Chris took care of us. He helped us with recommendations, my husband kept it simple with the eggs your way (scrambled), potatoes, sausage, bacon, and toast. I got the Croissant sandwich, it had tomato, arugula, egg, avocado, pesto, and aioli and I passed on the meat. It was a tasty sandwich I wish it had a little spice on it but the ingredients were quality. I also got roasted potatoes, they were cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they were also seasoned well. I also got a cocktail, it was called Clouded Judgement, it was their take on a margarita but it was simple but tasty with a nice amount of lime juice. We also got my kid some food to go, chocolate chip pancakes, bacon and eggs. The pancakes were fluffy and packed with chips. The bacon was thin but it had a nice crisp on it. The eggs were good too. I ordered the "Bacado Omelette" (bacon, cheese, avocado, and mushrooms) with a side of cheese grits. Our friends ordered a breakfast burrito and avocado toast. The Mill is beautifully decorated and has an incredible staff. Everyone there was SO friendly. While we waited for our brunch entrees, we had such a great time catching up. In our household, cheese grits were a staple, especially at our backyard barbecues. I thought my mom made the best cheese grits, but these had her beat hands down. Walking into the diner takes you back to an earlier time, but the smiling faces of the servers keeps you engaged and craving every bite. I got the Chicken Fried Steak combo with a waffle, and it was great! The steak was fried to perfection with golden brown skin, and the grits provided were creamy and to consistency! My wife got the tenders and grits combo, a meal that she ate and left no crumb to be scavenged after.
