*READ ME* Carmax plays unfair pricing games with vehicles and will change prices on you shamelessly and say it's a market price change. See attached. I showed interest on vehicle and was going to secure store transfer and then BAM! New price and now it's take its leave it. Stay away.

I had a great experience with Tainann. There wasn't any haggling nf she was very patient and I walked out of there with a beautiful car.

I had the BEST experience at this Carmax location, thanks to my wonderful car saleswoman Lynn, Meren the service manager, and Jarrod a service department employee. Prior to buying my beautiful Toyota Corolla from Carmax, I visited a number of big name dealerships and received your typical car sales experience. Being a young woman with little car sales knowledge, I received the run around from many salesmen and the absolute worst customer service. However, coming to this Carmax was a breath of fresh air. Lynn was extremely helpful and sweet, showing me a number of cars on the lot that interested me. She listened to what my preferences and deal breakers were and didn't waste my time with vehicles that didn't match up. When we finally found the perfect car, she helped me through the process from start to finish, never once trying to sell me something that I didn't need. After I bought the car, I noticed a few issues that I addressed with the service department. Meren took the time to go over my concerns and explained the teams plan to solve the minor problems, guaranteeing that I would be satisfied no matter what. While the team worked on my car, Jarrod frequently phoned me to keep me up to date with the progress, something that I greatly appreciated. The entire team at this location excel in their customer service skills and I am so proud to have purchased a vehicle from them!

This is my first purchase from Carmax and it was an amazing experience! Thank you Dewan and Carmax team!!

I'm not sure if Lucas Honda has changed their service policies or if it was just the service advisor I saw today. This time a basic oil change was about 80 minutes and might have been longer if I did actively question the time. My service advisor did not update me on the status of my vehicle, and a bit over an hour I started hunting him down for information. Apparently the service was taking this long because of the hand wash and vacuuming that is done as part of the oil change service. Unfortunately, the car wash left the windows pretty dirty. When I went to check out, the discount coupon I used was not applied to the account and I had to wait even longer for a manager to come over. He did make it right and applied a better coupon than the one I had. Bottom line - go with plenty to work on while waiting for your car.

I have brought every Honda I have ever purchased here for my maintenance even though I bought them from different places. This time unfortunately I went and bought a new car from the sales department. They are nothing like the service department. I brought my old Honda Civic in for a routine oil change and saw a 2024 Civic that was beautiful. I told the sales team I want this car but I only have ONE request; DO NOT RUN MY CREDIT MORE THAN 2 INQURIES. The next day I get credit alerts that they are running my credit with hard pulls. I called the manager Ricky Rubarb who was screaming at me on the phone stating he didn't do that and basically he didn't care because I have already bought the car. I called VyStar to confirm and they said it was definitely Lukas Honda on the day I purchased and the next day when I was not at their establishment. Instead of being kind and helping he chose pride to not admit a mistake. I called TransUnion who stated this is an EASY fix with just a one or two sentence letter from Honda. Ricky screamingly refused to. He severed a multi year customer relationship because of pride and now I have to go through the FTC and file a fraud claim BECAUSE I DID NOT AUTHORIZE MULTIPLE INQUIRIES. This is fraud plain and simple. The most disappointing part is now I have to find a new service department; they are so great. Get your Honda fixed here but purchase it somewhere else. They are either liars or afraid to admit mistakes. THIS WAS SUCH AN EASY FIX! Terrible sales department. I approved Capital One Bank and Community First Bank and that's it. Rick tried to say he told me about VyStar but even if I were to let that go he ran it AGAIN the next day without my permission. THIS IS INSANE I HAVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY AFTER YEARS OF BUSINESS. I have to see this thru because inquires stay on your credit report for quite some time. I am deeply saddened by this situation.

