I can get a little here and there from the owner about the food since she's a women of few words Hahaa LOL! But she does care about the quality of food she puts out. She said she cooks with virgin olive oil, including the fried stuff vs the yucky oils. That's a win for me! And she uses quality meat and ingredients. I love how well they treated Mak Mariano, and his friends, and also those that came to see and hang out with him. The staff were very kind to allow us all to hang out and take pictures. The food- My hubby ate while I enjoyed hanging out, listening to, and watching Mak tell stories and interact with everyone. Hubby enjoyed the food as always. This was our 2nd time or 3rd time coming here, and even though I can't remember what we had, I know for sure we enjoyed the food. This time around my hubby had Kare-kare and really liked it! The service was excellent-- friendly, patient, and helpful. You can pick and choose different entrees over rice or pancit. Similar to getting food from Panda Express. The inside of the restaurant has several family friendly seatings available and baked goods and market also. Lastly, parking is free and plentiful right across from the front entrance. The older lady welcomed and greeted us, and walked us to our table. She was a very enthusiastic lady and was very happy to have us dine at her restaurant. I loved her energy! The food we ordered were mostly her recommendations, and they were delicious! I also liked that they had the Churchill China Blue Willow plates. As I looked around the restaurant, every guest seemed to enjoy their food. Overall, we had a great dining experience and I think most of it was because of the lady's energy. The food was delicious.
