We got married on 9/26/25 at Wedgewood Carmel, with our ceremony on the beach and our reception in the Merienda Room -- and it was truly the most perfect day! Everything ran so smoothly, and we had an absolute blast celebrating with our family and friends. We used all of Wedgewood's vendors except for the officiant (we had a family member marry us) and went outside the package for our florist, which was worth the splurge. The venue itself is breathtaking, both the beach and reception spaces are naturally beautiful, so it didn't need much beyond florals and greenery to highlight the setting. I dropped off a box of my décor on rehearsal day, and the team executed everything flawlessly. It looked like a dream! The Wedgewood team was incredible throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. Any time we had a question or concern, they were quick to help and reassure us. At one point, I was nervous about being over the guest count for our room, and they immediately called to ease my worries and offer solutions. Even when we had an unexpected issue with our dog on the wedding day, they stepped right in and helped handle it. Truly, they have your back for anything you might need. I also recommend leaning on their team for décor guidance -- they're so knowledgeable and will help you figure out what's actually worth including. The food was delicious (we chose the buffet), and we had so many guests tell us how much they loved it. For music, we gave the DJ our Spotify playlists to capture our vibe, and he absolutely nailed it. We've had countless guests tell us this was the most fun and best wedding they've ever attended, which says it all. I have zero regrets choosing Wedgewood Carmel and would relive this day a hundred times over if I could.

It's officially been one week since my husband and I got married at Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings, and we've had time to reflect on everything before writing this review. Honestly, there are a million reasons why we loved working with the team here, but most of all, we want to give a huge shoutout to Anahi, Angie, Alycia, and Sophie. These ladies made our wedding day truly unforgettable, and I hope this review gives some peace of mind to any future brides and grooms considering this venue. Meeting the Coordinators From the very first time we walked into the office, we were greeted with the warmest smiles and genuine kindness. The coordinators immediately made us feel comfortable and gave us a sense of what to expect throughout the planning process. They walked us through a 70+ page binder full of timelines, pricing, vendor recommendations, and helpful prompts. A couple of weeks later, our own personalized binder arrived in the mail -- and because I had mentioned wanting a Bridgerton-themed wedding, they even included a little themed insert just for us. That small but thoughtful gesture spoke volumes. Honestly, the reason we picked Carmel Fields wasn't just the venue itself -- it was the people in that office. Leading Up to the Wedding Throughout the planning process, communication was consistent and reassuring. Each of the coordinators worked so hard to answer all of my questions. I sent tons of emails every few weeks, and they always responded promptly -- even on busy weekends with other weddings going on. Whenever I made changes or added upgrades, they stayed positive and made sure everything was captured in their notes behind the scenes. One of the biggest burdens brides feel while planning is that constant self-doubt: Am I being too much? Am I asking too many questions? Do I even know what I'm doing? But Anahi, Angie, Alycia, and Sophie never once made me feel like I was overstepping. They reminded me that no question was too small and no request was "too much." That reassurance was priceless and kept me grounded during the process. The Day Before Our rehearsal ceremony was exceptionally seamless. Sophie was already at the venue, fully prepared to walk through all of the details with our entire bridal party and families. Her calm presence made the whole process so easy, and because of that, we had zero hiccups during the actual wedding ceremony. It gave us so much confidence going into the big day. The Wedding Day I don't even know where to begin because our wedding day honestly felt magical. Every detail we had discussed and fine-tuned was executed beautifully. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food -- at least 20 people came up to us to say how amazing it was. Nobody left hungry. We also created two custom signature drinks -- passion fruit margaritas and cherry mojitos -- and they were such a hit. One of my friends admitted she had six margaritas because they were that good! One of the most thoughtful touches was how Sophie and the staff made sure we were taken care of. Since we missed cocktail hour while taking photos by the arch, they surprised us with a huge platter of appetizers and food assortments on our sweetheart table. It included everything we had selected for the day, and it meant so much to us not to miss out. We were also worried that, with a daytime wedding, people wouldn't dance. But by 2:00 PM the dance floor was packed -- parents included! Seeing everyone so full of joy made our hearts so full. And finally, I have to give a very special thank you to Sophie Tomlinson, our day-of coordinator. She was truly the calm in the storm. The only hiccup of the day was that my bridesmaids spent about 40 minutes trying to figure out how to pin my bustle (my vintage Carolina Herrera gown didn't come with a hook). I was panicking about delaying lunch for our guests, but every time Sophie checked in, she gave me the kindest smile and assured me we had plenty of time. In those moments, it felt like time slowed down -- exactly what I needed to stay grounded. Final Thoughts If I could give one piece of advice to other brides, it would be this: treat your coordinators and vendors like true partners. They work so hard behind the scenes to bring your vision to life, and being surrounded by such sweet, dedicated people made all the difference for us. If you can, show them your appreciation with gifts or tips -- they absolutely deserve it. Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings gave us the most magical day, and we couldn't be more grateful.