I purchased a speaker from the GM accessories website and paid to have it installed at this location. I was notified via email that the speaker was delivered and promptly scheduled the install for 7am on a Friday. I drop off my vehicle and the service advisor said that it would be ready for pickup by 1pm (should be ~1hr job so was confused on the timing, but ok). 1pm passes and I never receive a call that it is ready, I call multiple times with no answer, so I head in around 3pm. When I get there, my service advisor left early for the day so they pass me off to someone else. I walk back to the shop viewing area and see my vehicle with nobody on it so I think that it's ready to go, except I find out that nobody has even started on it and now it will be ready by 6pm. Upset that I scheduled install for 7am, been ghosted as far as communication, and now won't be ready for another couple of hours (11hrs for a quick install), I pack up my speaker and choose to install it myself. On the way out I ask about refund for the unfulfilled installation, and the (new) service advisor states that "the lady who cuts the checks is gone for the day, so someone will follow up Monday". Monday came and went, nobody reached out. I called Thursday and they said the Service Manager who would authorize the check is out for the week, but they would leave a note for him to call. Nobody reached out. I called the following week and left a message with the Service Manager, nobody returned my call. I called the following week and was told there was a problem with the check machine. I called the following week and was finally told the check would be cut next Monday and should be available for pickup on Tuesday. To wrap this up and demonstrate the final showing of incompetency by Coggin Service Department, I wait an extra day to come in because my confidence in their Service Department's is now nonexistent. When I arrive, I am escorted back to the Service Manager's office and he proceeds to reach into petty cash to pay me for the refund. Uhhh...what? All this talk about the "check lady" and "machine's being broken" and "check authorization" and it's just a simple cash refund from a desk lockbox? You have to be kidding. I laugh, collect my refund, and leave without a peep. To summarize, their Service Department provides inaccurate timelines, has poor communication/customer service, dodges/consistently lies to customers, and should not be trusted. Negative stars if I could leave it and definitely will never earn my business again.

That didn't end up being a problem, and I found something that I liked with the help of the fantastic sales person, Maada. I visited Keith Pierson Toyota on April 26, 2026, to purchase a 2026 Toyota Crown Signia through…read morethe Costco Auto Program. The sales team boasted that Keith Pierson is the only Costco-participating Toyota dealer between Miami and South Carolina, and closes some 300 Costco sales a month -- which makes what followed all the more troubling. Any meaningful discount was immediately negated by egregious "dealer required" add-ons that appear nowhere on the vehicle's MSRP window sticker. "Dealer Required" is a fiction -- it means the dealer pre-installed items on the lot and is attempting to make them non-negotiable. The Costco program compounds this: member pricing is presented as a fixed, pre-negotiated offer, which means these inflated add-ons are effectively laundered through Costco's brand as a take-it-or-leave-it package. The program that is supposed to protect members from dealer manipulation instead provides the mechanism for it. While the initial Costco vehicle discount was a respectable 8%, the "mandatory" Appearance Package added $3,993 to the transaction -- a dealer-installed item with a fair market value of perhaps $500 -- partially offset by a 15% Costco discount that only existed because of the inflated base price. A second "mandatory" Vehicle Accessories package retailed for $2,495, discounted to $1,996 through the Costco program. The practical result: the Costco vehicle and package "savings" of $5,323 were entirely consumed by $5,390 in manufactured add-ons. Even more egregious, the final pricing page inflated the car's "Market Value Selling Price" by $1,582.50 --to $60,800.95, a number that appears nowhere on the window sticker -- then subtracted that same amount -- except for $1! -- as a "discount" to make the total Costco savings appear to be $6,904.57. The vehicle price didn't change by a single dollar. They simply added a fictional number and then "removed" it. That is not a discount. That is fabrication. When I raised these concerns with one of the dealership's Costco agent the following day, he defended the add-ons with "every dealership does this." He sent a revised offer with the accessories package quietly removed but the appearance package retained, and assured me no better price was available elsewhere. I purchased the identical vehicle -- same factory spec, same MSRP -- from another Jacksonville Toyota dealer for $1,100 less than Keith Pierson's "best" revised Costco price. The Costco brand lends a veneer of legitimacy to this dealership that it does not deserve. Members reasonably assume the program protects them from exactly this kind of manipulation. It does not. Keith Pierson uses the Costco framework as a negotiating ceiling, not a floor -- and as the only Costco Toyota dealer in a large regional market, consumers have no program alternative. I'd encourage the Costco Auto Program to audit how dealer-required items interact with member pricing at this location. As written, the program provides cover for the very practices Costco members assume the program is designed to prevent.
