This has a hint of chocolate, tasted like a Mexican chocolate I love so much CarlosV, like a Mexican chocolate cookie. If you know these flavors, you know it's delicious! I just want to point out that they were here in Venice for a festival, they are usually located in Whittier and many times trucks do raise their prices for events. The sumo fries was delicious. The asada itself was unique. It had a smokey flavor which separates itself from other spots. It appeared to be cooked on charcoal, but given it is a food truck, that would be hard to pull off. The sumo taco was something different. It's cheese melted like a tortilla which holds the asada. It was very heavy, greasy and difficult to enjoy. The chips was a plus where you can rip the taco and place it on the chip. If you want something heavy, this sumo is for you. A bit heavy to my liking, so you might want to try a regular taco or burrito. But then again, it's called sumo for a reason. Curious if this spot would experiment with gorditas, a crisp tortilla. I think their filing would knock this out of the park. I also wish they would advertise what drinks they have. Nonetheless, worth a try.
