My GOODNESS I hadn't realized I never reviewed this place before. I have a routine when I am in town visiting my Ma. My love of gourmet markets brought me here and they have such a neat compact neighborhood market. An assortment of cheeses, great wine selection, fresh vegetables, deli counter that has fresh yummy side dishes and also offer tasty sandwiches as well. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. Went to Amici Market on Wednesday and I have to say I had a great lunch! I ordered the Amici Burger on door dash pickup with onion rings and fries. The market is wonderful inside and had a great atmosphere, the staff is friendly and always on top of everything. Now for the food review. We got something worth trying which was the Amici Burger! 10 dollars well spent! The flavor and the juice from this burger was just amazing and def altered my top 10 burger tier list. Daym Drops would be amazed as I got a nice fresh bun that was toasted on the inside and still have a nice soft bun action on the outside. It was more medium than medium rare, but it was still a great burger to eat! The fries could have used some love in the seasoning department as there was no salt, but I'm assuming there's a good reason behind it. The onion rings had a great batter and flavor to it as well! Next time I come here, I'm going to order a pizza and see if it breaks another tier list I have! Thanks for reading and be sure to try it out!

The prices have gone up $1 per slice since my last review almost a year ago. It's completely reasonable though, $4.25 for anything in Palm Beach, Florida is a great deal. The ingredients they use taste excellent. Virtually everything about it. I love. The only thing that I personally would change about the pizza is for the crust on the bottom to be a little harder. Otherwise we're golden here.

Greens and uncommon fresh mushrooms. Like lion's mane for example.

The island would not be the same without this authentic Italian market. Fresh is an understatement. Plenty of produce. A fresh meat butcher as well as the freshest seafood selection I've seen. And I'm a local fisherman who knows quality and freshness. In addition the high quality cheese, vegetable, and fruits make this place a gem. This market also boasts a fresh juice bar (Everglade), a hot bar (choices rotate) and a cold bar. I usually get the pizza (even the veggie lovers was delicious). The cold bar has great gazpacho along with a variety of unique pasta salads. On the opposite side of the market is a wall of fine wines and the staff is always pairs my food selection to a tee. Not fancy enough yet? Craft small batch caviar is offered in a small refrigerator by the juice station. The ambiance is great all times of day. The different zones flow together with a bright clean, organized aesthetic. There is even a couple small tables to sit in the back and have your lunch. Or with just a 5 minute walk to the beach, one could enjoy their juice or lunch by the water. Best of all there is always plenty of parking in front of the building. Green's Pharmacy is located next door which is great because I can knock out two birds with one stone some days.

Precious little market with plenty of vegan options thankfully. Pay it a visit & discover plenty of different ethnic grocery items that can only be located in a few spots, this being one of the most adorable ones you can find in palm beach county.

The hot case is right next to the pizza, so you would think if the lady asked for some meatballs he would take care of it, especially since the deli line was so long. The guy in the pizza station had no customers, but still told the lady she had to wait and ask the deli for the THREE meatballs she wanted. Checking out was the same. Just rude, no acknowledgment. So the dirty water gun was soaking in water that he was about to pour into people's glasses. I almost threw up. Then....we witnessed him drop the water jug into the ice - the same ice that servers were using to make drinks. Who knows where the bottom of the water jug has been as I'm sure he has put it down a time or two on bar tops, table tops, etc. And now, it's sitting in the ice. Gross. Lastly, there had to be 100 flies all over the outside bar. Regular flies and also fruit flies. The Lobster Salad Melt was definitely a popular choice. My husband thought the menu was huge and had so many things we wanted so we decided that we had to order the Whitefish Salad with Rye Bread and a Turkey Reuben. The complimentary added pickles made the meal perfect. Our server, Tyra, was great! She had a great attitude and made sure that we had everything we needed right down to the take home containers for our leftovers since the portions are so big. Everything we ordered was delicious and I was a little skeptical when I looked at the ingedients because it seemed like there was a lot of colorful fillers in the whitefish (and all their salads that are scooped) but it worked to give an added flavor but not over powering the fish flavor. The restaurant was clean and definitely could tell that it had been around for a long time. A lot of the foods and selections that made this place special have disappeared from the menu, and now the customer service seems to be going in the same direction. Today I stopped in for somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4 pound of lox. It's just me eating it, so I didn't need a full quarter pound. The woman at the counter told me, rather abruptly, that she would only sell me a quarter pound. I explained that I wanted an eighth and that a little over was perfectly fine. Her response was essentially, "I'm only selling a quarter pound." Fortunately, the gentleman slicing the lox simply listened to what I was asking for and took care of me. Thank you to him. To the woman working the register/counter today: customer service matters, especially for a longtime local business where people remember how good the place used to be. A simple request from a paying customer shouldn't turn into an argument over a couple of ounces of lox. I genuinely want to see this place succeed, but if the quality, selection, and customer service continue in this direction, I have a hard time seeing Gourmet Deli House being around much longer.

I just want to touch base about my most recent visit to Lenora's. I've been to this location about three times. This is the location on Dixie Highway. They have open air seating, which is really nice on most evenings. This particular evening we arrived about 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close more like 35 minutes before they were scheduled to close at 10 PM. It was a Friday night. We ordered a pizza and the rigatoni with mushrooms and cream sauce and I wanted to add a piece of salmon to it. After we sat down, my boyfriend's pizza came out in about seven minutes maximum. It was piping hot. The cheese was kind of sloppy and all over the place. It didn't really look like it was made with love. But he said it was good. My food however, took about 20 to 25 minutes longer than his pizza did. He was done eating his entire pizza before my food came out. That's never a good situation. They could've at least warned us of that, or let us know that that would be the case if they didn't realize it until they started making the food. There were only two other tables there. Once my food did come out, the salmon that I added for protein was almost $15. Obscene! I could get almost 3 pounds of salmon for that amount. It was maybe a 6 ounce piece maybe. And when they brought it out, it was raw in the middle. So I had to send it back and that was not met with a positive attitude, even though we brought up the issue with a very positive attitude despite having to wait almost 30 minutes for me to even get my food after my boyfriend had finished his pizza. They brought the salmon back and when they returned it, the employee was very pleasant and asked if I wanted to check it first. I ended up eating half of the pasta and packing the rest up to take home because by this time it was a few minutes after 10 o'clock and we didn't want to sit there as the only table left when we knew that they were obviously ready for closing time. One thing I must say is that I think divine intervention kept me in a great mood because they played my favorite journey song, they played my favorite song of all time, which is Tears for Fears. Everybody wants to rule the world, and then they played Bob Seger, who is definitely the artist who would've been my boyfriend or at least my celebrity crush had I've been born a few years earlier.
