    Salmon and eggs
    Elle L.

There was no wait time when we arrived, was able to be seated right away....according to the reviews the amount of time that it takes to receive your food is longer than usual. We were told twice that the wait would be a little longer than normal....15 mins longer. I think we waited about 45 mins for out food. I had the salmon and eggs that was supposed to come with breakfast potatoes (new potatoes) but received what appeared to be over cooked French fries. The salmon was slightly over cooked as well which made it dry...the order also came with a pancake that was ok. The Tennessee omelet was good, it was filled with brisket and vegetables. The tea is veryyy sweet and I felt dizzy after drinking a class. It was really really sweet. I think they need to fine tune some things in the kitchen as far as the food is concerned. This will ensure that you get what you ordered (correct potatoes and salmon cooked correctly) and that the food comes out in a timely fashion. This could be a nice spot if they work out the kinks.....I noticed other issues but I'm not going to point them out, they are in other reviews on Yelp.

    Chicken & Waffles

I'm sorry to leave a 1 star, but this place needs to reevaluate. It doesn't matter if the place looks fancy, decent or dingy...the food better be top notch (or better than my cooking). We came here during Easter Sunday because all the other brunch places were packed.... worst idea ever..should've went to MickyD instead. I ordered the Chicken & Waffles. The waffle tasted/felt like a sponge!! On top of that, the chicken was hard, flat and the batter fell right off. Oh, I ordered an iced vanilla coffee...and they didn't have that. What brunch place doesn't have iced coffee?? Kudos to them for trying to make it, but it was just half of cup of vanilla syrup and one droplet of coffee. Should've just went with a cup of black coffee when they told me they don't have iced coffee. Not worth the price for the quality of the food!! I read other reviews about their customer service, and I don't have any complaints about their service. They were attentive and fast. Maybe because it was just us and 3 other couples dining??

    2 Piece Mississippi Catfish Filets

This is my personal opinion, but as a true Mississippi girl, i know the fish advertised as catfish is swai. So disappointed. It was so chewy and overall , gets a 0/10. The collard greens still had the stems with made them hard to swallow once chewed. Yuck. I'm sure this place has other great things on the menu, but the catfish is a no go.

Let's just start with how loud the music is in this place!! We ordered drinks and an app and I decided to ask the folks if they can turn the music they said No it was pre set!! I can't imagine that with all the speakers in this place!! I ordered the Chicken fried steak for $9.00 and you have to add the sides separately for $3.99 each!! Picture below is my $3.99 fries!! Wow ridiculous!! The CFS was not bad that's the reason they get 2 stars!! I also ordered Candied yams which I sent back they were just yams from a can I didn't even try them!! I never send back food without tasting that's how bad they looked!! My sons red beans and rice the beans were crunchy and undercooked!! The highlight of the place was our waitress and girl behind bar were super kind! Probably not be going back! Good eating all!

The driest chicken wings as well! No seasoning and overcooked. C'mon now. Chicken?

This place is a joke. Either that or management should consider who they let run the joint on the weekends maybe even close. Such a disappointment. I mad at myself for paying what I paid. Don't do it.

Geez I am on a roll with bad places to eat . Always check yelp first lol. Server was nice. Place was empty and it took close to an hour to get our food. The burger was not fresh ( frozen pretty sure). The chicken fried chicken was tough and the potatoes were not real potatoes but reconstituted potatoes. Expensive burger with no sides not even a garnish. New to town so I had hope but it was Al around bad. Beautiful place but bad food that is overpriced

Nice family atmosphere, good vibes and friendly servers. My pork chops and greens tasted great Candied Yams-wasn't my favorite

Wanted to try a new spot out for dinner and I'm glad we did. The restaurant is spacious and the service was great. I should have uploaded a respectable picture of my plate but I started to dig right in as soon as I got it so I apologize for that. All I can say is they are on point with all of their dishes and flavors. I ordered the whole wings, fries, red beans and rice with a daiquiri and the daiquiri was full of flavor too! My wife ordered the chicken fried chicken but we didn't get to take a full picture of that either lol yall stop by!!

Almost passed up an amazing place because of reviews. Glad that I came here. Great service, amazing food and vibe. Me and my lady enjoyed an amazing meal. We will be sure to come back.

Why is this place still open??? It's horrible!! The worst! They are cooking food in old grease! I literally had to spit my food out! Nobody is here, which tells a lot about the place!

Fried thighs, collard greens, corn bread, Mac n cheese
    G S.

The atmosphere is nice.... good soft soul music in the background. There were only 8 people including me in the restaurant eating while I was there. The table beside me was nasty when I walked in and still nasty after being there about 25 minutes. The restaurant was not busy so it's unclear why the staff never cleaned the table. One of the staff was on the floor eating something in a bowl standing around talking. However, no one cleaned the table! Then a group of 3 were standing around chatting but no one ever cleaned the table. My food had arrived and I didn't want to look at the mess while eating so I broke down and asked my waitress to please clean the dirty table next to me. I had fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and collard greens. The greens were salty and seemed like they were out of a can. The mac n cheese was good but could have been more cheesey. Chicken was juicy and the skin had a good crunch. Overall the food was good, service was pleasant and helpful. I would visit again and try some other menu items

YUM 3 jumbo wings and collard greens, and Mac and cheese!

