***UPDATE*** After posting this review, I was contacted by Eliot, a higher-level manager, who changed the trajectory of this experience entirely. Unlike my earlier attempts to escalate, Eliot actually listened, took my concerns seriously, and didn't make me feel insignificant as a customer. He offered real solutions and structured the remainder of the process to respect my time -- arranging for as much of the transaction as possible to be handled remotely with the vehicle delivered to my city so I wouldn't have to make another trip to Jacksonville. Eliot paired me with Katie in sales to handle the in-person portion of the transaction, and she was everything the previous experience was not. She came fully prepared, was knowledgeable, efficient, and -- most impressively -- proactively addressed relevant details before I even had to ask. It was clear she genuinely cared about making the process smooth and takes pride in her performance. I'm leaving the original review in place because that experience happened and others deserve to know. But I also believe in giving credit where it's due -- Eliot and Katie earned it. They turned a deeply frustrating situation into a completed purchase decision that I'm confident in. I had selected two vehicles online and confirmed their availability via text prior to driving over 1-1/2 hours to Jacksonville. I was to see Katie upon arrival, but was paired with Daquan since she was unavailable when I got there. I provided him the stock numbers and the text confirmation, he had me test drive alternative vehicles while I waited for him to find them. Hours later, Daquan admitted the vehicles and keys could not be located due to inventory issues. The following week, he contacted me to inform the vehicles and keys had been located. I returned that Saturday and test drove the vehicles then let him know which one I intended to buy. I requested a second key and interior cleaning of the stained seats for that vehicle then was assured these items would be handled. When I called back for an update the following week and to advise of my arrival to complete the purchase, I was told the second key would not be ordered until after I arrived which meant additional waiting for me. This was extremely frustrating after already losing two Saturdays and incurring travel expenses due to Enterprise's disorganization. I attempted to escalate the issue to Herbert in management but never received a follow-up call. I have been forced to cancel the transaction with my bank due to the poor communication, inadequate preparation and lack of respect for my time and money. This was an amazing process from start to finish, and I never thought I'd say that about buying a car. This was my first car I've ever purchased myself so I was very nervous. Everyone has heard a horror story of someone getting scammed while buying a car. However, this experience was so far from being stressful or confusing. Willie is the one who helped me during the process. As soon as I sat down we let him know I was interested in Camrys and Malibus, and he immediately jumped on showing us options. He also mentioned a Jetta that came in recently it was a really good price. I took interest as soon as I saw the photo of the Jetta. Within 30 seconds of driving it, I knew it was mine. From there, the paperwork and "sales" aspect of buying the car was smooth sailing. It's almost done completely virtually which makes the process really seamless and easy to understand. There is a screen you view everything on so there is great transparency in pricing. I never felt like Willie was trying to do anything other than get me out the door with the best price and car. He kept checking in with his manager about things which made me feel secure in such a big purchase. He also answered all of my questions in easy to understand terms and was super patient with us. I've rented a vehicle from the San Jose location a couple of time. My first experience wasn't that great, however they one back my vote of confidence. The first car I was given on my second trip didn't work for me as I had just been in a car accident and it was a super tight fit. The associate who was assisting offered me a vehicle that was just returned and asked if I had time to wait for the detailers to clean and sanitize. The car was clean and ready to go. The general manager thanked me to returning the vehicle with more gas than required and made returning the car really easy. I look forward to using Enterprise again in the future. read more

I normally don't leave negative reviews but I have to at this point. Let me start out by saying that Mickie and Devon made the car purchasing experience. Amazing! I have two family members that purchased their vehicles through here and nothing but great things to say. They happened to notice a few things with the car upon delivery that they pointed out to me and had me come back to get taken care of. I live over an hour away but they offered to fill up my gas tank for me which was extremely kind and generous of them. With that being said, I now have to share my disappointment. I drive for a living, so having my car on the road every day as one pays my bills. I have a bad back so having