    New car! Chrysler 200 C 2016
    Ariyana J.

9/23/24 I talked with CarMax Auto Finance. Changing this review to 4 stars because they are always professional and personable. Also found out that my Chrysler's camshaft sensor intermittent bank 1 was bad. My bf and I changed this out and the car has been fine so far.

My husband and I would come to check out their inventory. We would come pretty often so often some works would already recognize us. As you enter there's a counter where a worker greets you and asks how they can assist you. We usually just tell them we're browsing and we walk out to the parking lot. The past 2 recent visits we had my car apprised we didn't have an appointment so we were placed on the waiting list. This place can get busy so sometimes getting an appointment is best. The first time we waited about 45mins to get helped the second time it was about 10. The workers that had helped the past few times had been nice. We were happy with the amount we got my car appraised for special since the amount was wasn't changed after 2 months of my last appraisal. We went else where to get a trade in but my experience so far has been good. They have many selections to cars to choose from. They supposedly have no haggle pricing. Most cars on the lot comes with the fact sheets about the car and price. They allow customers to test drive but of course there is a wait if you don't have an appointment.

I had this car transferred from Modesto to Fresno on one condition. That there was no rust underneath since it came from Wisconsin. I was told there wasn't any. I bought it then took it to Subaru in SLO for an inspection. They found rust that they said would cost $10,000 to $15,000 to repair. I returned the car to Fresno and Freddy, the sales manager said that the rust should have been caught and that it was a one off mistake. They just put it back on the lot for $1,000 off.

Maybe you'll find your car here...

I got sold a lemon car from a dealership in Fresno named Auto Dealz of Fresno. They said if i sign my warranty off my interest would drop from 20% to 15% and that the Balboa Bank agreed to this Malpractice, Balboa Denied the claims coming from the dealership they work with. The salesman are great comforting tricksters. I still remember the name of the salesman. Anthony Bustamente. them knowing they sold me a lemon car quickly jumped to getting me to sign my warranty off through this practice! First 20,000 miles i face Transmission and Turbo repair valued at 5,000$ now i have to replace the Catalytic Converter not even within the first 100k miles yet. $2,000 part plus labor! I just swapped the Mass Airflow Sensor $150 and still need's all Oxygen Sensor's to be swapped. $100 something each plus labor. I just had to change the radiator like $300 + labor totaling about $500. Still need's a new Assembly Fan now at $740 part. Car Need's an Engine Control Module Too! Let's not forget the Turbo Solenoid! I went homeless and lost my room because of this lemon car sale from Auto Dealz of Fresno and the car has been leaving me constantly stranded! Had to replace the mother board positive terminal for $200. I'm also thinking the car may have a possible Fuel Pump and Negative Terminal issue. All my debt stem's from this worthless messed up Lemon car sale. I sure would love justice against this malpractice of a dealership! I called countless lawyers for help on this yet get turned away. To Whom It May Concern at Auto Dealz of Fresno, You requested an update on how the Lemon vehicle is running. I am responding in full detail, because the condition of this car has placed me in severe financial and personal hardship. The vehicle, a Chevrolet Malibu 2022 LT 1.5L, is currently not operable. It does not reliably start, does not crank properly, and cannot be driven safely or consistently. Despite multiple repair attempts and part replacements, the issues persist and have compounded over time. Here is a summary of the ongoing problems and repair history: * Repeated no-start / no-crank conditions, even with a new battery installed * Electrical failures, including loss of communication with the Engine Control Module (ECM) and related gateway modules * Starter motor spins when bypassed, but the Bendix does not engage, indicating electrical or control failure rather than a simple starter issue * Persistent battery drain even when the vehicle is off * Replacement of the battery positive terminal fuse block with no resolution * Prior transmission and turbocharger issues within the first 20,000 miles, costing approximately $5,000 * Ongoing warning lights, intermittent dash power, and unstable electrical behavior At this point, diagnostics alone would require towing the vehicle to a dealership or qualified shop. I have been quoted $1,000-$2,000 for towing alone, depending on distance, before any diagnostic or repair work even begins. Additional repairs are estimated to be several thousand dollars, with no guarantee of resolution given the pattern of failures. I am no longer in a financial position to pursue further repairs. Due to the ongoing breakdowns, I have lost employment opportunities, housing stability, and transportation. I am currently homeless, and the vehicle has at times been my only shelter. All of my belongings are inside the car. I have exhausted my savings on repairs, towing, parts, food, and loan payments, and I can no longer sustain this situation. Diagnostics take days, part orders take days and getting to my car may take weeks and i can't afford hotels like that. I have been homeless ever since i bought the car. This vehicle has not been reliable, dependable, or fit for long-term ownership since purchase. It has directly contributed to financial collapse, emotional distress, and loss of stability. I am at the point where continuing to hold this vehicle is no longer possible. Because of these circumstances, I am requesting to surrender the vehicle. This decision is not made lightly, but out of necessity. I cannot afford further towing, diagnostics, repairs, insurance, or payments on a car that has repeatedly failed.

