I felt that I had been scammed. Over the phone they said, they would give me $600.00 for my car…read more When the tow truck came I thought it was unusual that there was no business name or phone number on it nor did it have any plates on it. Tow truck driver hooks up car and takes pictures under it. He takes picture of title and my divers license. He says, we have to wait for the company to receive pictures. We have some friendly conversation. Then he looks at his phone and says, the price is determined by the fact that your catalytic convertor was original yours is not and you might have to pay us to take away the car. It this point I feel I been had. I told him to just leave the car. He said, we will have to charge you a $125.00 service fee. I told the driver I have been had, and I thought something was a miss when you don't have plates. He replies, yes I have plates it is in the back window of the truck. I couldn't see it. I told him that, and he goes in the truck to dig out a paper that had a picture of plate. After some talk we settled on a scrap amount of $200.00. I believe the catalytic convertor was OEM. We bought the car when it was three years old with a manufacturer warranty still available on the cat. We have never replaced it. They didn't mention over phone that price will be determined by if I have an OEM cat.

Absolute Nightmare dealing with Premiere Motorcars. I bought a used car here with outside financing…read moreand a trade-in. The dealer had placed plastic floor coverings over the carpet. When I removed the plastic at home, I discovered a hole cut in the carpet actively hiding severe mold growth and a quarter-inch of standing water underneath it.I returned the vehicle immediately. The manager, Mike, inspected the vehicle, acknowledged the water stating it had never been in the rain, accepted the keys, returned my trade-in, and refunded my down payment--fully and mutually dissolving the contract. However, after the deal was unwound and they had the car back, the dealership took a digital PDF copy of the credit union check I had emailed them for verification and electronically processed it without authorization to bypass a physical stop-payment order. They illegally took $30,000 in bank funds for a car they already had back on their lot. When the credit union forced them to return the money, they shorted the bank check by $151 for a fake "breach fee" and refused my phone calls. I was forced to pay the $151 out of my own pocket just to protect my bank standing. Formal dealer fraud complaints have been officially filed with the Illinois Attorney General, Illinois Secretary of State Police and the Better Business Bureau. Avoid this dealership at all costs! Update: After filing with the BBB, the dealership states the $151 IS FOR LICENSE PLATES! The car was returned with one plate, and they acknowledged they received the 2nd plate by mail. They have the car and both plates, and they still have $151 of fraudulent money! They owe me $151!