a car with heated seats was a must. Unfortunately the driver seat heater does not work. I also came to realize that the 12v socket upfront doesn't work either so I can't charge my phone from the front seat. The car has a very noticeable vibration at highway speeds and vibrates while braking. Upon inspection I noticed that the car had 5 different brand tires in it which can cause the vibration and also does not allow the vehicle to track straight. When it rains out it's almost impossible to keep the car in the lane because of the mis-matched tire tread. There are times that I can't work because of this because it rains almost everyday in Florida. I was going to replace all 4 tires, have the wheels checked and balanced and inspect the brakes only to find out that the vehicle tool kit is missing from the vehicle so I can not remove the wheels until I order a new tool kit. It's a Volkswagen and has special locking lug nuts that comes from the factory like that. Also, Volkswagen does not put any labels on their fuse boxes so I can not tell if the 12v socket is a simple fuse replacement or not. Because it's a newer vehicle, I can't find any diagrams online yet for the fuse boxes so I will have to pay someone just to check the fuses. So although I was happy with the purchasing experience, I am completely unhappy with the vehicle itself. I would highly recommend taking the vehicle for a long test drive, on and off the highway, before taking delivery and checking every feature to ensure that everything is working properly. The fact that my car is unsafe to drive, making me lose money and then have to invest more money into it, makes for an unhappy customer. After leaving this review on google I received a response from Laura, said it was the owner. I really appreciated the quick response. She left an email and wanted me to contact her to discuss this matter further. I immediately sent her an email but so far have not heard anything back. That was two days ago. Not sure if she just posted that to look good or really wants to help with this situation. I will update when I hear back read more

If you are not mechanically sound, do not purchase a car from this location. I have had this car for six months and I am now having my whole entire engine and all the connectors replaced. We purchased our truck in November of 2022. A Ford F150. There was a one year warranty on the truck. A week ago the truck started running rough. The truck was sent to our local Ford dealership and we were informed a few days later that it has a blown motor. We spent roughly 38K for a truck to be told close to a year and a half later we need to pay $15k for a new motor. When I contacted Enterprise I was told the warranty was up and it's my problem not theirs. So buyer beware. They had no problem selling us a lemon. This has been a know problem with these motors. After a few months we realized that there was a problem with some touch-up painting they'd done. It was peeling. We brought the car in, showed it to them and that was it - they took care of it. I gotta tell ya. I was delightfully surprised. For whatever reason, I never expected that a rental car sales lot would be a place where you'd have an all-star buying experience. Our salesman, a young guy named David, seemed genuinely interested in helping us understand the features of the car (mini-van) than rushing us into the office for a fleecing. In fact, after less than 10 minutes it was me who suggested that we go inside and buy the car. "I'm happy to set it up for a test drive," he offered as we were walking to the office , where we met the finance manager, Blake, another very sharp guy who had every answer to all my questions. David, after first wiping down our office chairs due to the Coronavirus, seemed genuinely eager to step out and help get the car even more cleaned up for our drive home. Neither of them begged me to fill out a good survey, which makes me want to when it arrives. You won't see this agency with commercials promising an excellent car-buying experience; they just provide one. Last month I purchased a vehicle from the Enterprise Car Sales location in Jacksonville Florida. To say that I am not only thrilled with the vehicle purchased and the exceptional service I got is an understatement. After visiting more than five local dealerships in my area (Savannah, GA) I was frustrated with the poor customer service and lack of interesting inventory available to me here. I widened my search a little - which is how I came to find Enterprise as an option. It was not even an hour after my initial inquiry about a vehicle that I received contact from Printess Pritchard. He was courteous, knowledgeable and very focused on finding options for my consideration. To say I put Printess 'through the ringer' is probably an understatement. I'm in meetings most of my workdays and travel every week, so he communicated with me via email at my request versus calling and several times took calls after his work hours were over. He updated me on available alternative options constantly, and when FINALLY I made up my mind as to exactly the vehicle I wanted to purchase he went on a personal mission to acquire not just one but