This store almost makes me love grocery shopping again!…read more What a fun , refreshing grocery store. There is a bar inside where you can order and walk around( in designated areas) with your beer or cocktail while you shop. They have a deli/cafe area that you can order from and sit and eat. The prices are great. The store is laid out very well. Produce is arranged nicely and is so colorful. They have a few produce items that most grocery stores in the area don't carry. They also carry quite a few different brands of food that are also not in any of our local grocery stores. They source their meat locally and have a nice variety of meats and seafood. The bakery is nice. Open to watch them work and I think most things are made at this location. It's a fun, different grocery shopping experience. Would be nice to have another Woods location a little further North. Go check them out!

Prices seemed reasonable across the board and the sale priced items were very much on sale not just a few cents off!!! They also have a food court that makes excellent pizza and a tap room featuring mirror image beer as well as several great guest taps. Bakery and deli really amazing too Yum!!! Full liquor store attached next door but you do have to walk outside and back into that area. I wish I lived closer I'd shop every day!!!

And the coveted Five Stars from Barry G. goes to…read more..... The Bottled Olive in Windsor! Here we go. This unassuming storefront appeared about 18 months ago in the strip of shops that are just across the parking lot and west of King Soopers. If I average 10 visits to King Soopers per month, that means I've driven by this place nearly 200 times while staring at the sign, wondering how a shop that sells bottled olives could survive, and just being too rushed to make time to stop in and check it out. There's also a dentist office over in that strip of shops - and I maintain a strict 100-foot rule when it comes to those places (except Dr. Owens....see my Yelp on Owen's Dentistry for more details). ANYWAY... So, why the big delay in visiting The Bottled Olive? Well, I guess, I expected olives. In bottles. I've got nothing against bottled olives. In fact, that's usually when olives look their most spiffy. But I drove close enough to the front a few days ago and saw that they offer infused olive oils and vinegars. Hmmmm...mental note, I thought.... So, today, we made a point of checking-off one of my many mental notes and stopped in to check it out. Two things became immediately clear. First, I'd made a giant mistake by not visiting this place way earlier. Second, this wasn't going to be a quick stop. Samples of dips, jams, mustards, spreads and even Bloody Mary mixes lined the walls before we even got to the showcase line-up of 30+ oils and vinegars at the rear of the store. Oil flavors included things like Blood Orange, Peppered Bacon, Avocado, Wild Rosemary, and Sweet Cream Butter. Next to the oils were a wide variety of vinegars such as Cucumber, Toasted Coconut, Mango, Summer Peach, and Spicy Sriracha - along with some more traditional balsamic options. It was nearly too much to process - so we jumped right into sampling! The flavors were incredible, and the staff offered great use suggestions. They also had printed materials with great ways to include their "O&V"s in healthy meals. The store offers all kinds of popcorn flavorings, lots of unique pastas (imported from Italy, no less), various coffees and teas, and some very cool gift ideas. If I wasn't already feeling terrible about assuming "bottled olives" (seriously?), owner Michelle showed us their kitchen and told us all about their cooking classes and their themed evenings where they prepare 5-course meals for attendees while providing insights on how to incorporate their products into a healthy and tasty lifestyle. We checked out their website and cooking schedule when we got home, and we've already booked the "Backyard Daddy's Grub" cooking event with our new friends at The Bottled Olive at the end of this month! A convenient location, reasonable prices, incredible flavors, friendly staff.... wait for it..... OLIVE this place!

Did I travel back in time or just visit "that" Safeway in Loveland? Unfortunately, it's the second…read moreoption. I don't know what year the store was last decorated, but it reminds me of the 90s or early 2000s (at best). The signs literally made me laugh at how old they were, from the department signs to the aisles. The aisles contained things like "WEIGHT CONTROL" and "INCONTINENTS" (spelling) and many spots were missing. All of the fonts and artistic style screamed outdated. The cabinets and walls at customer service and the bakery are also very old. If the old was clean and well kept, that would be different, but throughout the store there was visible floor damage, scratches, and lots of weird large empty spaces on the floor. There was a limited selection of many popular healthy items such as gluten free, vegetarian, vegan which can be found in large quantities in other stores - a miss for those with any food allergies! I was going to pick up some ice cream, but the entirety of the freezer area seemed broken - there was a good half an inch or so of ice covering every item. One set of entry doors seems permanently closed, and the signs appear to be from 2020. The parking lot is in bad shape. The checker was kind, but wow - I'm kind of in shock that the store is allowed to operate under the Safeway brand with this condition.

People stare at you for too long. Inside is very outdated and kind of dirty/broken down. Wouldn't shop here for produce - only packaged/frozen goods that I have ***checked the expiration dates on***. Homeless people loitering all day, sleeping on the ground outside. I'm much more comfortable going the extra three minutes up the road to King's.
