This review is for the pharmacy…read more I picked up a prescription yesterday. There's a note in my file about needing a certain generic for this drug because I don't react well to others. I had no reason not to trust that they gave me the right thing but when I got home, I discovered that it was the wrong generic and that this particular generic is one I've had a very bad reaction to (likely it's an additive since generics can vary the additives but not the main ingredients). The pharmacy was closed by the time I got home so I called this morning. I was told they won't take back the unopened package (it comes prepackaged, it's not something they manually count) and I'd have to get a new fill from my provider, which isn't going to happen because I get this medication from an online provider. And I'll have to eat the cost since I pay cash due to my insurance not covering the drug. I also do not have any for my dose tonight. I've been trying literally all day to get them to see reason. I was told by the pharmacy manager that it was on me since I didn't verify that the medication was right. How, exactly, am I supposed to do that when they immediately put it in a paper bag as fast as they can, and won't let you see or handle it, until you pay. I was told since I paid for it they won't do anything about it. The system is rigged to allow them to make mistakes and not fix them. It's disgusting and predatory that they won't do anything to fix it. Go anywhere else for your Rx needs. I'm going to be switching all of my family's medications somewhere else and tell every single person I know to do the same.

Walmart knows more about what tires belong on your vehicle than you do. Doesn't matter if you've…read morebought 30 sets of tires in your life, have a YouTube channel about working on cars, and have driven professionally. They know better than you! I already knew that they'd only sell you the tire size that originally came on your vehicle. That we-know-best policy is why I default to Discount Tire. But Walmart had a really low price on tires for my F250, so I ordered a couple. (The rears were worn out and the fronts were fine.) I answered every question, made an appointment, and paid for both the tires and installation. After driving 45 minutes, I arrived early for my appointment. Stood around waiting for anyone to show up at the service desk for several minutes. Finally a girl did, moving slowly. I told her why I was there. She asked if the F250 was 4 wheel drive. Yes it is. "Our policy is to only install 4 new tires on a 4 wheel drive. Would you like to install 4?" No thanks, the front tires have a lot of life left. "Well, our policy won't let us install your 2 new tires." I never use 4 wheel drive on pavement, but they couldn't care less. Later, they sent me a text saying they'd cancelled the appointment because I hadn't shown up. Argh!!! If you want to have a dumb, customer-unfriendly, we-know-best policy like that, that's your decision to make, but don't let me make an appointment, wait a week, waste a morning going to the appointment, and then refuse to perform the service that you scheduled, plus required me to pay for in advance. At this point, Walmart could be giving away tires and I'd still go elsewhere.

The lady at the self check section refused to sell because of the Norwegian drivers license. Eventually she asked my DOB and let me buy. Hmmm. I then asked a manager. He said 'it is a Colo State law'. Well, I looked it up. Here's the relevant excerpt from the relevant statute, mostly concerned with proof of age for purchases: 2025 COLORADO LIQUOR RULES DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division 1 CCR 2023-2, Regulation 47-912. Identification. 1. Producing adequate identification of age, including any verified digital identification, that is valid and unexpired. Identification of age is adequate if it contains a picture and date of birth and is one of the following: a. Any type of driver's license, or identification card issued by any state within the United States, the District of Columbia, any U.S. Territory, or ANY FOREIGN COUNTRY, including Canada or Mexico; (capitalization for emphasis) So, Mr. King Soopers Manager, you and your employee, how should I say it,--- lied to me. I pondered why: Politically motivated?? Small minds? Discrimination? Oh, by the way, I'm Caucasian, became of age in Colo. in the 80's, an American Citizen, 5th generation raised in Colorado. Can management clarify if this is accepted behavior in Kroger Corp.? Or just in Loveland Eagle Drive King Soopers? So, prove me wrong. If I am, then I'll admit my mistake. Until then I've had enough of King Soopers and will do my best to let everyone I can, know. I've been social media from day one. Oh, and, look at other reviews, the words 'lied to me' come up there too.. By the way, the AI you have in self checkout is just awful. If you have enough groceries, it will give you an error and you stand there waiting for someone to come with their bar code.....

Most gas stations treat you like a minor inconvenience. Buc-ee's, however, has erected a massive, glittering cathedral dedicated to a cartoon beaver, and it treats highway consumerism as a joyful, high-stakes religion. We were driving from Denver to Cheyenne with a handful of individuals who have never experienced the phenomenon that is Buc-ee's, so stopping was an absolute certainty. People from the Mid-Atlantic who lack worldliness like to claim that Buc-ee's is just an oversized Wawa or Sheetz. They are entirely wrong. For starters, Buc-ee's explicitly bans 18-wheelers from the property, leaving the grid of well over one hundred fueling positions open entirely to a synchronized ballet of family SUVs. Inside, the scale is borderline psychedelic. There is a literal "Wall of Jerky" and rows of rotating homemade fudge flavors. At the center is the Texas Round Up station, where employees in paper hats yell "Fresh brisket on the board!" before chopping smoked beef with rhythmic, hypnotic violence. I bought the mandatory Beaver Nuggets: puffy, caramel-coated corn snacks resembling mutant Corn Pops that possess the terrifying supernatural ability to vanish from the bag without any conscious human intervention. Then there are the restrooms. They are celebrated on billboards for hundreds of miles, and they live up to the mythology. They are massive, brightly lit, and so impossibly clean that you suspect the laws of biological decay have been suspended by corporate decree. The entire operation functions because the company pays wages well above the highway standard, proving a radical sociological theory: if you compensate people fairly, they will actually take pride in keeping a floor spotless. It is a wildly efficient, beautifully absurd roadside institution. You pull in merely needing regular unleaded, and you leave with a warm chopped brisket sandwich, a bag of sugary corn, and a profound sense of wonder.

Shopping was very fun! We bought T-shirts for the family, hats, magnets and a variety of other things. Best of all was the food. We tried the brisket sandwich and Carolina pulled pork sandwich, along with some Beaver chips (homemade potato chips). We bought fudge to go and it was the best fudge I've ever eaten. The jerky selection was next-level and the jerky we tried was amazing. I really wish we had one closer to home but at least we have one in our home state of Arizona now.
