When I first met with him me made me feel at ease. He evaluated my situation and came up with a treatment plan. I told him i was scared of manual cracking or as i think they call it manual stipulation and he said no worries he has a solution he used an adjusting tool. Which doesn't hurt at all. Since i have been seeing him for a couple weeks and i feel more comfortable i am allowing him to do manual stipulation on the areas that need it and it doesn't hurt at all i was fearful for no reason but he has been very patient calm and made sure i was absolutely comfortable with the idea before even doing it. It took us a few months to find a new one. Our insurance recommended Dr. Movsessian. I really like his non-aggressive adjustment technique. At first, I wasn't sure if there was impact, however, I can feel the difference in the weeks following the adjustments. Less pain and stiffness, more mobility. I also have a tendency to grind my teeth so I use a custom guard. I have small surface fractures on my molars and my jaw is usually very tense and sore when I wake up. My dentist recommended having my chiropractor help to adjust my jaw and neck. I mentioned it to Dr. Movsessian and the very first time he adjusted for that, I felt the difference. I don't wake up feeling like my teeth are stuck together or can't move my jaw. Before, my teeth would be sore for days and it would hurt to chew on my left side, but after the adjustment there is less tension and it seems as if I'm grinding my teeth less.
