I later found out an employee was fired for doing this to other customers. June 26, 2025 - I brought my vehicle in to fix a problem. Instead of repairing it, they charged me $178 for what they are now calling a "diagnosis" -- which was never explained to me at the time. I left with the same problem I came in for. They also falsely claimed I "went elsewhere" for repairs, which is untrue. They promised me a refund in writing. I gave them plenty of time, but they have ignored all of my follow-up emails. I've since filed complaints with GM Canada, the Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Protection BC. I do not trust this dealership to work on my car again. We paid for a service that completely failed when we needed it most. Shameful experience.

The first vehicle we bought from them is a used Acura TSX premium model. White color, black leather interior color. I did go to all the other Acura dealers in town to look at the TSX's they had for sale; Northshore, Burrard, Langley, Richmond each had a few but none of them came close to the condition of the ones for sale here. My TSX used to be a courtsey car, and it does have a few scratches and dings when I bought it. But the manager, Patrice, agreed to repair all of them before we take the car out. They did not cut corners on repairing them, every damage was fixed professionally. First time dealing with these guy, had an absolutely excellent experience. Even tthough it took some effort to work the price down but we got a really good deal at the end. The second vehicle we bought from them is a used 2012 TL Sh-awd tech. Again, we walked into the door and was greeted by the same salesman we bought the TSX from. Same story with the TSX, this TL was a lease comeback, it had some scratches on the back bumper. But Patrice offered to fix them for free. Another really pleasent time dealing with Lougheed Acura. At the new dealer, the service department offers free coffee and free pop. And the shop looks really from the window. The service advisors are friendly as well. Scott Bagnell is the guy to go for to service your Acura I am going to drive Acura for my whole life most likely; and as long as these guys are here, I will buy from them. And as long as William(the salesman who sold us the two acrs) is not retired, I will buy from him. If he was the grand master for four years in a roll, that means he really know what he is doing and he is good at it.

At the time of purchase, we were encouraged to buy an extended warranty. Since the car was brand new, we believed it was a prudent decision and trusted that Acura would guide us in the right direction. We purchased the extended warranty for $2,800, understanding that $800 would be the actual cost and that if we did not use the coverage, we would receive a $2,000 refund after six years. The company you HIGHLY recommended held our money for six years without any interest payments. Unfortunately, because we did not submit a refund request within four months of the warranty's expiration, (we submitted at 5 1/2 months unaware of time frame)we were informed that we are no longer eligible to receive our reimbursement. We are extremely disappointed by this policy, which feels misleading and unfair. Yes, we didn't read the 6 page contract in mini font with the last few few lines saying we needed to apply for a refund within time frame. we trusted our sales re to be providing fair service. It is disheartening that a company we trusted would support an insurance provider that does not prioritize best practices. We have been loyal customers, however this experience has made us feel that your company does not truly stand behind its customers. We urge you to reconsider recommending this insurance provider in the future to prevent other customers from experiencing similar frustrations.

Although I purchased my second-hand Subaru from one of his former customers rather than directly from the dealership, Jimmy has continuously treated me with the same care and professionalism as a long-term customer. Every time I reach out with questions or concerns, he is always patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help. Most recently, today, I encountered a frightening situation where I could not turn off the engine of my vehicle. I was panicking and unsure what to do. When I called Jimmy, he immediately called me back and calmly instructed me step-by-step on how to solve the problem. His quick response and expertise helped me tremendously and got me out of a very stressful situation. In today's world, it is rare to encounter someone with such sincere dedication, professionalism, and deep knowledge. Jimmy's kindness and commitment have made a lasting impression on me, and I felt it was important to share my appreciation with management.

WARNING - DEALERSHIP DOES NOT OPERATE WITH INTEGRITY Over…read morethe last several days, I have been in contact via phone, email, and text with two sales representatives at Kabani Motors in Vancouver. They have a 2015 Honda Pilot with 9,825KMS and an asking price of $39,995. In my initial conversation with Eduardo Guillo where I made an offer that was not accepted; however, Eduardo informed me via email that the lowest price that the owners of Kabani would accept is $39,470. Over the last four days, we continued to discuss the Pilot and decided yesterday, Sunday, April 10th, 2022, that would engage with the dealership again to make an offer. This time around we dealt with Summit K. Biswas. Over a period of 3 hours, we communicated via text and phone. During this period, we discussed the value of their $299 administration fee and further negotiated on price. With each offer, Summit returned to the owners of the dealership to present my offer and continuously kept coming back in writing that they would not accept anything less than $39,000. We came to the decision that we would pay the price and provided Summit with my credit card over the phone, and it was charged with a $1000 non-refundable deposit I planned to fly to Vancouver to pick up the SUV. Approximately, a half-hour later I received a text message from Summit, stating that the boss there is no discount on that vehicle, yet last week they were prepared to take $500 off. Over the course of the negotiation process, Summit contacted the owners of the dealership more than three (3) times to discuss the price and then revoked our agreement and wanted me to pay full price. The reason given, is the owners didn't have good cell service and didn't hear the offer correctly, yet they were very familiar with the conversation I had the previous week with Eduardo and the offer. Whatever you decide to do with this dealership and its owners be VERY CAREFUL. They are not ethical and do NOT operate with integrity. I had to request multiple times to have them credit my VISA and ended up calling the bank to report it as fraud. Below are the screenshots of our text message conversation. I appreciate their honesty, as they never attempt to pressure you into repairs and promptly inform you if an immediate fix is necessary or if you can defer it. When I made the purchase, I felt no pressure to buy. In fact, I felt compelled to initiate the sale, which I enjoyed because I did not perceive anyone attempting to persuade me to purchase the vehicle. I have consistently utilized their services, and when they make an error, I promptly point it out. They rectify the issue immediately and apologize. even if it's a few weeks after the appointment. The only caution I would advise others about this dealership is the wait time. If you intend to service your vehicle here, make a plan to return home or arrange for transportation. They even offer rides to and from the dealership. While I tend to wait between 3 to 5 hours for my vehicle, I am more than willing to wait due to the exceptional customer service I receive and the high quality of work performed on my vehicle. I will never go to any other dealership.

I've enjoyed the CX-9's refinement and versatility for adventure. We added roof racks and a trailer hitch which have allowed us to create memories in a short time. Neighbors have come over to compliment the CX-9, and both family and friends have loved it. Our previous vehicle that the CX-9 replaced was a Mazda and my other vehicle is also a Mazda. We think we have found the brand for us moving forward. The sales experience at Open Road Mazda and our ownership experience has been incredibly positive so far. Context: I contacted my nearest 10 Mazda dealerships all with the same questions to evaluate the level of service, when I was researching the CX-9. While I will not name specific dealerships, or sales representatives there was wide range of customer service. Some dealerships were not willing to communicate over email, which was imperative to me. I sent several emails to the different dealerships with multiple questions, of which many were not answered or answered with very limited information and sometimes contradictory information. Some of my questions were perhaps uncomfortable such as what separates your dealership from other dealerships/ why should I buy from your dealership. Over the years I have visited several dealerships over the years and have purchased vehicles from 7 of them. I can say with certainty that Darius was the most helpful sales representative. He was flexible in communication with text/phone/email, while being prompt and detailed in his responses. He was knowledgeable and took the time to answer all questions. He did not resort to high pressure sales tactics and offered the best customer service of any of the dealerships. Since Open Road had the CX-9 in the trim and colour I wanted in stock, this was a no brainer to purchase here. When an issue arose with the CX-9 the GM Shaun was able to resolve it. Thanks!
