As I've been going through the insurance process with some crooked insurance agents on the other side, it has been comforting to know that my car is at a place with people who will not manipulate or take advantage of the situation. This is by far the best experience I've ever had. It was super weird bc AAA said no one in the area was available and to just call the closest towing company and they'd reimburse me. I was a little wary bc I don't know how to know if a towing company is good or sketchy? Which is why I came to yelp, and I'm so glad I did. I called and the guy on the phone was like 'it sounds like your battery, do you want us to come replace it" and i was like 'my lights still turn on, is that an indicator of anything besides the battery" and he was like 'nah' and then explained electric currents and shit. It was really helpful and he was so kind and legitimately wanted to help. He said he could have a guy to me in 20 mins AND HE DID. I would do zero stars if possible! Julio the service tech sent out was the worst! Battery was replaced by carmel through AAA. A few days later my car won't start at 4am when I get off from work. Uber home. When I uber back to work the next day I look at the positive terminal post and its broken because he tightened it too much. Car is a 2015 and it was the original battery nobody had put hands on the vehicle besides the dealer! Good price on the battery but not worth the savings with these poorly trained "techs" who don't know what they are doing! Wow - the owner of this company just cussed me out when I asked him why he wouldn't accept my mom's credit card when I had a photo ID and card number for her. He was also extremely rude to his employee who was just doing his job and giving him my credit card that I gave him when he refused to take the other one. (My mom was trying to help me out when my tire was flat unexpectedly.) He actually said "go fuck yourself" and "stop running your mouth" and "I don't care what the fuck you think of me!" then forced his driver to leave without fixing my car. I have never been cussed out before and I am actually shaken up that anyone can act like this and still be in business. Im going to report to triple A and the BBB. Be warned, the drivers and mechanics seem great but the owner is probably the worst human being I've ever come across. He also had his sister pick up the phone when I called back to complain and he was cussing at me from the background like an insane person. Super unprofessional. read more
