We missed them a couple weeks ago when they came to Pine and Porch in E City, but after reading the…read moremenu we knew we had to go to them the second they returned. Saw they were coming back and cancelled our leftover plans to head to Pine and Porch, they were set up and taking orders when we arrived at around 6 and service was super kind. We ordered the Bulgogi Fries, Steamed Shitake Dumplings, a Spam Musubi, and the Maui Wowie Cheeseburger. WE ARE IN LOVE. It was my first spam musubi, a simple but incredible flavor bomb and should have gotten 100 of them, is that legal? The marinated and sauced up ribeye on the bulgogi fries was so friggin flavorful and the fries were oh so crispy. I don't want to talk about the burger, because if I do I might get emotional, GET THE BURGER smashed, burnt ends and still juicy topped with the bacon jam, the cheese, the fried onions no sauce needed it's perfect as is. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of the burg, I was hungry, you'll have to trust it was very pretty to look at. The dumplings were the perfect side to contrast our fried heaven and the chili crisp was flavorful and electric. Anyways, can't wait to come back for bowls so we can hit up the rest of the menu.

I never heard of them before so I was interested to see what they had to offer. They are Asian-Pacific cuisine. They had burgers that were Asian inspired, pork belly bun, wings, bowls and etc. I ordered pork belly buns, bulgogi chicken bowl and fries. Pork Belly - the buns were soft and pillowy. The belly was seasoned so good, tender and yummy! The best I've had!! Bulgogi Chicken bowl- chicken was well marinated that reminds me of like a Japanese BBQ soy sauce based. It had a nice cooked char to it. Chicken thighs were used making it tender. This was so YUM! Fries- were the crinkly ones salted nicely lol Customer Service- was the best!! Very friendly and kept you informed how much longer your food will be. They give you a buzzer so you don't have to wait around the truck. The owners were awesome. They post on their website of where they will be so if you see them, please stop by and check them out. It's worth it!

I was happy the yelp reviews did not disappoint us. I got burnt end meat. So juicy and tender. I highly recommend it. With + $9 for 2 sides. We had corn pudding (really good) and Smokey turkey collard greens (a little salty). chicken nuggets were very good. Tasted so fresh and juicy. Many sauces on table for you to try. Self re-fill beverage station (love they have unsweetened tea choice). Both Air-conditioned dining area and outdoor dining. Clean and efficient. The staff were so nice and friendly.

We had to put in the order at the counter first before grabbing a table in one of the shack style sitting areas. They had 7 different styles of meat and 9 different sides. They also sold snack, house made sauces and some merchandises of their brand. I ordered the 2 meat platter with beef brisket and chopped beef. Within few minutes of ordering, they brought the order out to the table. I liked the chopped beef but didn't like the brisket. Tried the burned end also that was good actually. The chicken nuggets I got for my daughter were the best. They were so tasty. The side of corn pudding was also excellent. The shack we sat in was really hot since there was no AC, just a normal fan was blowing air. It was self service so we got the utensils, soda and water. They had ketchup, vinegar, mustard, bbq and white sauces available in the condiment area. Overall it was a decent spot but bbq meat fell short in taste for me.

If you love burritos, you need to track down The Coop food truck. Hands down my favorite food truck…read morein Virginia Beach! I stopped by during their pop up at Farmhouse Brewery and, once again, they did not disappoint. One thing you need to know: their burritos are massive. We're talking "the size of your head" big, so come hungry or be ready for some epic leftovers. The menu is small and focused (usually around four burrito choices), but every single one is packed with quality ingredients and flavor. The Coop spends most days serving on base, but keep an eye out for their local pop-ups. They're always worth chasing down. This time around, I ordered the Pepper Jack Chicken Burrito which was grilled chicken breast, maple bacon, melty pepper jack cheese, and their signature Coop Sauce, all bundled up in a warm tortilla. Every bite was the perfect balance of hearty, savory, spicy, and just a hint sweet from the bacon. Their Coop sauce is one of a kind. Tangy, and delicious. I'm sure adding an egg would take it to the next level (that's an option on all burritos). My friends had the Breakfast Burrito! This one comes with fluffy scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar cheese, juicy sausage, more of that craveable maple bacon, herby potatoes, and (of course) the signature Coop Sauce. They raved about every bite. I appreciate that The Coop keeps things simple with their streamlined menu and focus on top-notch burritos. Whenever I see them around town, I make it a point to stop ... even if there's a line, it moves fast and is absolutely worth the wait. Whether you're looking for a new lunch favorite or just crave seriously great street food, The Coop is a true gem on the Virginia Beach food truck scene. Can't wait to catch them at their next pop-up!
