4 stars because They were out of asada early! parking was hard but man it felt so exciting, like I was back in Mexico again. Our tortillas were the teeny tiny doubles, freshly made and cooked. One guy was carving the trompo, one guy filling the order, and another guy handling cash and rolling burritos. It was quite the experience for me, and jealous that I live far away and the locals get to experience this feat of entrepreneurship on the regular. We saw raza and gringos eating together just enjoying their meals. Recommend coming early and don't park in the grocery store lot, there's security prowling around! Tacos Los Primos is our go to taco spot. The employees are so welcoming, the service is quick and easy. We've tried plenty of items and have never been disappointed. I'm usually a red sauce kind of girl, but the green sauces are where it's at. The salsa bar is usually fully stocked and clean. It is serve yourself. They don't accept card but they do take zelle. There's some benches out during the week and table seeting during the weekends. read more

I've never had food truck tacos and I have always been curious about this particular truck that parks right in front of the Whittier DMV. AND WOW! I was so happy that each taco I chose, was like heaven! Their carnitas, asada, cabeza, Chicharron, and lengua, if I remember correctly, since my husband paired up a tall beer to go with our tacos. Not the same place. I came to this place before the pandemic a few times and they were fantastic and the owner was pretty cool and friendly. The food is not the same, the chorizo and carne asada tacos were dry and it tasted like a lacked something. My wife did not care for her quesadilla either and the service was not the same. The friendly and pleasant man behind the counter is gone and replaced by a bitter old man that treated us as if he was doing us a favor. This truck started parking by the DMV a while back and i noticed it but never gave it much thought. Then one evening I was thinking about what to get for dinner and saw all the great reviews, knew it was literally just down the street from me so I figured lets give it a try. Now the best street tacos I have found in the area are Cilantros Tacos across from the Blue Hills nursery. I was excited to try the tacos here just from all the 5 star reviews. Unfortunantly I cant give it 5 stars. Yes, the tacos are good but I've had better. I found the meat in all my tacos (lengua, tripe and cabeza) to be a little too greasy. Taste wise it was fine. On the plus side the tacos are only $1.25 ea. Cant beat that. I dunno. ok tacos, close to the house. I'd consider going back. by the way lots of folks here on a saturday night getting they eat on. read more

Fantastic Tacos! Well, we all love tacos and this is another truck that has earned the "I'm going back" moniker. With so many tacos spots out there I find many to just simply "taste the same". This little spot has a better than average taste which is always good for me. It's not a five stars taco, which I know a couple spots that earned them 5 stars - but it's a really good spot. You can find them here in the evenings. They have a pretty good selection. I recommend the buche and tripa, they are cooked really well and saturated with all the great stuff that's bad for you. I am always a little iffy about eating at food trucks, but recently my husband decided to stop by for a burrito and I had to try as well. He loved his burrito and I loved my tacos. By far, probably the best tacos in the area! The meat is delicious, not dry, and very flavorful. I love that the give all the side stuff for the tacos too - grilled onions, peppers, etc. The staff is friendly and they're usually at the same spot until pretty late. definitely a good spot to try. The pastor was very delicious I didnt like the asada too much but it was ok. Salsa very spicy and very delicious as well.

When they first got here their tacos and burritos were Great. But for some time now their food now is not tasty anymore im surprised people actually line up for their food.