We had our wedding at Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings, and it was the perfect venue for our budget. The team was wonderful to work with--always quick to answer our questions, recommend trusted vendors, and keep communication clear throughout the planning process. During planning, we worked with Anahi, who was incredibly helpful in our consultations, and on the big day Ashley was our Day-Of Coordinator. Both were fantastic, but Ashley deserves a special shoutout--she handled every last-minute change and request like a pro and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our ceremony took place on the beach and the reception at the venue. While the travel between the two caused us to run behind schedule, Ashley managed everything seamlessly. We even requested a last-minute walkthrough of the reception space before guests arrived (and squeezed in a quick practice of our first dance to test my dress!), and she made it all happen without issue. The evening itself flew by in the best way, and thanks to Ashley and the Wedgewood team, our guests never noticed the hiccups behind the scenes--they simply enjoyed a beautiful celebration. We highly recommend Carmel Fields to anyone looking for an all-inclusive wedding venue, especially if you dream of a beach ceremony with a stress-free reception to follow!

We had our wedding at Carmel Fields in December, and it was a beautiful day. At first, I had some hesitations about choosing Wedgewood because all inclusive sounds like it could be a bit cookie cutter, but I'm so glad we went with them. They allowed us to personalize so many elements, and their staff made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The Planning & Staff: We absolutely loved working with Alycia during the planning process leading up to the wedding. The whole team is so organized, responsive, and easy to work with. Every time I would email them with a question the answer was prompt and usually "Yes!". It made me feel so reassured and supported throughout. Despite a last-minute change to our day-of coordinator, the new coordinator we were paired with, Anahi, was fantastic and handled everything so well--so professional, sweet, and calming. She made everything run smoothly despite a timeline hiccup. Luis, our banquet manager, took over during the reception and I truly appreciated how attentive and organized he was. Flexibility & Customization: Wedgewood provided the structure of an all-inclusive venue, but they also allowed us the flexibility to bring in our own touches and vendors. I worked with their florist for the larger pieces (like our split ceremony arch and upgraded centerpieces) while also bringing in my own DIY florals for things like bridesmaid bouquets and bud vases. They were accommodating when it came to letting us customize certain elements, like our bar setup and décor, which helped us make the space feel like "us." The Food: The appetizers during cocktail hour were a hit--guests really raved about them! I didn't get as much feedback about the main plated meal, but our vendors mentioned they loved it. Personally, I didn't get to eat much (even though I swore I'd be a bride who did!), and I felt the food was about what I expected for a wedding. Value for the Price: Carmel is a very high-cost area, and I feel like we got a great deal for what we paid. The venue is absolutely stunning, the weather was perfectly sunny for December. We did the elite package and got upgraded chairs, top shelf liquor, a plated meal - Wedgewood's packages allowed us to have a beautiful, elevated wedding without breaking the bank. Final Thoughts: The team we worked with went above and beyond to ensure everything came together flawlessly. If you're looking for a venue that simplifies the planning process while still allowing room for personal touches, I highly recommend!

We had the most amazing wedding day thank to wedgewood weddings ! The ceremony site on the beach was spectacular! The venue and reception was so fun and I felt so well taken care of the entire day. Alycia is incredible and the whole team really brings it together for your perfect day ! We planned the entire wedding from Colorado, sight unseen and were blown away by how perfect it was. Thank you all! Highly recommend!