two for me to drive and select from. From what I overheard from a colleague of his, this involved great effort on Printess's part, of which Printess never let on to in his communication with me. Initially I was skeptical of purchasing a vehicle that was previously used as a rental. With that being said, I tried Enterprise out anyways. I actually found their listing for the car that I wanted online, and the price was about average for the vehicle, which is a 2011 Dodge Charger. The salesman that I worked with was Darryl, and he was great. They assured me that the Charger was well taken care of while it was a rental car. They provided paperwork of all past maintenance, and after a quick test drive and lots of questions asked by me, I was definitely sold. Enterprise Car Sales even offers a 7-day money back guarantee if you're not happy with your purchase, which is definitely a big plus. Our Credit Union suggested Enterprise and they would have someone call us to make an appointment. When the call came, Paul Hanson introduced himself in the most professional way. We agreed on a time to look at the Cars that would be best for us. My wife and I have some mobility problems and choosing a Car that was easy to get in and out of and enough room to store them. Paul showed us several choices that would fit the situation and of course our budget and we selected a 2017 Nissan Rogue Reading some of these reviews regarding the cleanliness of the cars, our experience was totally different. The expression "Showroom New" applies here. The condition of the car? Absolutely immaculate! Was going to buy a Dodge Grand Caravan GT, I got approved on line, I was contacted by Rayne, she was very friendly. That is until I asked about interest rates, I got no answer, I have to come in and talk to finance manager??? I just wanted to buy a van for a 48 month loan term, with $3000 cash down, instead I get run around, I'm so confused. I've rented from enterprise for years, never any issues. Yet I go to buy a van and they will not disclose interest rate? Yet I was approved for three banks? I just don't understand. I live 110 miles from Jacksonville, and just wanted to know what full terms were before I went there. The fact they didn't want to tell me interest rate is very very sketchy. What kind of dealer wants to keep that a secret? Then they tell me payment is $300-360 for 60 months???? Why would I want a 5 yr loan on a used car? 4 yr is a stretch. I was excited about buying a car from enterprise, but honestly the fact they are secretive about telling me my interest rate is not good. I will not buy a car from them after my experience. We have purchased three vehicles from Enterprise Car Sales since September of 2010. The first two were under Chuck's management and everything went smoothly, without a hitch. We purchased our final vehicle from Enterprise August 30, 2013. What we witnessed during this last purchase was a team without a sense of urgency, professionalism and lacking pride in their work. During the most recent purchase of our vehicle between my spouse and myself we were in there a total of 6 times in a week long period. In retail professions there should be an "onstage" appearance, however, we witnessed personal phone calls, lack of organization, and discussions about scheduling which made the manager appear to have a lack of control of her team. After narrowing down our search to a Chrysler Town & Country we only needed to decide on a color choice. We showed up as family and made our final decision, the vehicle was not ready to take home that day which was completely understandable since it had been pulled from the back lot, so we made arrangements to finalize the sale the following day. 24 hours later, show up complete that paperwork and the vehicle is not clean enough to take home. At this time paperwork is complete. I came home in my trade in vehicle, with the Town and Country paperwork complete. Return again the following day and decide to take the loss and bring the van home, still needing a major cleaning job on the interior. 3 hours of work was personally put into wiping down the entire inside and outside of the van upon bringing it home. We are not looking for a hand out in this case. After purchasing vehicles from you in the past and referring numerous people to your dealership as well, we felt it necessary to know our disgust with our recent purchase so you can make adjustments for future customers. I bought a car from Enterprise a couple of months ago and I have to say I was not impressed at all. Although they say they are not pushy salespeople, the woman salesperson was relentless, until I bought the car. After I bought the car, which was not cleaned before they had me come pick it up, I was no longer a priority. I called to get assistance with a situation and left messages for three different people which included the sales manager, and could no get a return phone call. I finally had to show up there to get any assistance. It took over a month to get the extra key and almost another month to get the manual for the car. Since they are the ones that owned the car before it was sold it doesn't make sense that this is such a problem. I have had issues with my car and when I was up there instead of her expressing any concern for my mechanical issues she was just interested in using the fact that I managed to get 3 months of Sirius free as a selling point to help her sell cars. The car still isn't running smoothly, funny how it wasn't doing this when I test drove it. I would not recommend buying a car from this location, if any enterprise location. They should stick to renting cars....they are not ready, yet. read more

