I had a great experience at this new meat shop in Rancho today! I was excited to find they sell mango habanero marinated chicken, something I've been looking for for a while, and it definitely didn't disappoint. I also picked up some short ribs, and they were absolutely delicious. The prices are fair, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A gal who assisted me made the experience even better with her great customer service. They also have plenty of seating if you want to enjoy some of the freshly prepared food they sell. I tried an asada taco, and it was really good! I especially liked the variety of sauces and how clean and well-maintained the salsa bar was. I was anxiously waiting for this place to open! A carniceria so close to my home! Yes! We came in here on a Sunday after church and it was VERY busy. The employees are friendly and helpful, but the flow of everything was very confusing. As a result, I think the layout of the store could be better. I'm going to give them some grace since they just opened and I think they have some things to work out. I'd also like to visit maybe when it isn't so packed. I haven't tried their prepared food, though it looks amazing. They also sell some fresh grocery items as well as prepared salsas and guacamole. Rancho Cucamonga needed a legit Carniceria so bad. My husband and I stopped by yesterday morning and saw they had outdoor seating and the doors were open. We were immediately welcomed as we approached the door. Customer service is so friendly. The interior is sleek and modern with everything you need including fresh produce, ready made salsas, guacamole, pico de gallo, and more. They serve food as well from tacos, burritos, menudo on the weekends and more. We both ordered carne asada burritos and some meat to take home to grill. Fast forward to today, we just grilled up the chicken and asada we got yesterday and it was perfection! Really flavorful. We will be back for sure. read more

There's a new small business that just opened on Foothill & Elm, right on the corner next to F45 Fitness and the Shell gas station. They sell fresh meats like carne asada, shrimp, and chicken, along with fresh veggies and homemade salsa. They also offer catering, and on Saturdays and Sundays they make menudo, you can even bring your own pot and they'll charge by weight. Their grand opening is on the 21st, I think.. but they're already serving delicious tacos. I tried one and it was so good. I got a carne Asada burrito.. they have a salsa bar next to it and seating is outside on the patio. The food arrived quickly wasn't much of a way very tasty. Unfortunately their tortilla fell apart pretty quickly because of the meat was fresh off the grill and still had some of it oil and juices in it. Love this place! Bought both carne preparada (carne asada) and pollo preparado (pollo asado) for a Memorial Day and birthday celebration. The meats were absolutely delicious. Both meats were seasoned very well and very tender when grilled on the BBQ. They were reasonably priced and well worth the cost. I am very particular about the food at my tareadas, but I can highly recommend this carnicería for excellent meats. The people in the carnicería were also very friendly and helpful. They make the whole place very welcoming. Their outside area looks like a great place to just sit and enjoy great tacos. I went in to just check it out, accidentally walked up to the counter, accidentally ordered 4 tacos (carne asada) and THEY WERE AMAZING! If I could give this place a 0 I would! This place is too pricey! I came in today and ordered a carne asada burrito mind you this burrito is smaller than my little palm. They made my burrito so sloppy, so greasy, there was so much fat in the meat, every bite I took I had to take a piece of fat out my mouth so disgusting! I paid $16.56 for a low quality burrito! Chipotle burritos are $10 and are so big and fat and so much more options to put in the burrito! This place doesn't give you your money's worth that's for sure. I'm leaving this review because while the food at Carniceria Los Compadres is good, the behavior of one employee was completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed by management. This has now happened to me twice. On my most recent visit (Saturday), I ordered multiple items including a huarache. When I didn't pronounce the word correctly, an employee a woman with red lipstick began loudly mocking me in front of other customers. She pointed at me, laughed hysterically, and repeatedly said, "That's her--huarache," while continuing to laugh and telling the cooks, It went on long enough that it made the employee taking my order visibly uncomfortable. I even had to tell her to ignore it so she could continue helping me. What's worse is that this exact same employee women with the red lipstick behaved the same way during my previous visit two weeks earlier--again laughing and making fun of my pronunciation. Let me be clear: this is not funny, it's not harmless, and it's not acceptable. Publicly humiliating a paying customer over pronunciation is unprofessional and disrespectful. No one should feel mocked for how they speak, especially in a business that serves a diverse community. It's disappointing because the food is genuinely good, but experiences like this make me question whether I'll return. Management needs to address this behavior immediately. No customer should be treated this way. read more