This venue was amazing! This was the first and only venue my husband and I looked at because we fell in love instantly. The workers are so friendly and always there when you have any questions (and I had A LOT). They were timely with their responses and never hid any costs. The venue was beautiful to say the least; my husband & I got married on the beach and it was everything we hoped for. Our day of coordinator, Sophie, was so sweet. The ceremony was set up perfectly after just showing her my photo inspo. Also, it's very nice you can bring all your own decor if you please, which I did and Sophie set it up exactly how I envisioned. The reception was also beautiful in the set up with the spider draping I added to our package. The food & drinks were just as good as when we first tried them. We had a carving station and a chicken option, along with the fan favorite, tortellini. The vendors they use were also so helpful and sweet and met all of our needs! Our friends had a fantastic time, some saying the best wedding they've attended! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding and it was all thanks to Carmel Fields!

If you're looking for a wedding that you will remember forever, I highly recommend booking with Carmel Fields by Wedgewood. The reception space was absolutely amazing--spacious, stylish, and perfect for a celebration. The staff made sure we felt comfortable and promptly addressed any issues or questions we had. My wife and I want to give a special shoutout to our main coordinator Alycia! She was truly amazing and it was a perfect day thanks to her. With her attention to detail and sharing our vision. We also want to thank Anahi and Angie and everyone who made our special day truly magical. They were incredibly friendly, well-coordinated, and organized. They ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the night without a single worry. This made the day feel stress-free for everyone and allowed us to relax and watch all our family and friends enjoy the wedding--whether it was on the dance floor or at the bar enjoying drinks! There are so many great things we could say about this place, but I'll simply let the reviews speak for themselves! My wife and I had an excellent experience. The rooms, including the bridal suite and groom's suite, were beautifully set up, the food was delicious, the bar had amazing drinks and their vendors made the planning process effortless. We truly appreciated how the coordinators and vendors made everything so easy and stress-free. We are so glad that we chose a Wedgewood location! It was such a wonderful day, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Love, David & Cristal 02.22.25

I loved my experience with Wedgewood Weddings Carmel! Angie and Sophie were amazing to work with on the day of my wedding. They were very attentive to all the small details but also did not bombard me with logistics. They also went above and beyond with the decorations I gave them for the reception room. I linked a picture below. All the greenery on the ceiling beams were hung by them with little directions. And it turned out beautifully! So grateful for the team there. One note for those who are booking with wedgewoods: they have many different forms of communication. Text, emails, phone calls, etc. It was near our wedding when I clarified a few things I texted them previously, and they didn't recall. So there was a bit of confusion. But it worked out in the end so just a heads up, maybe keep one form of communication? Or ask how they prefer it.

When my husband and I first started dating, we celebrated our one-year anniversary in Monterey--so Monterey and Carmel have always held a special place in our hearts. One year ago, we had the absolute joy of getting married at Wedgewood Weddings Carmel, and we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible experience they provided. From the moment we began planning--years before our actual wedding day--the entire Wedgewood team was incredibly responsive, patient, and supportive. No matter how many questions I had (and I had thousands!), they answered each one with kindness, flexibility, and positivity. We were lucky to have Anahi as our day-of venue coordinator, and she was so sweet and calming throughout the entire day. We also hired Tiffany as our event coordinator, and both women worked seamlessly together to make sure everything went perfectly. From the setup to the breakdown and all the little details in between, they had it covered, allowing us to fully enjoy our day stress-free. Our ceremony took place on Monastery Beach, and it was truly magical--especially since it ended up being the only sunny day that entire week! It made everything feel even more special and meant to be. Our reception was held in the Fiesta Room, which turned out to be the perfect space for our celebration. We had originally booked the Merienda Room but decided to switch to better accommodate our dance floor and table layout needs. The team made that transition so easy, and the result was beautiful. We even set up a cigar bar in the courtyard, which our guests loved! Speaking of guests--they're still raving about the amazing food. We chose the Premier Package with a buffet option, and everything was top-notch. During Cocktail Hour, we served: * Fresh mozzarella & grape tomato caprese skewers * Hummus duo (red pepper & cilantro lime) with pita chips * Mac & cheese panko croquettes * Mini crab cakes with spicy remoulade * Pulled pork canapés with pineapple salsa * Chicken & waffles with bourbon syrup Dinner featured: * A salad bar with 8 assorted salads * Five cheese tortellini with pesto Parmesan * Panko Parmesan-crusted chicken with sherry cream * A carving station with roasted prime rib au jus and creamed horseradish Sides included garlic butter mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and bread & butter. For dessert, we had a delicious two-tier cake (lemon and tuxedo with Chantilly frosting) and an espresso machine. We also brought in a dessert bar from Sweet Condesa, which was a huge hit! From start to finish, the Wedgewood Weddings Carmel team made us feel seen, supported, and celebrated. They truly went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, and we are forever grateful for how they made our special day unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone dreaming of a beautiful, seamless wedding experience in such a magical setting. - Rose and Eric