Took half the day to get some minor issues on the car fixed, but it was worth the wait. Toyota dealership gave it a clean bill of health on inspection, and dealerships won't come close to their prices. People say not to buy used rental cars, but this is the way to do it if you want a newish used car. Rental cars aren't babied, but they pretty much stick to the maintenance schedules. Private owners that like to change cars every 2 years a lot of times don't do the maintenance and abuse their cars. If you but the rental, you won't get the best car, but you avoid the dice roll of maybe getting a terrible car. read more

Not what I expected. This is a no haggle dealership. Nothing wrong with that when cars are priced correctly and displayed truthfully. I was shown a 2014 Toyota LE This vehicle was a rental and was taken care of by Enterprise during its life and had passed an ASE-Certified 109 point inspection. When I viewed the vehicle, the coolant reservoir was not full. Not empty but you would expect it to have been topped off. The tires were very worn on 2 tires indicating that the tires were not rotated appropriately. There was cherry burn on the driver side A pillar. The steering wheel was misaligned. There was evidence the rear right bumper cover had been pulled loose. To me this indicates that their 109 point inspection is worthless or did not actually see an inspection. Filling fluids is easy. The uneven tire wear suggests that regular maintenance was postponed when the vehicle was needed as a rental which is concerning. How often did that happen to the oil. You will never know. I was most concerned about the steering wheel being misaligned and was told they could fix that or could pay me back. I think the van was still a fine vehicle and probably would have no issues with dependability or durability due to its rental history but Enterprise Car Sales was unwilling to revisit their appraisal of the vehicle even after pointing out these discrepancies. The car sales woman was very nice and amiable. The sales manager was not. They tried to sell me on 4 separate warranties! When I politely interrupted him and told him I would not be purchasing any warranties, he told me he was required to go over the warranties with me anyway?! I don't like driving out of my way to look at a car and then have somebody try to waste my time. Enterprise Car Sales seems to be a way for Enterprise Rental Cars to unload their old rental inventory while selling vehicles at a premium. They use book value on their vehicles and then list them to the general public. They have no interest in discussing price with you and I imagine that when a vehicle does not sell after X number of days, it will be auctioned off to car dealers willing to list it correctly or put in the actual mechanical work required to make it presentable, something Enterprise is probably not set up to do. They skip on having to really look at their vehicles and lets the car shopping public do that for them. Don't let Enterprise use you to filter through their inventory. It may be a waste of your time like it was mine. You may find a great car, or you may look at one that just won't sell because in the end, Enterprise is a Rental Car company first. Their warranty program has been investigated by nbc-2 and there are many complaints online if you search. read more

All i can say is that i feel sorry for people that did not choose enterprise. My husband almost went to Ernie Palmer Toyota and the prices were ridiculously hijacked. It was unacceptable for me so i did my own research and ran across enterprise car sales and they had good priced vehicles. I called a woman name heather and explained what my husband was looking for. She found the perfect vehicle for us in our price range. She didnt pressure my husband, wasnt pushing us to buy, she was extremely nice and understanding. My husband was in the hospital and when the car was ready for pickup we could not get it. They came and brought it to us! What car sales place does that??? We love are new car and Im glad we chose enterprise! I spoke with a lady name Tye and she was very nice and helpful! I hope that those two women are getting paid what they are worth. Long-time Enterprise Plus member. Utilized this location on 2 occasions within the last month; neither was a positive experience. A 'take it or leave it' attitude permeates from the Reps up front to employees that wash cars in the back. Apparently the meaning of customer service and a clean car are lost here. I've rented cars in 3rd world countries with more dirt roads than paved and received better customer service and cleaner cars than this location. If/when I use this brand again it won't be at this location. read more
