FAR were the best - I won't be going anywhere else ever again and may try some of the other services as well. read more

Very clean and very friendly service. I truly recommend the microdermabrasion service to all! I've already referred my mother and she loved it as well. After the service your face feels so fresh and like a new surface has emerged glowing brightly. Each session removes more dead skin cells and if you get the chance to experience this you will be very thankful while also wondering why you took so long to do this . Each session is approximately 30 min at best and parking is fairly easy and usually open. After my sessions are complete I will then return for the laser removal services. read more

I found this place on Lifebooker, bc they had a deal on the microdermabrasion facial. I decided to give Carma a whirl. Now I'm hooked. My skin glows. If you are ever wondering about it, I'm telling you, go for it! You won't be disappointed. As for Carma, I was very impressed. It's no frills but very clean and relaxing. I have dealt with both Agy and Diana and found them both to be very warm and lovely. They totally know what they're doing, so I always feel confident in their hands. Prices are very reasonable and parking is SO EASY- theres a free garage. They also email you appointment reminders and don't charge a fee if you need to cancel last minute, which is awesome.