Where do I even begin? The coordinator was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, they managed every detail flawlessly and never missed a beat. Their professionalism, organization, and calm demeanor under pressure were exceptional. Truly, they deserve recognition for their outstanding work! The wedding would not have been as beautiful and seamless without their expertise. They ensured every detail was perfect, timelines were followed, and any potential issues were handled effortlessly. They brought the vision for the day to life in a way that exceeded all expectations. Not only did they keep everything running smoothly, but they also made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. From coordinating with vendors to keeping everyone on schedule and checking in to make sure we were happy and stress-free, they went above and beyond in every possible way. We are so grateful for their dedication, expertise, and genuine care in making the day unforgettable. Highly recommend their services! Additionally, a special shoutout to the team member who handled everything so gracefully at the end of the night - their patience and professionalism with guests were greatly appreciated. We couldn't thank them enough for their hard work! Photos taken from Drew Zavala Photo IG page

The basilica is still a working parish, so parking during non-mass hours was easy to find. A ticket booth was set-up at the visitor entrance, with cost of $15 per adult ($13 for senior). If you are considering Holly Farm as the venue for your wedding, and you just want the tl;dr, then…read morehere are my three most important suggestions for you: 1) You should absolutely go with Holly Farm. 2) You should accept every piece of advice Erin, Ryan, and the rest of the incredible team have for you along the way. 3) You should start getting excited right now about La Creme because their food is out of this world. Picking Holly Farm as our venue was the first choice we made in our wedding planning process, and trust me when I say that it was by far the best one. The pictures speak for themselves, and yes, it's as amazing as it looks (though if you haven't visited, you should take the excuse - it's truly stunning in person), but the real game changer is the team. The Holly Farm fam has been at this for decades, and it SHOWS. They cater to your needs and your vision, whether you want to be super hands on and into the nitty gritty on everything, or whether you want somebody to completely take the reins for you. We were so so appreciative for Erin's help during the planning process; any time we were stuck on something, she had a recommendation ready that was never just "off the shelf". We didn't want to be totally consumed by wedding planning all the time, and even though Erin had a big list of vendors ready to go, we were more than happy to listen every time she said "here's the 2 who I think you guys would love". It's really really telling to me that every single vendor we spoke to - without exception, including the ones we didn't end up choosing - all said some version of the same thing: "oh man I LOVE doing weddings at Holly Farm". Here's what I'll say about the weekend itself - it truly feels like you are staying at a luxury resort where you and your friends are the only guests. The entire staff is so attentive, so friendly, and they take care of all the details and logistics so that your only job really is to just enjoy the weekend and stay relaxed. We cooked a huge friends and family dinner in the Adobe and they cleaned the entire kitchen for us! Anytime we were hanging out in the evenings they rolled the portable heaters up without us asking! They moved our rental equipment around to make cool outdoor spaces for us so that we could get more use out of it than just the wedding itself! And nothing felt so satisfying as passing by Ryan on a path and hearing "hey I just lit your fireplace for you!". Of everything we loved about our wedding, the thing we loved most was getting to have this full weekend experience with our closest friends and family in one place, made truly special by the care the entire Holly Farm team put into making us feel at ease and at home. And one final thing - lest I leave you with the impression that this is only about good vibes - the operations for the wedding itself were incredible. Every vendor knows the team and knows the venue, everything works like clockwork without you having to supervise anything, and Erin, Ryan, and their staff have things so tightly coordinated that we didn't have to stress about logistics at all once the weekend got started. I can't emphasize enough how big a difference that made to us compared to some horror stories we'd heard from other weddings. Here are some final quick hits on other things you might be wondering about - but seriously, pick Holly Farm: - I didn't write an entire review for Tamie and La Creme, because it would be just as long, but they do amazing work. This is straight up excellent food, not excellent "wedding" food. - The rooms and buildings are very cool and very comfortable. - Yes, the Paraiso suite is "open air". Yes, it really does stay warm. Having a roaring fire in there, plus a heated blanket on the bed....A+. - The optional River House for extra space is definitely walkable (~3 mins), but it's nice to have flashlights at night. - Having the flexibility to use the space however you want for the entire weekend is a highly highly underrated perk. We had people hanging out on Thursday and Friday and it was a ton of fun. Highly recommend making plans that utilize the space every day. - We were nervous about the higher cost at first, but asking friends and family who stayed on site to pay for rooms turned out to not be a very big deal, and what we charged them was still way less than area hotels. - The music has to switch from DJ's speakers to house speakers at 9:30pm, but the house speakers can stay on all night if you want. We had just as much fun after the switchover. - No curfew is also a huge perk not to overlook. Erin and Ryan if you're reading this THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN YOU GUYS ARE ROCK STARS!!

Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. The love we had for each other and for our family and friends that traveled from across the country to celebrate with us was reflected in the beauty and spirit of Holly Farm and all of the wonderful folks that work there. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and charm of the space. It was as if every inch of the venue was designed to make us and our guests feel at home, while still capturing an elevated, magical atmosphere that was simply unforgettable. Everyone at Holly Farm went above and beyond to ensure each detail of our wedding weekend was flawless. Their attention to detail was extraordinary, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Ryan and Erin were so caring and attentive, and they made us feel like family. They were there for every little detail and made us feel completely at ease. The food, catered by La Creme, was nothing short of five star restaurant quality. We've received countless compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was! This was a big deal, especially coming from our families who are used to extravagant New Jersey weddings with an abundance of food. They all told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, which is about the highest praise you can get from a family who knows food! Everything about The Holly Farm was perfect--from the gorgeous, tropical setting that felt like a hidden paradise against the coastal backdrop of Carmel to the impeccable service and food. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful, heartfelt, and memorable experience, and our friends and family STILL haven't stopped raving about it! Our wedding weekend was made even more special thanks to the onsite haciendas where we, along with some of our close friends, stayed. The houses were cozy yet luxurious, and perfectly appointed with a level of service that truly felt five-star. Each detail was perfect, from the unbelievably comfortable beds to the wood burning fires that were lit by hand each night and the wonderful house staff that made everyone feel at home the moment they arrived. Getting to spend the whole weekend in such an enchanting space made the whole wedding feel so much more special, a truly immersive experience vs a single-day event. We loved discovering the countless nooks and crannies throughout the property where our friends and family could relax, chat, and soak in the surroundings. It created a sense of intimacy and closeness that made the entire experience feel so special. When the weekend was over, we genuinely didn't want to leave. Heck, we may even crash the wedding that's probably getting ready to kick off this weekend! The Holly Farm made every moment magical, and we will forever cherish our time spent there with the people we love most.

The 3-4 months leading up to the day left us feeling unsure of who our day-of Event Manager would be and insecure in our communication with the venue. I was very close to hiring my own day-of coordinator after doing all of the planning myself, but ultimately decided to have faith in the Events by Classic team. Luckily, Susan was our day-of Event Manager and ended up staying with us the entire day. She did a great job executing the decor, managing vendors, and making our day as smooth as possible. The event staff were friendly, kind, and very attentive and the food was fantastic! Many of our guests commented on how good the food was. All in all, we are happy we had our wedding here!

