One thing that is consistent is the portion size! Check out these Asada Fries: https://yelp.to/QwFTIFddpU Loaded with beans, plant-based Carne Asada, pico de gallo, guacamole, chipotle cashew crema, and salsa. Eating this was like reuniting with a good friend I haven't seen in a while. So yummy! I also really dig this food hall location! Easy parking, lots of places to sit (indoor or outdoor). The convenience alone may increase interactions with Cena Vegan more frequently.

We also ordered pozole, asada fries and their incredible horchata to tame the spice. Their pozole was sooooo good! The broth was rich, flavorful and I fully enjoyed every single bite. This was easily one of the best, if not THE BEST pozole I've ever had. The tamale had excellent flavor as well and the masa was the perfect texture. Their asada fries were awesome as always and we had to get a couple of horchatas which has a perfect and deep cinnamon flavor. The service was awesome as always and so was the food. We will definitely be back soon!

Even though the beer prices have definitely crept up over the years, the entertainment is always solid and the vibes are unmatched. Now that the classic car is finally fixed, we can't wait to bring it to the drive-in! My toddler and I busted some moves on the dance floor and a zoot suiter complimented us on our moves. The Food: You have to visit Caesar. He's been here for years and his BBQ sticks are 5-star perfection. I always get one of each with the rice--pro tip: load it up with the vinegar and hot sauce. The Finds: Shoutout to the two guys in the second-to-last row. Browsing their collection felt like being back in a Blockbuster! We finally scored The Lone Ranger and a classic Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris flick. Also, don't miss my buddy in Row A for records; he always has the heat. Family Friendly: My toddler had a blast on the train ride (super convenient that they take Zelle now). I was bummed I couldn't find my usual poster-framing vendor, but the trip was still worth it.

They even had a band playing and it was still a very, very small crowd. Not like the good old days when this place used to be jumping on a Saturday. Don't know if this was due to being open late on a Friday and having a band playing later on that Saturday night, but like I said very surprised on how small the crowd was. Unsure if I will be back, but brought back a lot of good memories of a lot of good times here.

There's a kiosk to self-order, I ended up talking to the cashier anyways since there was no line. The ambiance is that of Rodeo 72, otherwise the storefront here is white and clean and nondescript. Tacos de canasta - soft, steamy, juicy, oily, and tasty. I got one of each (potato, chicharron, and beans), which were well seasoned and moist. Birria Mexican burrito - delicious. Maybe I have a small sample size but among the better birria I've tried lately, the meat is tender and juicy and falls apart without any weird stinginess. Comes with consommé which itself is super flavorful and doesn't feel like just oily, muddy meat juice. Salsas - pleasantly spicy, the tomatillo is my favorite. Maybe my experience was different from others since the food court wasn't busy at all. But I'll be coming back regularly when I'm in the area.

I ordered the tacos dorado with asada for myself. Service was good and standard, so I have no complaints about it. I got notified via text instead of a buzzer. You have an option between frijoles or papas as your base. I went with potatoes. The tacos themselves were good. It was basically loaded potato tacos where they top it with meat. The confusing thing was the "tomato sauce" that they use. I have no reference for what the sauce was supposed to be, but it reminded me more of a salsa and it was too wet for my liking. The tacos already came with salsa, so I didn't think the tomato sauce was needed. Didn't really add much to my food other than drenching it more with the fixings that were already included. Solid taco vendor. They have other interesting offerings I'm down to try like their birria grilled cheese, so I'd probably return if I'm back in the area.
