I spoke with Chris over the phone and dealt with Chris and Dan. First time electric car owner and…read morethey explained everything I needed to know plus some. Dan made the financing as easy as possible and I feel comfortable with my purchase. If you are on the edge with electric come here and listen to the facts they have to tell you. Plus take one for a ride that's what sold me completely. I purchased a 2021 model s and I love this car.

They've got some real cool dudes working here. I showed up a little late to test drive a Chevy…read moreBolt, not a problem for them. They handed me the keys and told me to take it for a spin, just like that, no drivers-ed treatment where some yutz lectures you about the useless features, no waiting around. This gave me the confidence to really relax and imagine owning the car as I drove. I came back to the dealership with a big dopey grin on my face since the test drive went perfectly. Here's a tip: turn right as you head out the parking lot, there's a little neighborhood on the right with a cul de sac where you can (carefully) test your car's turning radius and maneuverability at suburban speeds. If you keep going straight away from the dealership, there's an industrial park where you can go a teeny bit faster. The straightaways around 1A are just fine for a quick sporty zip. After the test drive, the owners and I had a few minutes to chat about the Bolt, my driving needs and home charging situation, and the general state of the EV market. Suffice it to say, they know their stuff. This is not some casual hobby to them where they just read the brochures of the cars, there is a real enthusiasm and passion there. Theres enough to make me write this before I'm fully committed to buying a car from this establishment. There's enough to make me type this review out in my own car before I leave the place. Couldn't be more satisfied.

i do have trust issues on their ability to actually fix my car. i originally brought my car in…read morebecause my brake was acting weird. they just randomly changed my brake pads that i changed not so long ago and it did not fix the issue. few months later i come back to get my inspection done here and they failed me for the same reason that they did not fix correctly to begin with. i gave them another shot to fix it and they thought it was the calipers that might need to be replace. they some how ended up replacing one control arm, conveniently pass my inspection but my car is still having the same issue. i have to step on the brake very hard and for a long time to get it to work. it's gotten to the point that i got used to driving it this way, i just keep 2 car distance at all time. but it does not change the fact they did not fix the issue and charged me for different services both times. i didn't even bother bringing it back because i feel like they just playing car parts roulette and replacing random things then hope it works. if you go here for a general inspection sticker with a newer car it will be fine but i dont trust their abilities to fix old cars

She took it to her local dealership, and they claimed it needed a completely new engine. We had her car towed 7 hours back to Canton Car Center because we've trusted them to correctly diagnose and repair our cars for years. They diagnosed the actual problem as a faulty head gasket, saving me thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. They did not just stop at the fix; they went completely out of their way to check and double check every detail, and ensure the car was 100% safe for the road. There is no one I trust more with my family's cars than Canton Car Center, and they will continue to be our go-to repair shop going forward.

I had been browsing online for a few weeks and found the best option from CarMax (sent from another state for a reasonable price). I chose CarMax because I heard a good review as CarMax for a company from someone else. I found a car I was looking for which was 1) an older model 2) less mileage 3) a price I could afford 4) given a decent price to trade in for my then current car. I still love my new car now!! It's hybrid/electric and had definitely been taken care of previously. I feel I did not get as much for the car I traded in however it was old and had a lot of miles on it. It was nice I arrived for the test drive, spoke with Jahir about this process, and easily found myself a great deal. I hope to have this car as long as I can and will return as a customer if I can!

Update: After submitting formal reports and escalating my concerns through the appropriate…read morechannels, CarMax ultimately agreed to cover the related expenses. While I appreciate the resolution, this experience reinforced the importance of due diligence and proactive self-advocacy when making such a significant financial investment. I strongly encourage all buyers to thoroughly review their purchase, document any concerns, and file reports with the appropriate departments as needed. Do not hesitate to advocate for yourself and your finances--vehicles are expensive assets, and consumers should not be unfairly burdened with costly issues immediately after purchase. For prospective buyers, especially those who may not have extensive knowledge about vehicles, I recommend obtaining a second opinion. Even if it costs an additional $200 at an independent dealership or mechanic, having a comprehensive inspection completed within the dealership's return window or warranty period can help prevent long-term financial strain. Lastly, I encourage customers to post updates to their reviews. Sharing outcomes--both challenges and resolutions--supports transparency and helps other consumers make informed decisions when purchasing from CarMax or any dealership.