In 2026, this prestigious event celebrates its 23rd year at Quail Lodge & Golf Club. Most importantly, you need an invitation. Start by signing up for their newsletter and mailing list. When registration emails are sent out in early January, don't hesitate to purchase your tickets to secure your credentials. It isn't inexpensive, as tickets for the 2026 event are $1,600 per person. Miss that window, and you may find yourself on a waitlist. If you're fortunate enough to obtain tickets, you'll have the option of receiving e-tickets. I passed on that and opted to have my credentials mailed instead. They arrive in a beautifully presented Quail box complete with an entry wristlet and parking pass, making for a wonderful keepsake from the event. Next, choose an outfit that's both classy and comfortable, slip on sensible shoes, grab your favorite luxury handbag, and you're off to The Quail! The last couple of years we've attended, the weather had been absolutely perfect. That said, mornings can be cool, so pack a light sweater and perhaps a hat. Think of it as an elegant garden party. You'll spend most of the day walking across grass and paved pathways, so stiletto heels aren't the best choice, unless you're determined to be uncomfortable while aerating the golf course. Pro Tip: Arrive early. This is, after all, Monterey Car Week. Tens of thousands of enthusiasts and extraordinary automobiles from around the world descend upon the Monterey Peninsula during the week, creating traffic that local roads were never designed to handle. Giving yourself extra time will minimize stress and maximize your enjoyment once you're inside. Since we weren't displaying a car, our credentials included general parking. However, driving a Ferrari apparently comes with a few unofficial perks. As we entered the lot, the parking attendant waved us over and directed us to park alongside a collection of other supercars surrounding a grassy knoll. Once inside, procure your glass of champagne and don't forget to snap a photo in front of the iconic Quail monument sign featuring the event organizers, The Peninsula Signature Events. As we wandered through the beautifully manicured grounds, admiring the marque displays, we naturally made our first stop at the oyster stand. What better way to begin the day than with champagne and freshly shucked oysters? Scattered throughout the venue are numerous gourmet food pavilions serving an incredible variety of cuisines, accompanied by equally impressive wines, spirits, and cocktails. My advice? Don't stop at the very first pavilion you encounter. With so many outstanding options available, you'll want to pace yourself. Study the event map beforehand, note the vendors that interest you most, and plan your culinary adventure accordingly. The Quail is also one of our favorite places to reconnect with friends, both fellow racers and automotive enthusiasts. It's not uncommon to find yourself mingling with motorsport executives and industry leaders while discovering the latest innovations in the automotive world. Two years ago, we had the pleasure of meeting Christian von Koenigsegg, founder of Koenigsegg Automotive AB. This past year, we met David Lee, whose legendary Ferrari collection includes the famous "ketchup, mustard, and relish" trio. If you know, you know. Monterey Car Week also features several world-class collector car auctions. At The Quail, Broad Arrow Auctions showcases approximately 175 of the world's most desirable collector cars. Even if you're not in the market to buy, browsing the consignments is an attraction all on its own. I hope everyone has the opportunity to experience The Quail at least once. It certainly helps if you love exceptional food, fine champagne, remarkable automobiles, and unforgettable experiences--which, fortunately for us, we absolutely do.

To be frank, I was too lazy to walk to the front (a whole 2 minutes) to go up to the desk to ask. But next time... I fully plan to get a s'mores kit. haha! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed, sheets and bedding were very comfortable and I slept great. This is unusual for me as I don't normally sleep very well in 'strange' beds. We only ate at Covey Grill once and it was very good. The convenience of having a nice restaurant on property is a major plus.

It was the right thing to do because at the end of the year my husbands grandfather passed away, we are so fortunate that he made our wedding. With that said, planning a wedding is stressful. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is next level. Luckily, I had Emily from a sparkling event by my side every step of the way. Emily was literally a God send. From the minute I got engaged (before the pandemic) to planning all the details, Emily was there answering all my questions and handling tough things like discrepancies with vendors and making sure things got done in a timely manner. But when the day came, and I looked all around me, it was worth it. I got to marry my husband knowing that all the blood sweat and tears Emily and I had endured was priceless and I am forever grateful for her support and her let's get it done attitude.