My 3 jumbo wings Mac and cheese and collards where devine, and the atmosphere was so calm and elegant. Our waiter Mark was just as pleasant, this is a must try!!!!

Lazy Dog is always low lightened, which makes it hard to see your food or companion across. It does have a date night vibe writing all over it. In my opinion, too dark. I could barely see my food.

In the words of the great George Bush, "Fool me once, shame on.... You. Fool me can't get fooled…read moreagain.". I am sad to report that I was fooled again. I've been a semi regular at BJ's over the last year and was initially pretty excited about it - Good beer, good meaty pizzas.... But the last 3 times I've been to BJ's, the service has deteriorated exponentially to the point I can never return. Let me tell you about the last straw..... Dinner began as normal - Drinks and food were brought out timely, but I could never have known what would happen next. When I was handed my refill of slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper from my waitress, I couldn't help but notice the bottom of the glass was hot. No matter, the drink was sufficiently cold. I set the cup on the table, took a bite of my Epic Five Meat pizza, took the slightest moment to blink... BANG! I opened my eyes to find my glass had exploded, splitting itself perfectly in half, with my 20 ounces of slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper evacuating the glass as if it were the Titanic in reverse, spilling onto my pants, shoes, table and my entire side of the booth. As it turns out, the hot glass with an ice cold drink in it was indeed...... The matter. Unfortunately, as a result of the glass exploding, it was unclear, how much, if any shards of glass were left in mine and my party's food. When we attempted to wave our waitress down, she seemed to understand something had happened and reassured us, "I'll get him a new drink." A new drink was the least of my problems. I needed a towel. Thankfully a single towel was brought to us, and the waitress left it while she went to get me another drink, presumably with a bus boy on their way any minute to clean up the remnants of the exploded glass. The bus boy never came. As it appears to me, I, the patron soaked in slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper, dealing with the shock of being served an IED with slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper as the accelerant, was expected to clean the mess up. There I was, standing in the middle of the restaurant soaked with slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper waiting for solutions. Help was not on the way. The waitress brought me a new drink, but with myself and the booth still soaked there was nowhere to enjoy my slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper, so we asked to speak with the manager. When arriving on the scene of the exploding slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper, the manager seemed to explain what happened, "Looks like you were given a hot glass and it exploded." To which I responded, "Yes. It appears I was.". I explained to the manager that I was not comfortable eating food that possibly had some extra glass seasoning on it from my explosive slightly flat, watered down Dr. Pepper. He seemed to be confused as to what should happen next. He offered to remake the food, but with myself and the booth still soaked, there would be nowhere to enjoy them. So our bill was heavily discounted for the food that was ordered, and I left stickier and sadder than I entered. I, as a man of morals, living by the wise words of George Bush, cannot return to this establishment to, "Get fooled again." And no, human beings and glass shards cannot coexist peacefully. See attached for proof of the exploding glass. Review done.

She took our drink order and came back immediately with them. We order an appetizer and the 19oz steak, and an order of 12 grilled shrimp with rice. Sweet potatoes all around and side salads. The salads and appetizer of fried pickles came out. The fried pickles were piping hot and with a side of house made ranch dressing! Yum! The salads were so fresh and crisp... croutons, grape tomatoes, eggs. It was a wonderful salad! I think next time I'll get a bigger one! The steak came out perfect temp and exactly Medium Rare. The grilled shrimp also came out well! Perfect temperature and color! The rice was piping hot. The sweet potatoes were also great! My friend also tried the strawberry margarita and said it was delish! I was driving, so only ice tea for me! Emily was on point bringing us refills and didn't bat an eye, when we stopped her for a water and artificial sweetener.... She brought it promptly. The table we sat at was a booth and chair combo. The company that I was with sat in the chairs, they did complain that the chairs were a little low to the table and they sat really hard.... Padding on the seats would have been preferred. I sat on the bench, which was comfortable since it was padded. The manager, Bree, made an appearance at our table and greeted us, asking about our experience. This was a really nice touch. Now let me say one thing, if you are looking for a quiet dinner, this place is not for you. This is what I consider a Family restaurant, children and loud noise from everywhere. Not my favorite kind of place to eat, but the quality of the food made up for the racket. Also, if you have a peanut allergy, get your food to go. There are bags of peanuts on every table. I DID smell peanuts while there. I have an allergy but can take the smell in small doses. It didn't last but for those with severe sensitivity, beware. Would I eat here again? Definitely! But I think I will go when most people are at work.