I found a vehicle online at a reasonable price, got pre-approved, and went in the same day. During the process, Less asked personal questions about whether I was signing alone or adding a co-owner, which felt unnecessary and honestly came across as a tactic to gauge how much they could get away with. I was briefly shown monthly payments and total financing, and when I questioned certain fees, I was told they were "out of their control." While signing(helped by Ricky), there was constant small talk and distraction, and the itemized contract was never properly explained. Only after reviewing my paperwork (itemized contract) at home did I realize I had been charged over $6,000 in optional add-ons, including ceramic coating, a theft deterrent device, GAP insurance, and an extended warranty. When I called and spoke to Greg to cancel these clearly optional items, I was told some could not be removed because they were "pre-installed" and mandatory on all vehicles, despite being listed as optional on the contract. When I pushed back and mentioned escalating the issue, they suddenly demanded I return the vehicle after a week of ownership. I complied, but still have not received proper documentation confirming my loan was canceled. Attempts to escalate the issue to the owner were ignored, and it became clear decisions were being made without accountability. This business advertises vehicles at prices that are simply not real. They add thousands in so-called "mandatory" extras and fail to clearly disclose them upfront. This is not how honest sales should be conducted. Buyer beware, this place does not operate in good faith.

Dishonest "Guaranteed approvals"- cost me hundreds in insurance and 7- hour round trip…read more I am writing this to warn anyone considering this dealership. I had a truly horrible experience here yesterday involving Alexis Garcia (sales), Brian Mcaleavey (finance) and Sharice Mcdonald (sales manager) I was told by this team that I was completely approved and that all i needed to do was show up, sign, and drive. Based on this "guarantee" I paid a friend to drive me the 3.5 hrs to the dealership. I was even instructed to purchase insurance for the vehicle and given the vin number to do so. Despite having sent all my documents online in advance, the moment I arrived, the story changed. Brian Mcaleavey began asking for the same documents I had already submitted online. Only to eventually tell me they couldn't sell me a car because of my check stubs- the very same check stubs they had reviewed before telling me to make the trip i was approved. As a single father, the money i spent out of pocket for a new insurance policy, gas and paying a driver to get me there was a huge hit to my budget and has only added to the hardships I am currently facing. When I spoke with the sales manager Sharice Mcdonald about being misled, she asked me what would I like her to do? I asked if they could at least cover the expense it took to get there. Only for her to tell me there's nothing she can do. Alex, Brian and Sherice were perfectly fine with lying to me to get me thru there door, but showed zero accountability or empathy once I was there. They are unprofessional and untrustworthy, I highly recommend another dealership. Why risk having to experience what I did with these people? You don't have to I already did. So do yourself a favor and avoid the potential lies they will feed you all to benefit themselves without the regard for there customer. I don't usually complain, in fact this is my first yelp ever. I just thought it was necessary to hopefully help someone considering this dealership to avoid the potential headache cause they truly do not regard there customer and left me hi and dry with multiple expensis to cover vested by there actions. Go elsewhere.

A big part of the reason I drive a 2007 car is not that I can't afford anything better or love my…read morecar (I can, and I don't) but because the experience of buying a car from a dealer is so horrible. Last time I went in, to a local dealership which shall remain nameless, they did their usual shady sales stuff to try to get you in the door and then keep you as long as possible, trying to make a sale while being coy about the price, "asking the manager" about silly things, and being generally unable to answer very basic questions about the car, it answering the questions in a glib way, to tell you what they think you want to hear. I got so frustrated about the games being played, I walked out and decided it was better just to keep my old beat-up car rather than deal with all that nonsense. Hertz Car Sales is not like that. It's the opposite of that. Even though honestly it might be nicer to have a brand new car versus a used one (because again, money is not the issue), I think we'll continue to shop here, just because of the way we were treated. We worked with Jess, and he was amazing (thoughtful, respectful of our goals, a good listener) and everyone else we came in contact with, albeit briefly, with was also great: Ed, Sonny, and a woman whose name we sadly didn't catch who jumped in and helped us while Jess was tied up for a few minutes (we didn't mind waiting, but it was thoughtful how she stepped in and kept the paperwork moving). We were buying a car for the newest driver in the family, and we got one that met our budget and our wishes (for safety, features, price). Jess was able to answer our questions, and never tried to aggressively upsell, or get us to look at cars we didn't want, or even pressure us to buy that day. We're the sort of people, before we make any major purchase, to sit down and talk about it with each other, and then go back the next day if we decide it's a good idea. That's just how we are, and Hertz was very respectful of that. There was no pressure to buy that day, no made-up story of three other buyers waiting in the wings to snatch up the same car. Jess just said that was fine and gave us his card. When we came back in, on Jess's next work day, we bought the car and it was an easy, low-stress process. After we left we were saying to each other we would just continue to buy our cars here, rather than buy new. Next time we need a car, we'll go here first. We also got an amazing deal, because people think former rentals are harshly driven, so they don't always want one, so these prices are very low for what you'd pay elsewhere. For me, if I take a used car, I'm glad to get one that had all its maintenance and was literally cleaned after every use. If you're like us, and detest the car-buying experience, you'll be very happy here.
